We were truly excited about eating at this restaurant. We made reservations and we were seated right away but the issue was our server was triple set and she was also the bartender so she did the best she could with all she had to do. My husband ordered the fire grill the salmon but it didn't taste the grilled and when my husband said something to the manager he laughed as in knowing that my husband had called it out correctly. I had the fried chicken with mash and Mac and cheese. The food was just ok. The decor and atmosphere was absolutely beautiful but would we eat here again on our next visit to Atlanta? Probably not.
The food & the environment was excellent. The waiter did not refill our glasses , and we only received one serving of cornbread cubes. The waiter did not talk to us at all. We received poor service from the waiter.
The venue itself is very nice, good ambiance. However, the service was very poor. Although we had reservations, we weren’t seated until 30 minutes after our time. The service once we were seated was very slow. We ordered drinks, and it literally took almost an hour to get them - 2 hours for my friend who did not get hers until after her food came. The service for the food was also very slow, and some plates in our party came out slightly cold, I’m guessing because it was sitting there waiting for other plates to be done. Our server did okay, but we felt like she could have been on top of things more. This was during the week, and it wasn’t a busy night at all. The reason I’m giving at least 3 stars though, is because the food itself is actually delicious. If they can get the service part down, it would’ve been great.
Great food, great vibe. My second time here and I've enjoyed it both times!
It was a very trendy restaurant the hostess in the front Shamika or Chiquita she was very friendly and inviting and always dress she was awesome that Fried Chicken was on point yes I will definitely be back there I would definitely go back and take a lot of my friends because the food was good.
Would not honor our open table reservation. We were goi g to wait until a table opened and decided to have a drink at the bar but could not get a bartender to serve us.
The server was new so I'm not going to complain. But what I am going to complain about is you was out of Greens, and Peach Cobbler😡😡😡I don't understand. I came for the Fried chicken, Greens, Mac and cheese, Candice yams and Peach 🍑 cobbler. Very disappointed.
We had a great time. The restaurant accommodated our request to come almost an hour ahead of our reservation, and we only had to wait 5 minutes before being seated. Our server was super friendly and the food was delicious. We really enjoyed the collards, Mac and cheese, and fried okra along with the ribs and fried chicken. No room for dessert.
I loved the ambiance. The servers were polite. The food was ok. Didn't have a lot of flavor to me. I had the catfish etouffee with collard greens and mac/cheese. Expected a cream sauce over catfish, it was gravy with shrimp. Gravy was too salty. The greens was not cooked enough and did not have much seasoning. The mac/cheese was good. Others that were with me had the Seafood Pasta and Fried Chicken which they said was good. For southern food I was not impressed.
Delicious homecooking that is reasonably priced. Too noisy.
The food was good, service was “ok”
So glad I had a chance to finally visit Paschal’s. My entree was shrimp. chicken and Andoulie sausage over pasta in a cream sauce. It was delicious and enough leftovers for lunch the next day. Service was excellent.
It took about 30 plus minutes to get a server to come to our table. We stopped another server but ended up having to go let a hostess know. The venue wasn’t crowded like it usually is.
I love the relaxed feel of this place – like a comfortable dining room in a friends home. I definitely would return to try more dishes. The Chicken dinner was amazing and the Paschals' Tea was refreshing. The table was split on the cornbread – one person thought it was great, but another felt that the tastes didn't quite mesh. Everyone loved the flat open bar. Service was well-timed and friendly, drinks were affordable.
I traveled to Atlanta for my Birthday I initially wanted to go to OLG, but could not get a reservation so I decided to go to Paschals. Our waiter welcomed us warmly but he was mediocre at best. We had to prompt him for refills, our food was brought out in halfs so 1 half of the table ate, while the other side did not. By the time we all were served the food was cold. In the end of our dinner we had to prompt again for a dessert menu. Then we realized we were never offered a drink menu either. Which was on the dessert menu. This was a bad experience!! Oh and stay away from the CHEESE GRITS!! IT HAS NO CHEESE!!
I took international customers to Pascal's as they wanted authentic Southern food. The service was absolutely terrible. The food...fried chicken was good...but not enough so to overcome such horrible service
Great food and service
Though I had a reservation I still had to wait nearly 30 minutes to be seated, though there were several empty tables (there were only 2 in my party). Once seated, we were approached by a server informing us we would have to order our food from the bar so we asked to be moved. During the transition, witnessed hostess arguing with another customer over her reservation. We did not have a designated server, different people kept approaching our table; therefore, we never received our appetizer or additional bread basket. Because the food was exceptional, I will try it again.
