The ambiance was great! However due to the limited menu selection and prices, I can't say that it was worth it. They did not have any vegan items on the menu (very few that could be modified), and none of the entrees could be modified to exclude dairy products. I was very surprised, since in LA, there is such a high demand for vegan or other dietary restrictions.

I was blown away by the beauty of this restaurant and I can't believe it's been here four years and it's taken me till now to get there. Amazing, personal, and friendly service; over-the-top, out-of-this world French cuisine, including the best chocolate souffle I've ever had; lovely ambience, etc. The only drawback is the price, hence my three stars on that question. This is the kind of place I would frequent all the time, were it not so expensive. As it is, it's a special occasion place. I will, however, go back to sit at the bar and try the bar menu. I will also wholeheartedly recommend pasjoli to friends and neighbors. Wow! Just wow!

Bad service, mostly excellent food, except for the steak which arrived fatty and basically uncooked. Seated in the ‘secret garden’ which even the restaurant knows is a subpar experience as they warn you via email the day of the reservation that you won’t be able to relocate inside.

This is our most favorite spot in Santa Monica and ( for that matter) 1 of our top most favorite in all of L.A.. No question 💙🩵 We have never had anything here that wasn’t amazingly delicious, special and creative. We took our family from no CA ( and they are wonderful home cooks) and they were beyond delighted! A new dish for starters is a duck confit gnocchi that lifts you to some heavenly culinary experience!!! Dreamy delicious!!! The onion tart is a classic favorite and gold beets salad so refreshing and tasty!!! One of us ordered the quail which was outstanding! My husband had the elegant white fish that is so light and beautifully satisfying. The sommelier suggested a fabulous light red wine ( bottle) so that 3 of us, each with a differing entree, could pair our meal. Of course since we were celebrating our visit we had to order for dessert the chocolate soufflé- always a treat and just the right size for sharing. Thank you Pasjoli for doing what you do and doing it with such elegance and quiet flair. Our waiter Devon was beyond superb and the manager so kind and sweet. Did I mention how truly warm and beautiful the room is? And how we love to sit and watch, from across the room, the bar ? To watch the bartender create perfect cocktails? ( we know they are delicious cuz we each had one!). It is a very special spot for us so we save it for special occasions but one could easily pop in, sit at the bar and order a fantastic dinner on a week nite and also have a lovely experience - not to mention feeling like you really are in France. Merci!!!!

The service was impeccable. The food tasted good. The fact that a boocoo expensive French restaurant didn’t have escargot on their menu blew my expectations away. $140 meal worth half of that! And no escargot…shame on you! Never again

Such a beautiful interior, gorgeous wine glasses, and overall fabulous vibe inside. Patio looked adorable too. All of the food was prepared wonderfully and can't wait to come back again to try more of the menu. Service was also amazing. Definitely do not skip dessert, the chocolate souffle wow.

STAY AWAY!!! We had the worst experience ever when it comes to service. The waitress couldn’t care less about what we wanted. The restaurant was not busy at all but still we waited so long for our beverages and they didn’t even arrive for our main course. She was super rude and rolled her eyes at us several times. We were all 6 guests in shock about this experience. The food was really good but think twice if you are looking for a nice, warm and welcoming restaurant - you won’t find it at this overpriced place Pasjoli.

We were seated in a private area which was nice, but the space heater destroyed any sense of taste and smell I had for the food. That led to me eating stale bread and bland duck breast. I appreciate the pressed duck demonstration, but the food was past fresh by the time the space heater was turned off.

Amazing food, great service, a bit underwhelmed by the secret garden, didn't feel super private or quiet enough, wine list prices are a bit over the top. But nonetheless great food and service experience!

The DUCK for 2 is amazing and worth any special occassion. The wine selection from the sommelier was an excellent pairing as well. Couldn't have asked for a more wonderful meal.

We started with the onion tart and the scallop quenelles with caviar. Both were beyond good. My son was in raptures over the tart. Both had the stuffed quail which was fabulous. The fennel and fruit side was soo good and the quail meat and sausage were excellent. We shared a chocolate soufflé for desert and it was the best. Accompanied by a vanilla ice cream nicely garnished with nuts. I started with a glass of sparkling and then had the Sancerre. Excellent evening. We highly recommend.

food was very good, we had onion tart, classic salad, halibut and loup de Mare. All were excellent, finished up with chocolate souffle. Service was quite good, setting beautiful. Very pricey, but in this case worth it.

Far from being good French cooking, Since we live in France abs out 3 or 4 months per year. Over priced and my stomach was quite upset that night...something that rarely happens.

The food was generally heavy and not prepared to the price point. A 125 dry aged steak was tough and flavorless. The menu is overly limited. The desserts, however, were a bright spot. B- not a real recommendation

Our table was right next to the toilette, and it was our anniversary night, I just didnt feel like staying long in that place. I asked for another table, the host was very nice and we had another table further from the bathroom. There should NOT be a table that near the toilette at the first place.
