Very good food, reasonable prices, good service.
Food was good but the service was very unorganized. Our waitress was over worked which resulted in our dinner being less than what we hoped for. We cancelled a cocktail , an appetizer and a side dish as they hadn’t appeared and we were 3/4 through our entree. Unfortunately we won’t be returning.

Server was oblivious to our needs. No Appetizer plates, water refills. Lemon wedges for water looked recycled.
We were left unattended for long periods of time...had to get the hostess to go get our server. Sat and waited for service too long after first being seated by hostess. Too loud. Not an enjoyable experience. It's as if service is simply not important
Very nice restaurant and food is very good and the atmosphere is great indoors and outdoors my waiter was very alert answered questions and made sure we were good and taken care of
Not worth the $39.95 we were charged. They served wingettes as to whole pieces of chicken I was expecting!!!
Fathers Day was great. The food was wonderful and the staff was amazing...
The service was terrible for the restaurant not to be busy the waitress we had was to busy rushing to run and speak with her co workers than spending time to check on us and to make sure we were satisfied with our orders. I ordered the catfish entree and the fillet I received was so big that it wasn't cooked all the way. I ate my sides greens and mac and cheese and my wife ordered the chicken dinner her chicken wasn't cooked throughly also. It took us 20 mins to receive our food once our order was placed.and another 15 to find our waitress after we received our food to ask for our check. This was my first time visiting this restaurant and from this experience I will not be returning any time soon

Great food and great atmosphere.
The food was excellent but the staff was not as attentive as most restaurant. We had to ask other staff to help us when someone needed service. Our waiter became MIA after order was placed. When we tried to make eye contact the staff was difficult as they would avoid us. This was a business luncheon with 10 people. Note they had no sugar in packets, they had to bring an open cup from the back.
The restaurant was great. Valet parking is offered, just make sure you tip even though it's complimentary because they do work hard. The restaurant gives you the feel of an upscale restaurant and not a soul food place. The food, oh the food was great. This was the best fried chicken that I've ever had. The only thing that I would change is the service that we got. The waiter was not nasty or rude, it's just that once we got our food he never came back to our table until we were finished eating. We needed refills and we were done eating for at least 15 minutes before he even came back to the table. Other than that, it was a great experience.
I’m from Chicago looking for soul food. This wasn’t authentic drinks were sweet food was bland

Waitress left us waiting for appetizer then had us wait for water!! Food was not what we expected after seeing reviews about how good it was. My first and probably last visit.

Tried Old Lady Gang and was VERY disappointed!! Paschals made up for it, yams awesome, Mac n cheese awesome, catfish awesome, and greens! Great atmosphere!
Waited over an hour after making a reservation. Then another 20 minutes to actually be served. The waiter Zach was very personable but was a terrible waiter. Our drinks were left at the bar for 20 minutes. Had to ask several times for flatware. Never got it. Had to ask 3 different servers for a pen to sign the receipt after having to hunt someone down to get the bill. Bathroom hazard in the mens room toliet leaked all over the floor with no sign for caution. After all this we still paid and tipped, but this was unfortunately our first and last time ever going to this restaurant.
Southern love goes into there food. I enjoyed everything I ate very good!
I've been to Paschal's off and on for several years for brunch/dinner with friends or for post-graduation parties. Today, I brought along several colleagues for a business lunch following a meeting at one of the nearby colleges. I was a bit worried about spotty service and possible long wait times, which I've experienced in the past. But today, everything was perfect! The service was great. Our server was extremely attentive and helpful. We had a reservation for 11:00, our group was the first to arrive that day; no wait for seating at all. This was the first visit for my colleagues and I was proud to share a bit of the West End flavor with them. As usual the chicken was hot, well-seasoned, and tasty.
It was not crowded when we arrived, but the receiving area became congested and noisy as we waited to be seated. It was hard to hear our name when our party was called. The food was delicious and there was plenty to choose from. Our waiter, Eli, was very efficient and accommodating. However, the seats were too low and it was difficult getting in and out of our booth. Firmer and higher seats would have been better. My mother didn't want to complain so the waiter didn't about our seats. Overall we enjoyed our brunch and we'll be back again!
Kept running out of food
The Mothers Day Brunch was disappointing. Not the Paschal’s I know and love.
If I could rate my experience less I really would. Everything seemed to have been running smooth until it was actually time to start seating the 2pm reservation guest. My family and I arrived at the restaurant around 130pm, we knew we had to wait until 2pm to be seated which was fine. So at 2pm the hostess started to call the "smaller parties " first or so I thought they were. Needless to say we were told after 30 min of extra waiting that we would still have to wait for the upstairs to be cleared, all while they were seating people up stairs. Fastforward to we finally getting a seat at almost 3pm, only to not have a server and there was no food upstairs to accommodate the people that was seated in that area. When they finally brought food, it was gone so quickly because everyone was waiting that some people still didnt get any. A server finally came to our table but it took him forever to bring the drinks ( im not blaming him). The chef cooking the omelets sweat was fall in the food, the downstairs had options on their buffett that the upstairs did not have, the hostess during check in seemed to be nervous, confused and just out of it. Overall the resturant could not handle that type of volume on a holiday and should reconsider their strategy when it comes to serving on Holidays. My Morher's Day meal was ruined, we paid for an over priced buffett only go home just as hungry as we arrived. That was my first time and my last time patronizing this resturant.
Food was very good. It was Mother’s Day so was very crowded. Took a while to get our drinks and buffet kept running out of food. Overall we had a pretty good time because the food was really good once they replenished the buffet.
Mother's Day, had reservation for 12. The wait wasn't long once your name was given. The live singer was a LITTLE TO LOUD with all the people in the restaurant. It made it difficult just to hear each other. That part could have been left out. Overall it was nice.
This visit was just bad. We had a 12 noon reservation but we were not seated until 12:30. Once we were seated, no wait staff came to the table for 15-20 minutes. This was a Mother's Day buffet (40.00 per person) After the wait staff arrived, we requested water but her main speech was to advise us that we only had 1.5 hours at eat. The wait staff arrived with the water after 2 more request for the water. Also after being seated, we also went to the bar to order drinks. (4 times) We needed more water so we flagged down a passing busboy and asked him to bring us a pitcher of water. HE ALSO STARTED TO REMOVE THE DIRTY PLATES FROM THE TABLE AND HE ALSO REFILLED THE WATER PITCHER. The next time wait staff stopped by was when she brought us our check. THERE NEEDS TO BE SOME MAJOR TRAINING TAKING PLACE. Loved your food but I just can't return anytime soon. PLEASE TRY AND FIX SOME OF THE ABOVE PROBLEMS.

