Our server,Geoffrey was attentive and efficient and when I told him we were celebrating a birthday, he arranged a complimentary dessert and presented it with lighted candle. Brunch was delicious. Thanks!
Consistently the best restaurant in Reston. I appreciate the moderate noise level, and often come here for business lunches and dinners.
The dinner was fabulous as always. Was difficult to converse because of the noise but then again it's the holidays and everyone is out and quite loud.
The calamari appetizer was outstanding. The main course could have been better but the eggplant side dish was fabulous.
Had a great birthday dinner at Passion Fish. The service was amazing and so was the food. I am very pleased.
Loved it best service in a long time! server was absolutely great
It was my date’s first experience and it definitely was an impressive experience for her. The calamari appetizer was exceptional, I could have had that as an entree.
Delicious food. Great people. Definitely going back here.
When we walked in I though wow really noisy, this is going to be awful, but they seated us upstairs in the far corner and it was great. The beet salad was very special. I had seared scallops.
Great food and great service as always. Would always come back!
Our favorite restaurant...easy parking, friendly servers, and the food is delicious.
Great seafood - very creative combinations - limited veterinarian options
I have been to Passionfish over 10x. I live in Reston so its convenient. Food can be uneven sometimes. But not this past Saturday. Everything was superb.
PassionFish is consistently excellent. The seafood never disappoints. Soups are amazing (lobster bisque and corn/crab chowder).
Start to finish, it couldn't have been nicer. Waiter was excellent; helped with our decisions about cocktails, wine, and menu. He was always nearby when we needed him, but gave us space to enjoy our meal and conversation. The food was perfection! Every course was exceptional. We were there the night before Thanksgiving--not packed--so it was not too noisy. Expensive for us...so a special treat, as opposed to a place we could frequent. Will definitely be back and will recommend to friends.
All around great experience. Asked for "quiet table" and then had two teenagers sit right next to us. Not a huge deal, but could've been better. Food and service was excellent.
The customer service was outstanding the food was more than delicious I am definitely taking my husband over there again
PassionFish is one of my favorite restaurants and their Sunday Brunch has been my favorite Sunday Brunch restaurant, for both value and the food.
On this visit, the staff went way above their usual helpfulness.
One of the guests had to be taken home due to not feeling well. The staff save the driver's first course and they put the rest of our main courses on hold.
The food was very good. The only disappointment were the children's pancakes, which were silver dollar size and cost $7.00 for three.
We had a great dinner with friends .
Will go back !
Always great! Love the Cioppino. Service is always great. 1/2 price wine on Sunday makes it certainly a good deal. Had lots of fun with friends in a relaxed atmosphere. Would definitely go there again!
Great service, but food was mediocre at best. No real flavor in anything other than heat in some items. Desert item was very good.
I took my wife to Passion Fish for her 33rd birthday. We had excellent service (thanks Rob) and a delicious meal. Everything was wonderful
This was our second time at PassionFish and the food and service did not disappoint. It is an up market restaurant so more expensive than average in the area, but well worth it for a special occasion. Service is always impeccable and is at the top of our restaurant list.
very nice lunch menu. good healthy options, excellent service.
Great meal!! Service was uneven at first and the manager more than took care of it. This is one of my favorite places!
Fish was fresh, well prepared and waiter was helpful with sauce recommendations (trout w/ lemon butter sauce was great, as were the snap peas).
Service was excellent. Food was very nicely presented and delicious. We lingered over dinner but never felt rushed. Very nice place for a friends’ reunion.
The service was the best I've had in a long time. Our appetizers were amazing (tuna tartare & sushi rolls), and my girlfriend's dinner was tasty (scallops). I got the special cod over clam chowder, and it was super disappointing. The fish and soup were both completely underseasoned, just a very bland, brownish dish. Extremely underwhelming considering it was around $35 for cod with soup. I don't mind paying for simple dishes if they're really well put together, but I couldn't even finish it. I may have just chosen a bad dish, as everything else about the restaurant was great, including the wine by the glass we got.
First visit to this restaurant based on Open Table recommendation. The meal was unforgettable - the service was fabulous and will definitely visit again when traveling to the Reston, VA area!
We had a cozy booth near the back. Service was quite good, our waiter checked on us frequently. The fresh bread with the whitefish spread was surprisingly tasty. It’s worth it to eat here just for the crab cakes. I’ve eaten crab cakes at many restaurants, some great, some not so great. Nowhere has touched the ones at PassionFish. They just melt in your mouth. The trout was excellent, and we succumbed to trying out the Mac and jack, even though Mac and cheese out is often disappointing. This was pretty tremendous. Moist, cheesy, topped with a crumb crust that tasted decadently of browned butter. All in all, a very good experience.
This is the second time we came in for Sunday brunch and it was exceptional. Great menu and price. Especially the $2 drinks. Food is consistently good and the service is fantastic.
PassionFish is a reliable selection for a nice meal out.
The food is good and the service generally very good.Prices are a bit high for the suburbs. Fish and sushi rolls are fresh and well prepared. I would like to commend the busboy, Jack, for his outstanding service. If you eat at Passionfish, please feel free to speak to Jack and tip him directly. He's a good kid.
First, our waiter, Gerard, provided truly outstanding service - gracious, friendly and attentive without being intrusive. My wife had the salmon and I enjoyed the NY strip. Both were excellent and paired well with the wines Gerard recommended. The ambiance is elegant and classy. Without the din so common at other places, my wife and I conversed at a normal volume. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience. PassionFish is where we go for a romantic special date.
Seafood is SUPERB & delicious! Highly Highly recommend it! 👍👍😋
Smokehouse Wedge Salad
Prawns & Oysters
Grilled Baby Octopus
Crab Cake ( best in DMV )
Gumbo w/ Prawns & BIG Oysters 👍👍
This place is always good, however in my reservations I requested to be seated upstairs for a company dinner. Instead we were seated in the front close to the bar, which was very very noisy and we could not discuss business to much. For a place like this I read reservations closer if they are asking for other detail information.
I would probably choose another restaurant for my next business meeting. I would recommend to a friend, but not for a business meeting. If we were seated upstairs as I requested it would have been okay.
Please pay to attention to detail
We love their sushi! It is excellent. They were busy with a few large parties so service was a bit off, and I’m being kind. Have been gong there for a long time and we know the food will be good. It’s easy to get in and out, as far as parking, for dinner. Overall it’s our go to close to home.
It was PassionFish's 10th anniversary and to honor their cardholding members, they had some $10.00 specials from their appetizer and sushi menu. My daugther-in-law and I made a meal from the specials (added on dessert and coffee.) Oysters were $1.00 apiece. It was a very tasty meal and we enjoyed ourselves. I had oysters to start and she had fried clams. We then split two of the sushi rolls and a hot calamari dish. We were happy to celebrate PassionFish's 10th.
We had our wedding reception dinner at PassionFish, and we come here every year for our anniversary. Food and service is always on point!
Overall I would rate the seafood as the best in NoVa. The dining room is nice and the service was friendly and attentive. I had the swordfish which was delicious and grilled perfectly (medium). Others in our party were very pleased with the halibut special, the salmon, the lobster, and the gumbo. The wine (Lauverjat Sancerre) was a great pairing. I am looking forward to a return visit.
