So, we've been coming to Punta Mita since 2007, and this location where Parrotfish resides has seen many incarnations through the years. But we have now tried Parrotfish during both of our past two visits, and it has earned the right to be included in the regular annual line up. Parrotfish is creative, inventive and fun. It is also a very good price/value. The sushi offerings were fresh and delicious, but there are numerous other non-fish dishes to choose from, and we were quite satisfied with all that we tried. Additionally, their cocktail menu is first class, with show stopper selections and creative presentations, each at a price point that is well below that of their peers. Bottom line, there are many, many terrific restaurants to enjoy beyond the gates in Punta Mita, but we have absolutely added Parrotfish to our list. It was a fun, tasty night of food and drink. Our favorite restaurant in the north Bay Area! The food is unique (and delicious) and the staff is warm and personable.

We visit the area a couple of times per year and always make Parrotfish part of our vacation. Wonderfully innovative food, great staff and great ambience. My only gripe is that they have Casa Madero wines on the wine list but on our last 3 visits they never actually have a bottle. 2V is one of my favourites so please keep in stock!

Loved the food & service! Everything from drinks, food, dessert was delicious. So glad we tried this place in town, honestly better than a lot of the high priced resort restaurants.

Let me start with the positive. Our server was friendly and gracious. Also, if you like good, interesting cocktails at a reasonable price, this is the spot. Stop there and move on to somewhere else to eat. To be fair, we didn’t try the sushi. We did note that everyone else there had sushi and perhaps that should have been a sign. Unfortunately, our food was NOT good. The crab Mac & cheese was like Kraft made from the box. The edamame was overcooked. The Asian fusion take on carnitas was an unflavorful meat pie. We went home and had a PBJ sandwich. Worst food experience we have ever had in Mexico in 30 years of traveling here.

A beautiful dining experience -lovely servers and exquisite food. Emilio helped us pick the wine and it was a 10/10! We will make sure we aren't seated right next to tables with loud people next time.

First of all I want to say I never left reviews for any place. I always say I’m going to but never did. We got sick of the hotel food so we adventured out. This restaurant was just perfect from service to ambiance. The food was better than I expected but I want to talk about service. My server Fabian was so accommodating. I have a 4 year old Picky eater. They made a special dish even he ate. (He licked his plate which was surprising to me.) let me tell you also about Emilio. He was amazing. Made my kid feel so at home. They both went above and beyond my expectation. Must go!! Say hi to these beautiful people.
