Great pizza, fantastic breadsticks, friendly service, and best bourbon list in Louisville.
Friendly attentive service, great draft beer selection and good food!
Nice restaurant but ran out of food my lady and I had a drink and went some where else to eat..
WE loved the Pizza and the beer selection was fitting. I would go there again
Excellent pizza. Went to watch NFL games but they only had 4 TVs. They do have Sunday Ticket though so that was good. Good Sunday happy hour prices on beer, as well.
Our new favorite pizza place. We love the patio and will visit even in the winter, bundled up and warmed by the heat lamps. We are looking forward to more fun times and great food at Parlour on Frankfort Ave. Welcome to the neighborhood.
Great bourbon and great pizza. Loved the live music.
Excellent cauliflower crust! Fast and friendly service. We enjoyed the wings too, nice size and flavorful, we had the sauce in the side.
Petar was great!
We came on what seemed like a slow day. We were served well and the food was excellent.
Food was very good. We are regulars at the Jeff location too! They are definitely still getting the service together. Will be back, and hope they can bring it like the other location does!
Brittany F. took great care of my girlfriend and I. She was very knowledgeable about the menu and very attentive. The wings, breadsticks and pizza were fantastic!
The space is great. Great outdoor space. Food not so great. Pizza was OK, but our salads were awful. The lettuce was very wilted and old. They should not have served the salads.
We had a fantastic experience! We were met by two great hostesses, you could tell they were happy to see us even behind their masks! There were six of us inside, tables were socially distanced and the atmosphere was very enjoyable. The fried cod was absolutely out of this world! Others had the special which was a delicious ribeye which they raved about, the chicken sandwich with pimento cheese-yum, soup and fried green tomatoes. Our server was very friendly. We also recommend the old fashioneds and we had some great IPA's on tap. We look forward to returning soon! 5 star!
My wife and I have been coming here for years. Everything about Craft House from the food to the service has always been outstanding. This was our third visit since the management change. It has not been the same. Service was understandably slower with the current pandemic and that was fine. The new shrimp and grits is nothing like the previous, which was the best I've ever had. But what I've noticed more than anything is the portion change. What used to be regular size portions now look like something off of a kid's menu. The cheese curds went from a basket to 6 or 7 on a small plate. The biscuits and gravy had a few tablespoons of gravy which was extremely underportioned for the size of the biscuits. There is no doubt that there is an effort to put out smaller portions, all while keeping the same pricing. I've seen it with everything I've ordered. I don't feel like it's because of the pandemic as much as it is the management change. We would be fine with some higher menu prices with everything that has happened this year - we love to support local restaurants. Just keep the plates going out that have generated all of the regular business in the first place. Rationing the portions doesn't seem like the best way to change your bottom line.
Craft House is one of my favorite go-to’s in Louisville! Whether it is a date night, get-together with friends, celebration or business dinner, it is the perfect spot. Amazing food, cocktail + beer list and the service is always spectacular. Highly recommend!
Good food, good service, and in a great area! Will return.
Great place ! Love the outdoor space and they let you make a reservation. Live music was very nice
Great food and atmosphere. Service was very slow due to burger week, but still a good experience overall
Great dinner on the patio. We were even able to get a reservation. entertainment was a bonus. Maria was a good server.
Sat in the back patio. It was under a nice tent so we got to enjoy being outside even during the rain. Service was a little slower but during COVID I understood why this may happen. Food was very good!
Overall good experience. Great beer selection. The food menu seemed to be lacking though the food in the menu was good. Was in the mood for a burger on my order and there weren’t good side options. Fingerling potatoes that weren’t very good instead of fries. My wife also wanted a salad and fries but fries werent an option. For a place like this fries need to be available.
My mom’s birthday.
We had a great time.
We will go again.
Mask, spacing, customer service, food, great! Keep up the great work.
Stopped in for brunch. Sat at the bar. Good social distancing. The mimosas were delish as usual. Glad to have them in the neighborhood!
