Passero translates to “sparrow” in Italian, and like the sparrow this neighborhood eatery symbolizes joy, creativity and hard work. Passero serves as a reminder that busy hands and minds promote a happy and full life.
melted provolone, red sauce, fusilli
Pork and Veal Meatballs
sunday recipe, heirloom buttered popcorn polenta, roasted tomato sauce
Nice Piece of Fish
picatta style, faroe island salmon, mighty vine tomato, garlic sauted spinach, charred lemon
Good local, casual dining. Responsive service, good value for the money. Ample portions.
The waiter was very informative on the
Menu and helped us decide.
All choices were excellent
I read great reviews so I was a little disappointed with our experience. We had a reservation for dining on the patio due to COVID. The table was unfortunately setup on a very uneven part which made it uncomfortable. Had to sit in a folding chair which was also not great and I would overlook that if everything else was spot on.
I was most unhappy with our server who just about every time he approached our table he had an armful of dirty dishes that he was carrying. I would rather have a server take care of the bussing of tables and then give us the attention we deserve rather than stopping by on his way to dispose of dirty dishes, etc.. Also made it clear that there probably wasn’t a whole lot of hand washing going on by him. In a pandemic that is a turn off and potentially dangerous. I hope this is helpful
Food and service were outstanding. Ambiance of outdoor downing not the greatest but they are adapting the best they can with the pandemic.
Haven't had a chance to eat at Passero's new location until now. Can't say enough about the food! Ricotta/honey app was amazing. Lobster risotto was another win. The gnocchi melted in my mouth. Cheesy garlic bread was very garlicky and piping hot from oven. Guitarist on Friday night gave a nice ambiance and server Ross was great! Can't wait to work my way through more of the menu soon
Great food. One if the best if not the best restaurant in the area.
Wonderful drinks and food, and excellent service. We thoroughly enjoyed the general tsao cauliflower appetizer and the shroomin’ pizza!
Food was excellent, menue a bit limited, Nice outdoor area---
only dissapointment--was after stating "birthday" with reservation and telling mgr. and person who seated us--waitress forgot/was not told.
Still, I would definitely recommend.
We dined in for our Anniversary and had a good time. The food was delicious. The service was really good and the waitress even brought out a little dessert with a sparkler for our Anniversary even though we were too full to order dessert. Very nice place. The pickup line for food was really busy so that tells you the food is good.
Great meal and atmosphere. Meal cooked perfect. Burger and Red grouper. Very delicious. Had a great cocktail that was delicious too.
My food was completely burnt! But yet... they still gave it me! And they were completely out of the fish for the rest of the night at a 7:00 reservation. The server was fantastic. he handled the situation so well. We all loved the rest of the evening and would return again.
also-- open table is sucky-- they told me I receive no points for this reservation! Really??? Why???? not cool.
It was great. The food was wonderful and they have a good system for outdoor dining.
I took my wife to Passero for her 40th birthday. We had never been and were more than pleasantly surprised at the quality of food, service, and attention to safety details. The fresh made cocktails, appetizers (try the whipped ricotta) and our main courses - A Nice Piece of Fish and the Lobster Mac - was absolutely delicious.
We were there to celebrate three August Birthdays. The food was outstanding especially the grouper and the carne asada. Our server Olivia was fantastic. We will definitely be back.
Great experience! Fantastic service. I loved my chicken Parmesan and the garlic bread. Overall we had a very nice time.
Great outdoor experience. Live music. Friendly waiter.
We are frequent diners at this wonderful establishment, however this was the first time that we experienced not what usually comes out of this establishment. I lost my credit card, We were the last customers in the restaurant, I called the restaurant Friday as soon as I noticed that I lost my credit card, I was told she did not see my card, a manager would be in at 1o’clock to look further and no one else had access until this manager came in. Given this, I gave my phone number my name and it is now Saturday at 4:30 in the afternoon and no one has returned my call. I called the restaurant just now to hear only excuses of how they are training people, “I am sorry ma’am”, is one of the worst ways to speak to someone in this situation. My situation was completely negated, no care that I had to cancel my credit card, she didn’t like my tone when she said there was no way to see who worked yesterday. Really????no more needed to be said here! Along with good food, good service, exceptional customer support is expected.
Passero staff are perfectly attentive and respectful. They know when to check on a customer and when to stand back.
We love how fresh and savory the food is at Passero.
This was my first time at passero. The food was amazing and our server Sam was outstanding. He took such great care of us. Would definitely come back.
It was a beautiful day to go to Passero and enjoy the most delicious dinner ever!! There was a live musician playing a guitar and singing soothing tunes while I was enjoying the Passero must have signature dishes. Thank You Passero for making my mom 73rd birthday so memorable.
Key West Shrimp salad was amazing! Tables were appropriate distance and service was great!
The food is outstanding! A little pricey however it was worth every penny!
Great food and service. Very personable and fun for brunch.
Service was great. There was no wait, we were seated before our 11:15 reservation time slot. Our entree was just barely warm and the short ribs were not moist. (Short rib eggs Benedict) portion size was great as well as the Parmesan potatoes!!!
Very enjoyable experience. Everything we had tasted very homemade.our server Olivia was excellent. The gnocchi was just like your Noni would make. Excellent!
Homemade pasta very good.
Great experience, very accommodating and the Covid standards were very high.
We thoroughly enjoyed our experience at Passero's. Our appetizer, main course and dessert were all excellent. We have eaten at Passero's before they moved to their new larger location and my wife & I did not notice any change in the flavor and quality of their food and their service remained "spot-on".
Food was fantastic. Wait staff very attentive. We sat outside, as one is apt to do these days, and seating was comfortable.
Awesome! Wouldn’t change a thing!
Girls night out was terrific at Passero! We love the food here and the service is wonderful. There was nice music and the evening was just wonderful. We will be back for sure!! Thanks!
Ample outside seating, felt safe at all times. The food was delicious, the cauliflower appetizer is the best!
Delicious food and great service!
Excellent service and very attentive to the guidelines set forth by the state due to the pandemic. We enjoyed our food and felt safe...
Passero’s food is always so delicious. The patio was great as well.
They always do a great job!
Wonderful experience. Food was amazing and our service was great.
Delicious food, fun drink selection, and well managed spacing of the tables. A good place for getting back into the dinning out scene.