Where to begin..
I was at Paschal's for Mother's Day. I was really expecting Paschal's to offer its absolute best for all of the wonderful mother's that would be dining with them. I had a reservation for a table of 10. I feel like Paschal's dropped the ball on this one, the ambiance felt really cheap, the food was really cheap and basic. I expected them to really go big for a day as special as Mother's day, especially since it was $39.99 per person with a full fee charge for every person who didn't show up for the reservation. The menu.. Fried chicken wings, yes WINGS.. Blackened Tilapia (the cheapest fish on the market) Mac n'cheese, Greens etc... There was a omelette/waffle station. There was no carving station. There were many moments when the guests were waiting for long periods time on a refresh of the food on the buffet, and after about an hour it felt like those refreshes weren't happening at all. A lot of the food was over cooked. I could go on about how CHEAP the entire experience felt but I think I've made that point.
There are many other brunch/buffet style restaurants in the Atlanta area that I've been to before on special occasions that I'd recommend... Copelands, Rays on the River, Chateau Elan, etc
I wouldn't recommend Paschal's to anyone. I think I could've got a better experience at Golden Corral.
Simply put, if Paschal's was not prepared to join the circuit of great brunch/buffet style restaurants to enjoy a meal on a special day such as Mother's day etc, they should not have presented themselves as such a restaurant. Previous to my experience at Paschal's I had heard really great things about the restaurant, this was my first time at the restaurant and will more than likely be the last time.
Mother’s Day brunch for $39.99. Soft drinks and coffee NOT included. We got there at 10:00AM for our 10:00AM reservation. Was seated in the door at 10:30. Then they overbooked and we were put in a banquet room next to this kitchen door that slammed constantly. No bacon for 40 minutes. Sodas were flat and had to be sent back. Other buffet food was mediocre. Could have gone to Golden Corral for $18 a piece.
Mother’s Day brunch was delicious! Much better system having reservations only. We were seated within a few minutes and received excellent service throughout our meal.
Everything was awesome! My mom and sister had never been here and they enjoyed it to the fullest although my mom said it was too loud. The food was amazing and the server was very sweet.
My first time eating at Paschal in years and I must say that I really enjoyed it me took my husband and he enjoyed eating at Paschal it was a frist for him and can't wait to go back

I thoroughly enjoyed dining at Paschal's. The restaurant and its owners had a storied history in Atlanta and as part of the Civil Rights movement. The food was delicious. And I look forward to a return visit in the near future.
Service was a little slow but the food was worth the wait. The hostess could use some training because she completely ignored my request for seating. I am training my child to sit at the dinner table in a booster seat, which is what I requested. She completely ignored me, grabbed a high chair like she knows what’s best. I wanted to complain to the manager about her disregard of my request but my husband asked me not too. The service from the waiter and another gentleman made our experience so much better.
They waited til about an hr before we got there to tell us, that we couldn’t get reservations until 5 . Due to the fact the schedule change, we were on a time schedule because I rented a party bus. And to turn around and pay $100 dollars due to going off schedule with the restaurant
