Parlor Pizza Bar - Wicker Park
We do NOT take reservations for outdoor seating. Seating is available for the patio on a first come, first serve basis.
We do not allow ANY outside food or drink in the restaurant.
Dress code enforced beginning at 5 PM, daily: NO over-sized clothing or workout attire.
We reserved a table for ten people and as soon as we checked in they seated us super fast! We still waited for a couple of people from our group but the waitress was very attentive throughout the night. Super friendly service. The food was incredibly good! We ordered the nachos and the fries for appetizers. the honey mustard was soo good. And the pizzas.... oh my, delicious.
Server was very rude and inattentive. She then made a very big deal when two of us asked to separate our food off the bill so the remainder of the party who only got drinks didn’t have to pay for it.
Great time overpriced
Ellie was great
Waitress was rude. Dropped off the check for us before even asking if we wanted dessert or anything else. Never came to check on us. Never filled our waters.
Service was bad , not cleaning tables on time , not filling water , not asking do we want desserts. And then we see on the bill automatic 18% service charge . Food was excellent and taste great. Next time i will try different location.
Great patio, food and service
They helped me celebrate my birthday!
Great place for a large group of people! Great pizza and very fun cocktails. Beautiful when the patio is open and it's a nice day out. Very big place but always make a reservation when it's nice out.
Parlor Pizza Bar is a fun place to go. The pizzas are quite good and creative. Service is good, too.
It's great for groups and the outdoor area is quite nice.
Good for kids because it’s loud and spacious with a good kid pizza option not on menu.
The food here is so yummy!
Parlor Pizza is always delicious. Service is great. The ambiance is fun!
Poor grades are because we made a reservation, and explicitly noted on the reservation it was for outdoor seating.
When we arrived (10 minutes in advance of reservation time), we were told that reservations were for indoor seating only, and it would be 35-45 minutes for an outdoor table.
That was not stated anywhere in the reservation system...
I love their style of pizza. The spaces are huge and can get quite loud, but it was pretty tame when we went during the week. The pizza toppings are unique and also traditional. Everything I’ve tried I’ve liked.
Fried and grilled calamari! Antipasto salad, caesar salad, margherita pizza, honey boo boo pizza, burrata and meat pizzas, too! Marta was a wonderful server for our large group, including grandparents. Food was amazing, as always, and can't wait to go back.
Carmelo Anthony.....amazing and we usually don't have dessert
Very loud, so prepare to speak up. Also very dark.
great place and best ambience. we celebrated my daughters 14th birthday here with 8 girls. immediately almost every person i encountered had a lot of attitude towards us. first when i called earlier that day to see if we can sit outside, when we arrived, the hostess stand, and our waitress. our waitress seemed bothered and annoyed with every request. water and napkin request is not a big deal. the guys that brought our our food were the nicest. we were first seated outside at the table that is immediately next to the bar. the adults at the table next to us were so drunk and they kept knocking stools over that almost hit the girls a few times. they were loud and obnoxious, which is fine, but i asked to be moved to a different table because didn't think this would be the best experience for the girls. i realize this is a bar, but the restaurant, at 5pm , should be accommodating to all guests, without attitude. the hostess rolled her eyes so much when i asked for the change.
the girls had the best time, the food and atmosphere was perfect. great place, just wish the staff didn't have to be so extremely rude.
Wide variety of pizza options. The pizza bread appetizer is very good too (6 of us shared one and it was enough)
tasty and good service!
Had a great time!
One of the best pizza places in Chicago! Hands down one of my all time favorite places to go!
The service is not great. At all.
Bachelorette fun day in the city!
Great food for a sports bar / pizza place. Healthy options we tried included excellent goat cheese and beet salad, hummus, avocado toast. Great outdoor and semi-outdoor (large open windows) seating when the weather is nice.
We live in the neighborhood so frequent Parlor quite a bit. The service is always great even when they are busy, the food is good - I especially love their fried calamari and great drink choices
Fast seating, great service, delicious food, and awesome location. Couldn’t have been a better experience!
Everything was amazing. The food, the drinks, the service, the atmosphere. Loved it!!
love it! :) keep up the great work! i've told and will keep telling people about Parlor!
Great outside patio. Not so great patio if you have young children. Their policy is no strollers on the patio, which is not consistently enforced. But we were some of the unlucky that were not allowed to bring our stroller onto the patio. When I spoke to the staff to confirm our reservation, they said they had stands for car seats and bassinets. Turns out these stands are only for car seats. We had to put our baby’s bassinet on two chairs, which was not safe and distracting the whole time. Also the stroller park out front is literally a free for all on the street for whomever wants to grab something. I’m surprised there hasn’t been more theft. Sure we could have eaten inside, but then would prefer going to Piece or another spot for pizza. Better food and value.
Food and waitress was fabulous.
Hosted a teen bday party & this is a great venue for such an occasion. Fun, rustic, open, popular vibe. We had reservations and were seated right away. Everyone enjoyed their food (pizzas) but of course the dessert tacos are always the main hit! Definitely recommend.
I hosted a brunch for a group of friends who all hadn't met one another, so this was a great spot to meet up & have a blast over brunch. We indulged in the birthday cake waffle & nitro coffee to kick things off, had an appetizer of brussel sprouts , & the menu covered a wide array of dietary needs.
Service was okay. Despite a reservation we waited 20 minutes. We had little kids and a great grandmother. They did not have a comfortable place to wait. I was called three times to confirm my reservation. They kept calling despite my first conversation with confirmation. I booked it as a birthday. I told the waitress it was a child’s bday. They brought the desserts without a candle. I asked and they never returned with a bday candle or apology.
They should have remedied that situation. A few of the pizzas had burnt crusts. We mentioned but no one talked to us about that. Kids loved the desserts but overall it was not managed well.
Hard to recommend a place that had Disappointing issues.
We came to Parlor with a relatively large party of 10. Our server was fantastic, continuing to make sure that everyone had what they needed even though the restaurant was slammed. She even split the bill for us at the end which is never easy for a party of that size but was much appreciated.
Love this place and their unique pizzas. My favorite is the Cheesus, Mary and Joseph! So good
Great service. One thing I did not like is that I reserved 3 hours prior and requested patio seating. When I got there they told me the wait was 30 minutes. Overall great place!
Food and ambiance is great but staff and management could use some help on professionalism and how to treat their guests. This is coming from someone who has previously worked 8 years in the hospitality industry.
I was there with my family for my 14 year old and 2 year olds’ birthdays. The food was amazing and the dessert was fun. Unfortunately we went during March madness and the noise level was more than any other bar/restaurant I’ve ever been to (maybe even any concert - and I’ve been to a lot!) I would go again during the week, in nice weather, outside.
