Tableside pressed duck from the OG pasjoli is back! One pressed duck experience is $350 - you'll enjoy an entire duck transformed into multiple dishes with your very own chef arriving at your table to craft a special sauce from the whole duck. Tableside pressed duck dinners must be reserved ahead of your visit. For larger groups, you are encouraged to order other items from our menu in addition to our duck dinner. We offer an extremely limited number of duck dinners each evening. No substitutions, please. A history of pressed duck: Originating in France and dating back as early as the 1700s, the duck press was intended to showcase the freshness of the duck. Traditionally, whole ducks were roasted rare and pressed with all its organs and blood to create a thick, gamey sauce. You'll enjoy your duck in multiple parts, including the breast, legs, and a special space prepared tableside. A chef will cut a whole duck into parts, place it into our duck press, and “press” the juices from the duck body. These juices are added to duck jus, cognac, and red wine to create a finished sauce for the breasts. The cooked rare duck and organs both thicken the sauce and also help create an unmistakable quality to the finished sauce.
