This is a reliable place to recommend to friends and visitors from out of town. Good food, good service, lovely bar area and a wonderful 7 day happy hour (at the bar).
Price is right. The food was very good. Gluren free options.
We consistently like to go to Pasha for it’s convenient location to Lincoln Center; it’s good quality of food and varied menu; the lovely ambience which makes me feel as if I were in a Turkish home
The price-fixed menu is a very good deal for the heart of NYC
We always feel very welcome when we dine at Pasha
My friend and I had a lovely Sunday lunch at Pasha. We were looking for something different and had never tasted Turkish food. We were not disappointed. The restaurant is very small and cozy and was very quiet, making it great for conversation. The service was attentive but unobtrusive. The food was excellent, especially the stuffed chicken breast and the chocolate cake which was amazingly light and moist.
Great ambiance, good food, fast service. Close to Lincoln theater so walked to the show afterwards
Good food, quiet corner
The food is good, but for the second time the service was unacceptable. The waiter was surly and at times rude. No exceptions to the printed menu possible and when exceptions made done with great difficulty. For example, no tomato sauce was a big problem. Waited a long time for a check.
One of our favorite places on the upper westside. You can have a conversation with friends and enjoy good food and service.
I have eaten at pasha many times and enjoyed it but last night was not good. The dining room was crowded, the waiter was unavailable and unpleasant, the food was less than average and cold and the noise level, usually quiet, was too loud to hear across a table for 4. I hope this was just a bad night for them and not going to continue.
We went to Pasha prior to a Lincoln Center performance . We were served promptly, had nice cocktails, and were not rushed while we decided on our orders. Everything was freshly prepared. The primary drawback was that there was no real flavor profile to the various items we ordered, unlike other Turkish cuisine I’ve had in the past. Not exciting.
I haven’t been to Pasha’s in years. Went there with a group because it’s quiet and we could talk. Food was good- not great. Good service. Would go back again. Nice dining room.
Good place for meeting friends before Lincoln Center. Quiet enough to actually talk! Food is good but perhaps not as good as some other Turkish restaurants on the Westside
We've enjoyed this restaurant in the past but this meal was particularly disappointing. The waiter rather harshly reprimanded me when I ordered the wrong eggplant appetizer (there are 3). I can understand some frustration but his angry affect was stunning. He was curt and barely responsive for the balance of the meal. the meal itself was fair--both pieces of fish (salmon and branzino) were well prepared, but the side vegetables were over-cooked and soggy. I think I'll give this restaurant a rest for awhile.
Lovely place for dinner with friends before Lincoln center performance.
My first time there. Food was very good as was the service and environment. Will go back.
Dinner with a relative of my girlfriend—pleasant dinner—good food, gracious service and a three-course fixed-price dinner until 7:00. The Turkish food was delicious.
I go there often and really enjoy it. Very tasty food. Good ambiance. Reasonable prices.
Love Pasha but don't get into the city often enough to enjoy it frequently. Not an expert on Turkish cooking but everything I've ever had a Pasha is simply delicious. The tiny lamb dumpling, Manti, are not to be missed. Lamb is always good, as are the various chicken dishes, and daily fish. Be sure to order the strong and tasty Turkish syrah. Great staff and very pleasant experience, always.
A lovely, quiet (even when busy) restaurant tucked away on 71st Street just east of Amsterdam Ave. Classic and delicious Mediterranean/Turkish menu with lots of veggie options, delicious lamb and, in general, something for everyone. Interesting wine list.
Not a family/kid place, with a restrained, adult clientele. Perfect for pre or post Lincoln Center events. Friendly and competent service.
Lovely atmosphere and very good food and service to go with it.
This is the first time I've lunched at Pasha. I've had gorgeous dinners there before. It was really pretty empty at lunchtime. We were treated with respect and I do like it very much. The prix fixe lunch is a NYC bargain. Everything was delicious.
Pasha is always good and consistent. Appetizers and desserts are particularly pleasing. Prices are great for the area, and the complete dinner deal on most nights is terrific.