Ok so we went twice while we were in town for the Super motor cross event. we stayed in an Airbnb right behind Paschal's so it was super convient and we could walk there in 2 minutes. The first night we got dinner and it was just ok. A bit greasy. First of all our waitress was also the bar tender so we got screwed out of any customer service. It was Friday night so she was very busy at the bar. My husband didn't get his food for about 20 min after me and my son. And he hardly ate any of it because it was pretty greasy and barely warm from it sitting in the back waiting for the waitress/bartender to bring it out. The fried okra and the fried chicken was amazing.
We cam back on our way back home to grab brunch since they had a buffett and it was right there. The brunch is AWESOME way better than the dinner. It was very very busy and a wait but it was worth it. They have an omelet and waffle station that is awesome. I wouldn't come back for dinner but def would for brunch although the brunch is pretty pricey.
We made a reservation for 6 and were not seated until 6:30. The restaurant was not packed and the staff were seen playing multiple times. We had tickets to a show and had to take our food to go. Very frustrating.
The food was great, waitress was attentive and knowledgeable. However the wait to be seated was unacceptable. We made reservation for 5:00 pm. My party of 4 arrived early at 4:20 we checked in with the receptionist. However we did not get seated until 6:00pm. When I shared my experience with someone who had eaten there said they had the same experience.
Great place to eat!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This is our first time visiting this restaurant and I must said, “A” one rating. I am not the easiest person to please and I couldn’t find anything to complain about, that doesn’t happen! The waiter was so professional, knew the menu well, his recommendation was on target. Whom ever made my drink knew their stuff. The hostess was courteous, accommodating and attentive. You have a great staff. My family and I thank you and your staff for a memorable experience and great food. We will be back!🇯🇲👍🏼
Food was delicious and the atmosphere was wonderful. Our server (Steve) was brilliant. If you love Soul Food, Paschal’s is the place.
Very good food! We ordered the chicken dinner and ribs with Mac and cheese collard green and yams....the sides were top notch love that....Hennessy peach punch which was really good....fried green tomatoes were the best I’ve ever tasted and the shrimp skewer was ok but not really worth getting as an appetizer unless you just really love shrimp....great complimentary valet service....we were seated as soon as we came in for our reservation and the service was good and very timely
Great food, nice area, cozy atmosphere, beautiful building
Made a reservation for Valentine's night, everything started out really well. Our fried green tomatoes
(which are delicious)and bar drinks came out fast! After one hour of not receiving our food and fellow patrons that came after us had their food and most had already left. The server would pass by several times to say the food was coming but that's about all! Never asked If we would like another drink. Once the food arrived my Husband couldn't eat his fish and grits due to them tasting burned. When the next platter arrived the cooks placed gumbo on top of the fish and grits. This just wasn't what we expected at all. The server stated they only has two cooks tonight, in which on this particular day I would imagine it should be a all hands on deck! I noticed that the other servers around us had hustle, meanwhile ours just seemed as If she had zero interest in being at work!!!
I will go back any day. I can’t say anything bad about our experience there. Great place if ur in town.
Excellent experience starting with timeliness of reservation seating, waitress service, quality of food and the overall ambiance. We will definitely return.
The food was not worth the money. I was upset that the entree only came with one side. The food definitely did not match the cost. The fried chicken was not tasty and lacked seasoning and the Mac and chz was dry and chewy. I would not return to Paschals.
Excellent food and great customer service!
Great food and drinks!
I think they should consider taking reservations and have a turnover time for tables (1.5-2hrs max that you can sit). For the wait time to get to 2hrs and 15min, that's ridiculous. With only 1 location, it will always be busy, however, the wait times are entirely too long.
The food was great. The waitress was wonderful her name was Talia. It was my first time going and I would definitely be back.
Waited over 90 minutes to eat. Was seated for over an hour after my reservation. Staff didn’t seem to care about the terrible service. I’ll never go back!
Waited 45 minutes even with a reservation and then waited 15 minutes at the table before being seen. The food was good. The famous fried chicken was amazing.
We had a table of 11. Food came out in reasonable time and everyone enjoyed their meal.
Amazing food and exceptional friendly service.
I had my Birthday lunch with about 7 friends and we had an awesome time. The service was good and nice ambiance! The food was filling and delicious. The value for the service and level of food quality was perfect. The restaurant also has free valet which made it so relaxing.
It was our first time visiting, the booth chairs were too low, it was really cold. My broccoli and black eye peas were partiall cold and warm, I was given a hot order and it was much better. My steak was good.
