On an otherwise rote Sunday afternoon, Carmen was such an unexpected bright spot and delight in my evening. Come for the food and especially the ambiance but come again for the Outstanding SERVICE!!!

It's not really clear, but this is the restaurant in the hotel at Ravinia. It is open and airy with large windows overlooking the natural land outside. The patio was not open for dining. We were one of just a few tables occupied, service was good, not outstanding. IE we were seated for a bit before anyone came over to get drink orders.

Part of hotel so if no events going on the restaurant is pretty empty. We enjoyed the food and the server was very good. I would not call it a destination restaurant

Though I was surprised that the restaurant is located in the Crown Plaza hotel, the ambiance, service and food made up for my initial disappointment. As a party of three fairly frequent dinner connoisseurs with varied tastes, we all found delicious appetizers, drinks and main courses. The large windows featuring lush landscaping provided an excellent backdrop for the evening. Overall we enjoyed our meals and would definitely return.

We experienced the most exquisite Brunch…it was a beautiful experience from the moment we checked in at the hostess stand until our palates were totally satiated and we rolled out of there.;-) The staff were sweet and accommodating and I couldn’t recommend the omelette chef enough, as I think it was the best omelette I have ever had! There were so many options, so we are looking forward to their next brunch on Mother’s Day!

We visited my brother in law who was in town for a conference. It was Valentines Day so we weren't able to get a table. We decided to come back a few weeks later. It was definitely worth the wait. We ordered the friend chicken and the flat bread pizza. Everything was delicious. The waitress was nice enough to give us some of the special hot sauce to take home. We even ordered burgers to go for dinner the next day. Service and atmosphere was great! We will definitely return.
