We arrived early for a reservation, and they were are able to set us. Our service was really great and ambience was wonderful. However, we waited over an hour for our food. The manager and we Server were very apologetic and comped my daughter’s meal. The food was good, nothing to truly write home about but worth a visit.

My husband and I went to Parkwood for Thanksgiving. We were pleasantly surprised at the wonderful service and food. The meal was amazing. The turkey was perfect. We left room for dessert and was bot disappointed with the sweet potato or pumpkin pie.

The server was bias towards us we were not respected as guests honestly. It took an hour to be serviced and then another 30 minutes for the fried green tomatoes appetizer.

The food was mostly good but nothing memorable. I had the ribs with Mac n cheese and collard greens. The collards were homemade and good but need a little more seasoning. The Mac n cheese was the worst dish. It wasn’t very cheesy and lacked flavor. The ribs were meaty and good…but so are the ones at Krogers lol. No grill or smoky flavor to them but they had decent flavor. The service was a little slow but it was because we came right after a convention so that’s not fully their fault. The restaurant is esthetically beautiful though. The backside where the water features are were a whole little vibe!

We were disappointed in this Father’s Day brunch. There was no buffet and the Father’s Day menu was rather limited. We had 11:30 reservations and ordered mimosas and were told by our server it was illegal to serve on Sundays in Dunwoody. Then we saw a table with a different server drinking mimosas and Bloody Mary’s. The hostess made it right for our table. We also didn’t know that there would be a $20 valet parking fee whereas self-parking was validated. We also didn’t notice until after the fact that a 20% gratuity had been added to our bill. Shame on me for not noticing, but most restaurants only do that for large groups and we were a party of 4.

Absolutely wonderful experience! We came for Mother’s Day and had their delicious buffet. The service was excellent and we were checked on frequently. The staff had a station near us and they all took time to talk to and engage with our little one who was so curious about her surroundings. Our favorite part of the buffet was the giant shrimp, crab claws and the sushi. I am still drooling thinking about how wonderful the food was. There were plenty of choices from breakfast, lunch, fresh fruit, pastries and even a tree with macaroons. There was also a kids area of the buffet and they even had a table set up to let kids paint as an activity to give the parents a little quiet time.

Great place for family holiday brunch gathering. Easter was lovely! If you can afford the spectacular buffet, it is totally worth it. A huge variety, including fresh seafood (oysters, crab claws, shrimp), sushi, carving station (rack of lamb), omelet station, belgian waffle station, and full complement of breakfast and lunch buffet items + dessert. You will want for NOTHING! Plus service is friendly and the ambiance of looking out into the beautiful Ravinia garden through floor-to-ceiling glass windows is wonderful.

I booked this place because the pictures online looked unique. This place did not disappoint! Both indoor and outdoors is phenomenal!!!! It’s so peaceful and relaxing! Our server was Mia and she made our evening PERFECT!!! She had the best customer service! She’s a server that you think, I want her number because I want to kick it with her. The food and cocktails won’t disappoint either!!!

Expected a traditional Christmas Day buffet - the buffets had closed well over an hour before our reservation time. So, the menu consisted of hotel offerings. Not impressed with pricing or selection. Wine was outrageously priced for the relatively low quality. Server was pointedly assent when the table wanted water refills. Additionally, we were charged for parking. Although the OpenTable listing stated free parking, we were charged 8.00 for parking. Overall, a very underwhelming experience

Maybe because it was Christmas day, but the service wasn't good. After being seated, my server never came over to tell us to go for the buffet. After a while, we decided to help ourselves. Once we got our drinks, he never returned to see if we needed anything else. I flagged down the lady clearing tables to ask for a 2nd round of drinks. He brought the drinks and I asked for some condiments, he never came back until he brought the check. Also, when I made the reservation, I checked that I wanted to order from the menu. I'm not a buffet, all you can eat type and didn't get my money's worth. If I had know that wasn't an option, I may have chosen another restaurant. Still the place is very nice. The ambience was great with the pianist playing Christmas music. I will give it a another try.

Parkwoods was fantastic -- at the last minute, we had to change our Christmas Brunch plans due to the freezing weather. We had originally planned to drive up to the North Georgia Mountains, but my parents were skittish (rightfully so), and I had to scramble to find seating for 6 on Christmas Day. Fortunately, Parkwoods came up. I had not been to the Crowne Plaza Ravinia in years -- back in the 90s/early aughts, this was THE place to have your wedding reception because of the fantastic garden grounds. I took a look at the online photos, and realized they had completely renovated! The restaurant now looks very modern, refreshed, and practically is a greenhouse atrium with all the lovely glass, allowing in light and the ability to take in the surrounding scenery. I was able to make a reservation at 1:30 pm on Open Table. Literally within minutes, someone called me to confirm the seating, which I appreciated. My parents are elderly, so getting them downstairs took a while, and the valet parking was full, so I had to park in the garage. The elevator parking goes straight to the lobby, so no problems there. There was lovely live keyboard Christmas music playing -- not too loud. The decor was very tasteful, and while we had to wait a few minutes for the seating, the lounge chairs were very comfortable. When we were led to our seats, we walked past the spread, which was glorious. Omelet/waffle station, beef carving, and most impressively, the fresh SEAFOOD! Our table was as a booth/banquette, which was a little tight, but they offered us an extra free-standing chair to ease the room. Understandable given the last-minute accommodation. The food was great -- my parents especially loved the fresh plump crab claws and shrimp on ice. We took full advantage of the omelet station -- prepared a la minute. I could see how everyone on staff pitched in including hosts to clear tables and refresh beverages. Such a pleasant atmosphere and great service -- will DEFINITELY return!

Went here for Thanksgiving in 2022 and it was quite an unexpected, nice experience. The conservatory feel atmosphere with beautiful gardens were really what set the mood. The hostess and waiting staff were very welcoming and friendly, they explained the food and the souschef (or chef, can't remember) even came out to greet us after dinner. Surprisingly good for being a hotel restaurant. Would absolutely recommend.

Great, non overwhelming service (automatic 18% gratuity), and a nice ambience (St. Cecelia like vibe). Excellent ribeye (decent sauce, well cooked, good presentation), amazing fried chicken (succulent, rich, consistent throughout), wonderful pasta (homemade, flavorful, fulfilling). Good drinks from bar. After dinner service felt unwanted almost as an after thought despite our attempts. Definitely returning though in order to explore further. (Note: Gardens are not wheelchair accessible)

We were greeted nicely and our initial interaction with our server was really nice, she was upbeat and friendly. Unfortunately after our initial greeting the service was awful. Once our orders were taken we never saw her again until we complained. We had to get up and go find a pitcher of water, bus our own table. We shared on the front end that we were celebrating a birthday, without our asking they brought a slice of cake but then charged us for it. When we asked for the manager she came over and apologized and said she would comp the birthday guests meal. She didn't comp it she just discounted it 50%. She asked what else she could do so the birthday girl asked for a drink, the manager said "no, I can't do that". Really, why did you ask?? We won't return or recommend Parkwoods.
