I never been here before. Great first experience. Great food and service.
I have been a long term Passion Fish customer. This visit was horrid, primarily due to a lone server at the bar. I made the mistake of dining on a high top in the bar area. Big mistake. Ordered my favorite meal of flounder. Food was delivered, and that was the last semblance of any customer service or interface. Never got a revisit for another drink with the meal or for the tab even. After an extended wait, I had to stand in Q at the bar to pay to get out of there. I will never order food in the bar area due to the woefully poor service.
Great birthday dinner! Everything, the food, the ambiance, and the service were outstanding! Thanks to everyone at PassionFish!
Family getting together, everyone had great food and a wonderful experience
Worst service ever. Waited 45 minutes between appetizer in main course for just two people
Great meal and atmosphere
The place was pretty empty when we arrived. It was early. I found that were not enough choices that did not have peppers in it. Even my beloved crab cakes had peppers, which does not make it a Chesapeake crab cake. Maryland/Chesapeake crab cakes do not have peppers of any kind in them. I ended up with the lobster tails which were drowning in butter or oil. I don’t like lobster but this was pretty much my only choice and would not order again. Actually I probably would not return.
We had our favorites, delicious as always. Service from bar and waitstaff was perfect.
We were blow away by the quality of the seafood and the creativity of the dishes. We ate outside so not sure about the noise level inside.
We were in the Reston area and visiting our “old haunts” and wanted some seafood so we tried passion fish. Turns out that it was the best seafood we had all week including spending most of the week on the eastern shore. Definitely will go here whenever we are in the area.
Passion Fish was an awesome choice for our family ‘s celebration dinner. We were 5?adults an 2 children. Norah was our server who responded to our questions and took very good care of us. We will return for our next family milestone event and celebration.
We met with friends for a nice night out and certainly were not disappointed. Among us, we had swordfish, mussels, blackened fish and crab cakes. All were quite good. My swordfish was properly cooked and nicely presented. My only complaint is that many of the entrees come without either a starch or a vegetable, causing you to have to order those as sides. The side portions seem too large for a normal serving but somehow not large enough to share. For the price, the restaurant ought to provide basic starch and veggies with their meals and then work with the customers to go from there. Lots of other restaurants do this, so it should not be beyond this one, which is an otherwise excellent restaurant.
Seafood Gumbo is to-die-for kind of DELICIOUS! 👍👍😋
Fantastic experience! Servers and hosts wished us a happy anniversary and made us feel very special. Will go back again!
Celebrating an engagement. the service was super and the food is always great. They went the extra mile to accommodate us with a special printed momento menu and the flower arrangement we brought with us for the table.
Wonderful service and dining experience for our out of the country guests. Service by gm and Vince second to none! Our go to place for us and for guests! Bravo chef Tunks and team!
The dining experience was excellent. Everything was cooked to perfection.
Always friendly and courteous service. The food is always outstanding. My family and I really enjoy eating here.
One of our favorite places to go for special occasions.
Great date night dinner menu. Fantastic menu selection and wonderful service. Not rushed and you feel appreciated.
Elected outdoor dining on a perfect early evening. Same excellent cuisine with less interior chatter and clatter. This restaurant lends itself to special self-indulgent occasions, when price is no object.
We eat at Passion Fish every other month or so. This time it was for my mother’s 96th birthday. My sister and her family come into town for the occasion. It was perfect all the way around.
Wedding anniversary celebration. We were treated like royalty. Personalized menu, two dedicated servers to our table. And the food was par excellence! One of the singular best dining experience in our lives (and we eat out st least three times a week at Open Tables too-ranked restaurants. PassionFish is simply next-level dining!
expensive but great food. a little loud for our business meeting and we had to ask them to turn the music down. great dinner though and would absolutely go back.
I really like their classic ceviche! It is the best. You should try their calamari also!
We love a Passion Fish, the best in RTC. The crispy flounder is our favorite item on the menu. This was a birthday celebration for my husband and restaurant week. Great anytime, but extra special value during this week. Thank you to the manager and server for taking such good care of us, we will see you soon!
This is our favorite place for good food and a wonderful dining experience.
All excellent, including service, but removed one star because one of the servers came to inform us that an item ordered had gluten in it and the person who ordered it couldn’t have gluten - which was excellent - however she walked away and didn’t return to offer a replacement. Once our appetizers arrived, that guest had no appetizer and needed to request another option at that point and wait for her appetizer. Slight fail at otherwise amazing restaurant (been to other locations and Reston is the BEST!) Food is always excellent and restaurant week prices can’t be beat!
Great! We went for restaurant week, but the meals there are always worth it - regardless of restaurant week. Service is impeccable and the fish is always delicious.
It was my Fiancé’s 30th birthday and the Passion Fish Staff took a wonderful care of us and made her feel very special on her special day! We will definitely be back, we love this place!
Service was poor, waiter had to come back and ask what our order was several times, and we still were given the wrong dessert! Oysters were good, sushi was fine but sloppy in execution. Fish size was a good portion. Brussel sprouts were over salted. Eggplant was good.
I’ve been here a few times, but the this last time was for Restaurant Week. We love that we could pick from almost anything on the menu for our entree. The food was good and the staff were great.
Great food. Nice ambiance and atmosphere. Waiters were great and food was nicely ireoared🗣
Wonderful food and service
Wonderful (as always) evening spent at PassionFish. Service and food were spectacular.
We had a fine dinner at Passion Fish, excellent service, cold drinks! I had the Atlantic Char, very tasty and my wife the Branzino. Our son had the gumbo, which was also excellent. The Brussels sprouts side dish is killer! The only gripe with the food was the branzino, which is a whole fish and very bony. Had to be very careful eating it. And its a mid-to-upscale seafood place so it ain't cheap! (But we weren't expecting it to be). Overall an excellent seafood restaurant, go and enjoy and don't worry about saving a couple of bucks. I can't wait to go back and try the sushi.....
Amazing per usual!
Great as usual. Every time is excellent.
My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed Passion Fish from the cocktail to the delicious swordfish and all that accompanied our dinner. The server was professional and friendly as were other staff members who helped serve. The manager stopped by to check on us and he discussed the sourcing of our dinner with expertise. It was a relaxing evening that felt like a perfect mini-vacation. Thank you Passion Fish!
Disappointed that a $5 charge was added this year if ordering the crabcake sandwich. Not sure we will bother driving from Arlington again (tolls).
