Pasha Mezze in Norfolk, Virginia is family owned and operated. This Turkish restaurant has been open since 2003. With a traditional menu, a big premium is placed on using organic ingredients to ensure the food is wholesome and as close to how the original recipe would have been made hundreds of years ago. There are also gluten-free options here like the lentil soup, quinoa cake and grilled salmon skewers.
If you come for brunch at Pasha Mezze, you can enjoy a number of different pastries like the cinnamon roll, potato cake and the Turkish French toast. At lunch or dinner, try the red lentil cake wrap, quinoa cake wrap or the hummus and chicken wrap at Pasha Mezze.
Very nice atmosphere And excellent food !! I like all the different options they had too, it was tough to decide! They didn’t have anymore seating in the front so they asked if we wouldn’t mind be seated in the back
Which I was fine with , we were meeting another couple so why not ? It worked out really nice cause we were the only ones back there and it was easy to make conversation with each other without all the noise from the front of the restaurant , very nice atmosphere
Enjoyed our anniversary at Pasha. Staff was fantastic and food was excellent!
We had a great New Year’s Eve dinner there with great service. Made it to our party on time with full bellies!
Great vegan options, salads are perfect, service was awesome. Loved this restaurant and can't wait to go back!
Terrible we arrived for our reservation and they were closed at 10:00 am on a Saturday
Great find in Norfolk. Our server Samantha was fantastic.
This was our 4-5th visit to this restaurant over the past few years. As usual, we enjoyed the meal and the congenial atmosphere immensely. We will be back!
Delicious food with many healthy choices. Fabulous service. Going for lunch next week!
We were looking forward to a Turkish restaurant while visiting Norfolk recently. But Pasha Mezze was not what we were hoping for. The atmosphere is hopelessly casual, since the first thing you see when entering is their lunch counter and a sign at the counter saying "Order Here." We couldn't tell if they even offered table service in the evening. But they do, and then we got to see the menus. Very little on the menu is actually Turkish, and the dishes we had hoped to see from travels in Turkey were nowhere to be seen. But most importantly, the food we ordered was mediocre at best. Pasha was a big disappointment.
This is a great place for Vegan options. The food was excellent and the staff was very attentive.
Pasha Mezze used to be my go-to for brunch. Absolutely great service and food. I'm not sure what happened to their customer service. I've been going here since 2010 and I used to love coming here when my husband was doing duty in Norfolk but it just feels like the service has gone downhill. The food is still excellent but the service needs to improve some. Also the Turkish coffee is one extremely small espresso cup and half of it is pure grounds!!!
We came here with a larger group family visiting Norfolk as we were looking for something different. They gave us a table in the back that was great for all of us to gather around. The menu wasn't as varied as I had hoped. Portions were quite big and I felt like I had a lot of meat and a lot of rice. If I visited again I would pick some of the appetizer items and sides to create a meal instead. Highlights: The appetizer sampler was very good. The eggplant side was amazing. The walnut side was a sleeper hit! Lowlights: The server was friendly, but not professional. We asked about drink specials as we had caught a glimpse of a chalkboard on the way in. She told us they didn't have any specials, they just put some of their more popular drinks there. Then nothing... no descriptions, no sell, no nothing. Instead of steering a member of the party to a wine she could recommend, she said that the one they asked about was old and not very good and "that's why they're trying to get rid of it." One person ordered soup and barely touched it since they really didn't like it. (Anther person had the same item and liked it.) The server should've followed up and noticed that it wasn't being enjoyed. I know we were 9 people, but they were on the end right next to her usual spot to stand. She routinely auctioned off not only food items, but also drinks. She only has 2 tables, us and a 2 top. She should be able to get the correct glass to the correct person without hollering out the name and looking for someone to claim it.
This is one of my favorite places in Norfolk! The sampler plates and appetizers and fun finger food for everyone. The Lamb was perfect. Finish the night with some baklava and mint tea. Just make sure you pass on the sangria. Opt for a wine or beer instead.
Everything was great but then hair in the food 🤢. Disappointing but our waitress was great Atmosphere was great even good was great until that moment
They 'ran out' of pita. Running out of pita in a Mediterranean-style restaurant? Surprising! I asked for my lamb to be medium, it was more like medium-rare.