Hamburgers and mac-n-cheese are amazing. Old fashion best in Louisville. Give this place a try!!!!
Until their full menu is up and running I wouldn’t recommend right now.
Great place food was great
Started with cocktails and a wonderful hot pretzel. Wife had shrimp and grits while I had steak and eggs. Meal was excellent. Recommend this spot and ask for Courtney.
Service was great. Easy to get in. Ambiance great.
Everyone’s meal at the table was subpar. Shrimp and grits were $22 and it consisted of about a half cup of grits in a weird runny cheese sauce and some shrimp. The sausage was cut paper thin and only had a few pieces in the bowl. Both turkey sandwiches arrived and looked sloppy and not well assembled. Beer selection was excellent though but the mixed drinks were horrible and the quality of a college bar. This place used to be really good but times have changed.
We made a reservation for 7:15 pm, and arrived at 6:55 pm, thinking if we were early and got a table great, or if we had to wait at the bar, no big deal. We asked for a booth when we arrived, and we were told we would have to wait for our table reservation (and now booth) to be cleaned off, and we could wait at the bar. So we did. And we waited. And waited. And waited. Two to three couples...COUPLES... who presumably didn’t have reservations were seated at 4-person booths and tables before we were ever checked on. Yes, CHECKED ON. When we went to ask about our table (at 7:15 after the third couple had been seated before us), we were told we’d have to wait a little longer. At 7:25, when there was still no table “ready” for us after checking with the hostess, we told her and the bartenders we’d just as soon order and eat at the bar since clearly we weren’t getting anywhere and just wanted to eat, as we were really hungry and just needed to get home to a dog who needed medication at a specific time. It took another 15 minutes to even place our food order, at this point 45 minutes past our arrival time, and did so as soon as we could get a bartender’s attention, which was also quite a process. Once finally placed, food took forever to get to us, and we weren’t asked about having our water or drinks refreshed the entire seating, and when our food finally arrived, it was cold, and subpar AT BEST. We have LOVED crescent hill craft house in the past, and loved the fresh, local, constantly-changing items on the menu. But after learning that ownership had changed recently, and that this has sort of been status-quo since the change, we decided we will not be visiting this establishment again. We were sorely disappointed in our experience, when we never had been before, and even more disappointed at our $78 dollar check (two beers, pasta dish, Brussels sprouts side, and poutine- all subpar and not fresh tasting). Our friends that were with us agreed. We do not recommend CH CH.
Very disappointed with the quality of the food. Tur-chee sandwich had very little turkey, very little cheese, and no tomato. My husband got a sampling of the tacos. They were average. Good location and ambiance. Hope the food gets better.
Had a reservation but still had to wait for 20 minute until table was ready. Server was nice but extremely slow and we would not see here often. Food took over one hour to arrive after ordering. Hamburger was well done when ordered medium.
Will go back and give it a second chance b/c it is a cool bar in an up and coming area.
Check out my Yelp review. Not up to mine nor anyone else’s standards unless they want mediocre food, cheap ingredients, and slow service.
Had a 6:45 reservation. After inquiring twice starting at 7:15, we were told “people just aren’t leaving “. No apologies. Finally they asked if they could split our party of 7 into two tables of 3 and 4, not even seated next to each other. We said no. Finally lucked out when two four tops left at the same time and we asked “why not push those two together?” They did and we were seated an hour or more after reservation. Manager came to our table and was fairly unfriendly. Our drinks were wrong. Dinner was fine. We won’t we back!
Great neighborhood restaurant 10min drive from downtown.
From the hostess greeting throughout our meal, this was a stellar experience. Meal started with the delicious, spice rubbed wings. Entrees were provided with appropriate time to enjoy the wings. Strong recommendation for the Turk-Chee sandwich, bacon mac-n-cheese and the cheese grits we enjoyed during this visit. Big props to our server Maria, who made the experience even more enjoyable.
