Husband-and-wife co-owners Michael & Susy Glick welcome you to their contemporary steak & seafood restaurant. Conveniently located only two blocks from the 92nd Street Y, Parlor Steak & Fish features the type of elegant, stylish interior that Upper East Side residents have long desired in their neighborhood. Both the restaurant’s menu and its décor appeal to a broad range of diners: from young couples meeting for a drink and solo guests grabbing a casual dinner at the bar, to foursomes and business diners looking for a delicious meal in an attractive setting. Parlor's menu offers items at many price points and encompasses both steakhouse classics and a wide range of creative preparations, particularly seafood dishes, courtesy of Executive Chef Carlos Manansala. What’s more, Parlor features a 40-seat private event room downstairs that includes its own bar and a working fireplace. We look forward to seeing you soon.

Always a great experience here - from the bar to the service to the food, the parlor always exceeds expectations. A neighborhood gem indeed...

We wanted quality food and drinks, at a nice restaurant where we could chat easily. This was the perfect place for all these things - wonderful waitstaff and experience.

It is a shame to see this place closing, victim of some landlord speculation. Hope to see this team back soon in some new place. Best restaurant in the area

The food, from appetizers through dessert, was excellent - as it always is. My only criticism is that it took a little bit longer for us to get our food than we would have liked; the kitchen was a bit slow on Monday evening.

Had an amazing dinner!!! Waitress Gabriella was excellent, very attentive and helpful. She had our steak sliced for us without having to ask which was a wonderful surprise. Hostess Josie had our table ready and was able to accommodate our request. Wonderful dining experience!

My wife and I enjoyed the fresh food; oysters, grilled fish, lush salad, excellent wine, delicious digestives! The service was really good, we will most likely go back and enjoy this place!

So sad to hear you're closing its one of the only two great restaurants in the neighborhood I will miss it terribly!
The writing room is ok but not as good or classy as parlor

Its a big loss!

I made reservations for a party of 4 as a treat to them. They were told they had no reservations. Altho they were given a table , it out them in an awkward situation. I had to apologize to them. I will not book here again

This is our go to place when on the Upper East side. The food and service are top notch and never disappoint. We always have the oysters which are fresh and served nicely. We tried the shrimp sushi and it was very good. We always have the filet mignon and was served as we asked: medium rare. The crime brûlée was delightful. Another really lovely dinner!

I think this is the best sports bar in New York city. It is light and bright and clean. The food is delicious and the brunch deal is attractive

The menu was limited and unimaginative - and WAY too expensive for what was being offered. My wife's Atlantic Salmon was approximately 1 inch wide, which is basically a sliver. Twelve ounce steaks were priced at what other quality restaurants charge for 16 oz. It makes a difference when you get 2/3 of an order and pay for more than a full order on everything on the menu. The Hamachi tuna appetizer was pathetically skimpy. My guess is, the landlord is charging too much rent and the restaurant needs to skimp on food costs while passing it on to their customers. I recall them being much busier also.
