   Great service, better drinks. We arrived with our party were seated almost immediately, and we’re able to get food and drinks quite quickly. Great experience!

   Pleasantly surprised able to get in and out in time for our show.Pastas, salad and meatballs were good. Reasonable priced.

   The host was great! We had a reservation and the only table open was right by the door. He sat us there temporarily and then moved us as soon as a booth opened up. That shows real consideration. But the server?!? Oy. Boyfriend asks, “Are these mocktails” regarding their Zero-proof cocktails. She seemed unsure and said, “um… similar. I mean, they have no alcohol.” 😂 I have allergies and asked that the broccoli I ordered be made with only olive oil, butter and garlic. No Chile flakes or onions. Nothing spicy or acidic. She DID put the chili flakes and onions on the side, but there was still something super spicy in the dish. I asked if there was tomato or onions on one of the pizzas and she said, “hmmm, I don’t think so, no.” Not super reassuring when you’ve got dietary restrictions. The service overall was SLOW! True, they were very busy. But she never came back to check on us after our food arrived. And when we finally saw her (and asked for more water for my tea and the table) she never refilled the table water. Then she dropped the check and never came to pick it up. We watched her standing at the bar visiting with people while we sat wondering if (after 20 minutes of this) we should just walk out?!? Of course we got up and handed it to her. No apology from her. I usually love Parlour and have gotten good service in the past. This gal obviously didn’t know what she was doing. Perhaps it’s just a part of a general trend of tanking service here in the Bay. 🤷‍♀️ As someone who worked in hospitality (and waited tables) for 30+ years, it’s hard to see. Do better, Parlour, or I’ll be afraid to come back. I was embarrassed in front of our friends for recommending the place after this poor showing. And it was their first time. I seriously doubt they’ll be back.

   Food was just fair. - Pizza tasted good but had a limp crust with little chew to it. - Rigatoni was overcooked to the point of being almost waterlogged. - Caesar salad tasted good but was very overdressed. Service was friendly but easily flummoxed by basic questions ("what gin do you have?").

   Food and wine were wonderful! Excellent brussel sprouts. Service was efficient, waiter was just low on smiles or fun. Host was great. Nice, casual atmosphere. Would definitely go back.

   Food and cocktails were both outstanding and complex in flavor. Our server was a little absent but luckily they seem to work as a team and we were covered by other employees. Highly recommend!

   The arancini and gnocchi were fantastic! I will definitely be coming back for the pizza next time.

   The ambiance and the service are on point, but the real show stopper is the cuisine! The executive chef stopped by our table to share how she used simple culinary ingredients to make such tasty dishes. The outstanding dish for me was the brussels sprouts. The lemony, crispy texture was the best I’ve ever eaten. The menu is going to change incorporating new seasonal ingredients. I cannot wait to check out what delicious morsels are about to come!

   super cute place, great food but boy was the service lacking. our waiting seemed very absentminded and forgot us. every time he said he'd be back with something we had to ask someone else for it to get it to us. Probably just an off night. but we did enjoy it.

    New to Oakland and this was a great discovery, the menu is limited, lots of pizza choices though and it seemed popular, but we did main courses and they were really well done, the octopus was especially good, actually it was perfect, woody taste, not chewy and presentation was great, Mussel broth was extra special too. Drinks were very nice, inventive but not over done with ingredients, looking to come back
