Parkside District - Atlanta
We enjoyed our time at Parkside District, we came to celebrate a birthday and Bri as well as our server Hilario ensured that we were taken care of. It was a really nice experience, great atmosphere, good staff and overall nice place!
Good food was marred by a 25 minute wait for our server to come to our table the first time. The restaurant was very warm inside and a screaming baby did not help. I've been here before and the service was much better. Not sure I can recommend due to the wait and the cost of the meal.
Great service!! We had a party of 7 and everyone enjoyed the food and atmosphere.
Food was fantastic. Service was extremely slow.
Birthday dinner for my mom
Cornbread was wonderful. The fritters are very good. Shrimp was tough and warm not hot. Salad was ok but nothing special. Very loud today. Kinda pricey for what we got.
I definitely recommend this spot service was spectacular food was great and we had a good time
Mussels were great but served with only 3 tiny pieces of toast. Asked for more and it took 10 minutes to get 3 more tiny pieces.
None of the entries excited us so my wife ordered the boil and all the seafood was overcooked
My brisket was very fatty. Jim and Nick is much better
Music was nice and they were totally full
Next time we won't sit close to the entertainment - a bit too loud.
First time at Parkside and we are kicking ourselves for not coming sooner!! Food, ambiance, service, everything was stellar!! Definitely will be back!
Great good; great service…
Our family of 5 visited Parkside for the first time to celebrate the family patriarch's birthday. We all had a wonderful time, the service was friendly, accommodating and made us feel special. The music was upbeat and fun. The food was served timely, hot and super delicious. We are a very nit picky bunch and yet everyone was completely happy with the experience. Parkside District has become a new go-to place for us.
Food is very good but service needs some work. Those are the best crab legs I have eaten in a while and would come back for more.
We had reservations at 2:15. We weren’t seated until 2:30.
The water at the table had been out for some time.
We waited 15 minutes and no server greeted us. My husband had to go up to the hostess stand and ask if we were going to get waited on anytime soon.
Finally someone came up, apologized for the wait but was not overly effusive about it. The drinks we ordered took way more time than they should have and some people in our party received cold food.
We have never received service / food like this at the restaurant and we are disappointed to say that we will not be coming here again.
I made a reservation for my sister’s birthday. My party and I arrived on time and were seated within 10 minutes. This dining experience was a nightmare!!! Our server came over and we requested a round of shots while we decided on appetizers. After about 25 minutes our shots finally came. 4 out of the 5 glasses had previous guests’ lips on them! We pointed this out to the server and he seemed mortified. I was disgusted but my sister still wanted the shots so we requested them to be remade, in CLEAN glasses. The server left with the stained glasses and said he would return. We literally had to flag down another server because ours disappeared. “Alvin” finally returned after about 20 minutes to take our appetizer order. He took the order and left again. Guests continued to file in and some even received their entrees while were sitting there waiting on appetizers. We didn’t order brunch items and those seemed to have priority over any other orders. After another 30 minutes, Alvin returned with the appetizers, fried green tomatoes were tasty, calamari was gummy and the wings were a hit with my family. We asked to place our entree orders because we feared Alvin would leave again and not return for a while. We ordered our 5 entrees and proceeded to wait. Good thing we all like each other and the conversation was lively, otherwise the 50 minutes it took for our food would’ve been unbearable. FINALLY, the entrees came or so we thought. My sisters salmon was carelessly over cooked and my daughter’s shrimp and grits never came. Alvin came around after we were done eating what we could and asked how everything was. I informed him of my daughter’s missing entree and he asked me “am I sure?”. It took everything out of me not to scream!! He brought the bill and charged for the missing entree and the shots. When I asked why I was charged for the missing entree, Alvin says “let me get the manager so he can get you free food”. This young man insulted me and my family. I am LIVID!