Always reliably great! We love this place, especially pre-concert.
A relaxed and relatively peaceful atmosphere, attentive service, and reliably tasty Turkish standard dishes at good prices make this a pleasant, stress-free place to eat. And you can even hear what others at your table have to say!
A long-time favorite for meeting friends. Comfortable, not noisy, and enough good choices for all tastes and diets.
We visited Pasha for a pre-Opera dinner. The ambience is quite lovely - warm and comfortable, you'd like to sit in the parlor chairs and relax for quite a time. The food was excellent. All of us tried the pri-fixe dinners (pleasantly surprised by the variety offered.) We had trout, Tavuk Gogsu Sarmasi (stuffed chicken) and a lamb dish. All four of us found the dishes outstanding. We all loved the hummus - garlicky and fresh. Dessert choices were included and we all chose baklava. It was wonderful. We do need to make a comment about the service. There were several servers involved in our evening. All but one were friendly and gracious. But one gentleman seemed to be going out of his way to be unpleasant. It was a little disconcerting. I asked for hot tea at the beginning of the meal because I was cold. Later, when we ordered dessert, which came with coffee, I requested coffee. The server said to me that I already had tea why would I need coffee? It was odd and made us all uncomfortable. There were a couple of other remarks along that line. That being said, on our departure, the other servers all said lovely "good nights, thank your for coming," etc. Despite his remarks, we'd highly recommend Pasha if you are looking for Turkish food.
Wonderful Turkish food. The prix fixe is a true bargain with lots of food expertly prepared. I put it high on my list of places near Lincoln Center.
This was a enjoyable evening with fiends. The service was very good and the food excellent. The menu is varied and all of us had a different entre and all were delicious. Pashas is good for any occasion.
Nice peaceful atmosphere. Overall, good food -- the bread was good, the octopus salad and the lamp chops were excellent, though the hummus was a bit wimpy.
Food is always fresh and service is very good
Very professional and well done Turkish west side regular. Great after movie with friends and great prix fix
Visit with granddaughters including an eight year old, who was treating very well by the staff.
This was a wonderfully relaxing dinner before the opera- we had a tasty and interesting meal.
Lovely place. The red lentle soup is excellent. We've been coming for years. Never disappoints
Pasha used to be a favorite haunt for many years, then we drifted for no particular reason. It was nice to return and find it every bit as pleasant as it ever was.
Dinner at Pasha was pre Lincoln Center. They have a great prix fixe menu with appetizer, main course and dessert (available 5PM to 7PM). The portions are huge and there is a big selection.
We've been to Pasha many times and they have never failed us. The menu has a large number of appetizers and entrees to pick from. They always have some very nice specials as well. The assorted appetizer plate with 4 daily items is excellent and great for sharing. The bread is excellent as well. Even the olive oil and olives served with the bread is very fresh and tasty, with the olives being not salty at all.
I've had the lamb osso buco which is huge and excellent. Also the lamb patties are flavorful and tender. Unless you are a very big eater, you will probably take home food.
Overall the experience was five star. Excellent service and food. And even when the restaurant is full, it's still not too loud and you can easily talk to people around your table.
Pasha has been around for a long time. Comfortable ambience, friendly service, large portions.
Excellent choice for Lincoln Center neighborhood. Tasty, varied menu,
Went there twice last week. On Tuesday had a terrific lunch. Took my wife back and thought the food was mediocre at best. Tasteless lamb shank and chicken kabob was really ordinary....sorry to say that, we were so looking forward to the lunch.
What a horrible experience!! We waited 10 minutes before someone met us at the door. In the meantime, a family of 6 people walked out with the kid saying he was hungry and the father saying they would go somewhere else. When we got seated, no one approached our table. 10 minutes went by and I noticed the couple next to us. They had glasses of wine and bread and the lady was saying she had not seen any entrees coming out. At that point I said to my spouse we are leaving. As we walked out there were three other tables just like the one beside us and no food coming out. It was ridiculous!! There were plenty of empty tables so it was not about being too busy. A Friday night and that is how they run a business?!
