Paschals is a great restaurant with some of the best fried chicken I have ever eaten. The macaroni was okay but the highlight is the fried chicken. Great ambience excellent customer service
Good soul food, love the ambiance, a little over priced
Very good food me and my son enjoyed the food and very pleased
The hostess wasn't very nice...but our server was excellent!
The food was amazing!! The corn bread just melts in your mouth! Highly recommend!
Food was great
Server was tentative and good customer service
Clean guy was very fast and tentative
Great food, reliabe service
Excellent ambiance with even better food and service.
Very good local food in a historical setting
I ordered the “1947 Fried Chicken,” and it was on point—DELICIOUS, crispy, and SO good!! And our server, Jewel, got everything right!!
All I can say is that today’s dinner reminded me of some of those back when Paschal’s was on Hunter Street—the absolute best in town!!
The food was cold and horrible!! Never going there AGAIN! It’s not allll it’s hyped up to be!! My “soul food” tastes better smh for all that I could have cooked at home!!!
Overall the food was good. Service was a little slow but we did receive our food nice and hot. I would recommend Paschal’s as a place to eat.
Food was delicious but the sever was being over used so therefore we only seen him once during the 3 hours we spent there. We had to constantly ask other people walking pass where he was or to get us something we needed.
We were “staycation” Spring Breaking and decided to go into the city and visit some of the MLK sites. The food was great and the atmosphere was perfect. I can imagine they get a little busy in the evening but this was right at 5 pm so there wasn’t a wait. The fried green tomatoes were great! I had the grilled catfish and shrimp étouffée which was decent as well. My son enjoyed a full rack of ribs and my husband had the fried chicken and they both said it was delicious. All in all, it was a great experience and I will definitely add it to list of some of my favorites in the ATL.
The food was good. But we went during lunch time and we had to grab a waiter after waiting 15 min for someone to come over. On the positive Our waiter was very pleasant and friendly.!
Catfish appetizer was very good as was cornbread ribs of course the fried chicken. The sides were good.
Third time there. Food was awesome. Excellent food because it is served HOT the way food should be served
Slow night and I believe they were understaffed. The food was good though
The Restaurant was having buffet only on Easter and did not have it on their website. Everyone in my group of 4 became ill after leaving the restaurant.
The food was great. I went in for Sunday brunch on Easter Sunday. They could have had turkey greens and maybe more side dishes. Also all the fried chicken were drum sticks :/.
Great Easter Dinner
The food was great. The wait was too long with a reservation.
Great for Sunday Brunch! Sourhern Classic with all the fixins' Resevations are a must!
It was a great experience I appreciate everything from the manager to the servers to the food
The reservations were set for 12 we were seated at 12:45
Great Food even better service! It was great meeting one the original workers who greeted everyone.
I arrived for Easter Sunday brunch to be greeted by the hostess. She seemed to be frazzled yet friendly because of the ongoing traffic in the restaurant. She confirmed our reservation and we were immediately seated. We sat for a short time and were then greeted by our server, Darnell.....what a treat! Darnell was attentive, friendly and very accommodating. The food was excellent and good choices were amazing for meat eaters as well as vegetarian - how thoughtful of the chef to prepare so many dishes to accommodate all!!! My favorite was the candied yams, fried chicken, and even the cabbage (that I'm not supposed to eat but I couldn't help myself). If I had to make a recommendation, I would definitely have to say the dessert choices seemed to be store bought and should've been freshly baked. All in all, it was a beautiful part of Resurrection Sunday for me and mom!!
Was in Atlanta for a basketball tournament and we searched high and low for good food and came upon this let’s just say we were beyond pleased! The catfish is bomb!
The food was amazing! We ordered the fire cracker shrimp for an appetizer. The shrimp had spice to it but the sweet sauce was a great balance between sweet and spicy. The cornbread was so soft and delicious. I ordered the Mediterranean Fish Taco with a side of collard greens. The fish was blackened to perfection and the collards greens had so much flavor. I also had an alcoholic beverage. I do not remember the name of it but it was a great drink. I am definitely making this a must go to spot every time I visit Atlanta.
The gentlemen providing complimentary valet service were polite and prompt. The staff was courteous and attentive to our needs.
The food was cold, the fried chicken seemed to had been cooked earlier in the day.
Two guest had to send their food back, the steak was tough, and the shrimp had shells on them.
I made this Reservation a month ago, and the only reason I chose Paschal's was for the Rosemary Chicken I saw ONLINE, and they had already SOLD OUT of ROSEMARY CHICKEN at 4:30 in the afternoon, and like I stated earlier, the food was HORRIBLE, and the server Kendall was the only thing good from this experience.
Jackie was a wonderful waitress. She was attentive and knowledgable about the menu as well as the restaurant's rich history. The food was delicious. We will defiantly be back.
We waited an hour before we decided to leave because our food still had not come to the table. You ran out of coke. You ran out of dressing. It was my first and last time at that restaurant. I will not recommend anyone to gon there b cute I would never mind any any of my loved ones to have the same experience that I had.
We had a great experience -great service and plenty of delicious food.
Manager did accommodate with drinks and food for two for the bad first time experience.
First time dining at Paschal’s. Appreciated the couple Gary valet. We were seated pretty quickly. Christian was our server and he did a top notch job. The tea was very sweet and our glasses were never too empty. I had the blackened catfish etouffee which had a great sauce with shrimp on top. Cheddar grits as a side and the cornbread. It was delicious, well seasoned and I used the cornbread to enjoy the last bit of sauce left on my plate. I will definitely be recommending and coming back myself.
Took forever for food to come. Two of the three meals came and one guest had to sit and watch us eat. Greens were cold. Manager took 45mins just to come address the situation. several tables wanted to speak to manager about service.
My family and I celebrated my niece birthday Sunday and we heard so many great things about Paschal's Restaurant so we decided to celebrate there. We drove to Atlanta, Ga from Augusta, GA. I made reservations a day prior to our arrival for that reason we did not have any problems getting seated. Our server (Steve or Steven) was mainly our problem. Since it was my family and I first time there, I asked Steve about the history of the restaurant. He did not know very much and mentioned that I could use google. He provided very slow service. We had to ask 4 times for water. Our food came out about 50 minutes after we ordered and only half of our party food came out. The remaining people had to wait an additional 30 minutes. One of my family member order was wrong and he let us know that it was because of his error and he apologized for it. My fried chicken was so greasy, there was grease in my plate. We ordered dessert (peach cobbler and ice cream) our server Steve told us they the kitchen staff may not make it because the restaurant was closing soon. I reminded him that we ordered our dessert at the same time we ordered our dinner. Steve did not remove our empty plates from the table at all. We eventually complained to a manager name Craig. Craig took very good care of us. He apologized for Steve and removed our empty plates. He was very professional and friendly. I really want to visit the restaurant again because of the great food and service my friends had. I just hope that if I do come back, we have better service. Craig made sure we had our peach cobbler and it was delicious!
While I did not enjoy this experience at Paschal's--Famous Chicken was dry, which was very disappointing & my fiancé steak wasn't good (we actually gave it away to a homeless guy who was more than happy to accept!). However, our first time visiting Paschal's the food was amazing--we both ordered the NY Strip that essentially melted in our mouth! Only because of my first experience am I still willing to give Paschal's a good rating, but I hope this was just a fluke. Hopefully, third times a charm! We'll be back. :)
Great soul food restaurant!
Overall the atmosphere and the food was very good. Our waiter could of been more attentive. Had to go find him twice,