My reservation was at 12:30. We arrived 10 minutes early. No one was at the hostess stand to greet us. Finally after 20 minutes someone showed up. We were seated in the middle of the floor. We requested another seat and we were offered a seat right next to another couple. With Covid we declined. We were finally moved. Then it literally took at least 30 minutes before I got up to locate our server. She had a large party so no issues with her. The service was horrible. The food was good however due to the lack of service and no real leadership on the floor I would not refer this restaurant to anyone that I knew.
It was my friend’s birthday
Excellent food and beautiful ambiance. Menu had many choices from seafood to chicken to steak. Service was personable and quick. Would highly recommend for a business lunch or romantic dinner. Nice wine selection and cocktails as well. Great all around!
20 min wait with reservation. After seated no waiter came in 10 mins. We decided to leave as the restaurant was overbooked and under staffed.
The service has really gone down hill. One of our guests received their meal 30 minutes after everyone else and it took over 30 minutes for us to get our dessert. Not even an apology. This was on of my favorite places but not anymore.
Terrible service. We had a reservation at 6:15pm, got seated, and then waiting an hour before we finally asked if anyone was going to wait on our table. We then placed a drink order and waited another 20 minutes for our drinks to arrive. By that point we didn’t even want to place our food order if it had taken that long to even get just drinks and to be seen. So we left. That completely ruined our experience and would never go back. Our waiter didn’t even apologized for the lack of service they provided.
The food was excellent as usual. Even though it was a busy evening, service was quicker than usual.
The grace period was helpful as we were late for our reservation.
Food was good to great. They should allow subs on sides for brunch especially for the price. I also think they should homestyle breakfast potatoes rather than three whole new potatoes with their breakfast items. The chicken and waffles were not good. Everything else was great. Took a while to get our drinks. Had to remind the waiter. Also no soap in the women’s restroom. So they are slightly overpriced since they have upscale dining prices but not quite the service caliber to match. I recommend sticking to the regular menu rather than the brunch items. The shrimp and grits are the best.
This is our #1 Go to for Ladies Night Out!
Made reservations for 2 and noted we are celebrating a birthday. Food, drink and service were good. Music was on the loud side. Not very crowded. Disappointed the server failed to recognize the birthday being celebrated as mentioned in the reservation and when I stated to the hostess.
The food was great, but I expected more food for the seafood platter and less French fries...
Very friendly staff but the food wasn't good but all. Everything was bland and lacked flavor.
Everything was really good, will definitely go back.
The food was good but the service was terrible. Our server took our order for food and then never returned. She never asked if we needed refills or checked to see if our food ever even made it to us. We waited 30 minutes for a check before someone reminded her we existed and she brought our check. We wanted dessert but that wasn’t an option since no one came by to check on us.
All was ok, was not a bad experience, but was not special. A little pricey for what I got (Boil) but service was good.
Celebrated my husbands birthday. Nothing big but good times with the family.
good food and ambience. great time out and service was smooth
It was a very “cheers” atmosphere. I saw the bartender call a few guests by name. I even saw one woman there alone recognize a family and all sit together. It’s a very cool, community restaurant and I can’t wait to go back.
I love this place but it's really been hit or miss lately. My last visit wasn't particularly good. The food took forever, almost an hour to get to us. Luckily it was hot but lacking flavor. The calamari used to be my fav but it appeared to be fried in a chicken batter and not a seafood batter. It was very breaded almost like Popeyes chicken. My entree was ok as well. Will give it another try but its becoming too inconsistent for me.
Wonderful experience, food was excellent! Had a larger party of 9 which was difficult to get a reservation for online and couldn’t get through on the phone so just split the kids and adults and got a reservation easy peasy asking for tables to be next to each other. Gluten free options were so good!
Great place for date night! Good live music and delicious food!
My birthday was wonderful from start to finish. Parkside is one of my favorite go to restaurants. My entire tables food came out all together, the drinks were delicious and refreshing.
This has become one my husband and I favorite restaurants. We always ask to sit in Nelson's section. He is the best!
No coffee available! Food and presentation was very good.
