The Greek salad was excellent as was the moussaka. Pars never disappoints. Also, try the house made Persian ice cream. It’s terrific.
The food was typical Persian/Mediterranean and very good and healthful. We were hoping for a peaceful dinner and so didn't expect the Belly Dancer and accompanying music.
Excellent food. My family is vegetarian and there were many options for them to eat including a Mediterranean sample plate that was delicious. Great Greek salads, excellent rice.
Delicious food, the service was OK, but worth eating here, definitely.
Will be back!! Great atmosphere and service really enjoyed it
Amazing Mediterranean food, freshly made. Great service and a wide selection of drinks.
DELICIOUS FOOD! Music too loud before belly dancer goes out. Nice Mediterranean ambience. Prices not competitive enough.
Was a good experience belly dancers were not there as advertised
The food was very good, and the service was great. I had the chicken kabob which was tasty. The game hen my girlfriend got was even better.
Exceptional vegetarian food ( not sure how the meat dishes taste). Great middle eastern dishes...great friendly service...nice quiet atmosphere...dancers add to the atmosphere.
Great Persian food at a good price
They also have wonderful belly dancing several nights of the year
Had dinner with some dear friends and we are able to relax, eat delicious food, and have excellent service. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming and the servers were top notch!
The lamb kebab was very tough. Everything was tasty. Way too much rice (use smaller plates).
Excellent food and outstanding service. Our server Elmer was extremely knowledgeable and attentive.
The evening was lovely, the atmosphere and service was great, but the food wasn't as good as it normally is.
My favorite restaurant in Albuquerque. The food is fabulous.
My wife and I always enjoy Pars, so on this occasion we asked 6 friends to join us for lunch. None of our friends had dined at Pars before, and everyone enjoyed there experience. The service was excellent, food was delicious, and the quantity was plentiful.
One of my fav's
Food was dissapointing, basmati rice and ground chicken kebabs, bland in flavor. Service was ok, I had 2 older children with me, not attemptive.
The belly dancer really good. That was the only highlight.
Staff was very attentive and prompt! The timing of the food was great!! The food was very flavorful!! Great atmosphere!!
We could have chosen any number of top rated, well reviewed, farm to table, seared duck breast with cabernet sage pan sauce all we wanted. Fabled steak house. Upscale New Mexican. Instead we chose Pars Cuisine for it's Persian Menu and Bellydancing! These places can sometimes be schlocky with food and dancing at or below average. Based on reviews of food and service, we decided to take a chance. It was just what we wanted. Authentic cuisine. Kebabs, meat and vegetable stews, lots of different rice preparations, etc. And classy authentic dancing. Nice to go to a place that is well established and clearly not resting on it's laurels.
Excellent Persian food and superb service by Tristan for our business meeting.
The moussaka, which is usually excellent, was very dry, especially the top layer. Hope this is an aberration.
Pars Cuisine has a perfect location tucked in off 25th way between two hotels and near other restaurants. Staff was friendly, seating options included regular tables or traditional low tables (fun but made husband grumble)- food was tasty, portions were more than generous and inexpensive. The appetizer sampler was actually enough for a light dinner for two. The gyros my husband opted for came with a large Greek salad and my falafel entree came with large Greek salad and rice. Unfortunately then to full to try the Persian dessert or a bit of baklava. Plan to start with dessert on next visit there
Lovely business meal where everyone thoroughly enjoyed their delicious entrees and soups. The service was commendable!
Wonderful birthday lunch that included great kabobs and superior service.
We were a group of four and ordered the Pars kebabs - 5 different types - as well as the Mezza plate. We expected to have leftovers and ate it all - the lamb kebab was the least favorite of the five but was still quite good. The Persian rice with barberry’s was excellent.
Excellent tabbouleh! Lamb kabobs are outstanding and the service warm and efficient. Highly recommend for Mediterranean and Pasrsian cuisine.
Consistently good and authentic Mediterranean food.
We went for Valentine's and it was very nice. The food was delicious and the belly dancers were entertaining.
The restaurant did not honor our OpenTable reservation even though I followed it up with a call. Don't bother using Open Table.
We had a lot of fun here for Valentine's day dinner. We had the fixed menu of three courses and each course had enough choice for any person. The pomegranate champagne was memorable. The food is always fantastic here and of very good quality. The belly dancers were here also. We would eat here again for special date nights or even for lunch because prices are quite reasonable.
Excellent Middle Eastern Food! Service a bit slow but good when we got the waiter's attention.
Exotic environment and very bountiful menu.
Great meal and the service by Tristan was outstanding!
I’ve been anticipating the trip to this restaurant for ages. What a disappointment. The food was bland, the meat portions were tiny and there was so much rice on the plate to make up for it. And it wasn’t cheap. $20 for prime rib kebabs which ended up being four little slivers of meat. I just had a gyro and it was tasteless.
After seating us, no one came to our table for 20+ minutes. We finally flagged down a bus boy to ask for help finding our waiter. More than 5 minutes later our waiter shows up, apologetic but also telling us we'll need to be patient given how busy they were. It took another 10 minutes to get the water we ordered to drink and another 10 to get the bread he said he'd bring over. We ordered falafel to start - wasn't good at all. We ordered chicken and beef kabobs for dinner which was tasty. It took us 25 minutes after finishing our meal to flag down our waiter to get our bill. Needless to say I paid cash because I was scared he would disappear again for a long time with my credit card. We were at the restaurant for two hours. The belly dance entertainment was fun - we enjoyed watching some kids who were mesmerized by the dancer. She was really sweet with them - teaching them how she balances a sword on her head and not minding when they followed her around. Unfortunately we were not impressed overall given the service problems. I hope this wasn't a typical experience there but our waiter seemed to be assigned tables in multiple rooms and was unconcerned about ours.
Very pleasant experience for an I prompt New Years Eve early dinner. Delicious appetizers, very good entrees, exceptional dessert, first class service, loved the belly dancers and the decor. We are new in town and knew nothing about Pars before spontaneously choosing it for our early evening celebration on NY Eve. Will definitely return.
Great fun and good food! My husband and I both ordered kababs. We loved the dancing which is a plus on Friday and Saturday nights. Thank you, Pars Cuisine!
The food was delicious and was everything I expected from Mediterranean cuisine. When I was
asked where I wanted to eat that day, Pars was on the top of my list. I'm on the Mediterranean diet for health reasons, I have been wanting to introduce my family to it. They were very impressed by my choice and they raved about it all the way home. The ambiance and the music was very nice, in fact I really enjoyed listening to the music.
Your Dolmas are better than those I tried at a local grocery store and the falafel and spanakopita were quite tasty. To top off such a delicious meal there was a baklava with a candle on it, it was super good. Thank you for such an enjoyable evening.
