Oysters & Bubbles Wednesday
join us every wednesday for 1/2 off; oyster platters and sparkling wine
44 farms, tomatillo, salsa roja, chips, lime, chili dust
Service was a bit slow but the food made up for it!
Service was wonderful, oysters & bubbles here never disappoints
We didn’t finish our food—it was flavorless and unappetizing. They were only serving a fraction of the menu that shows up here on OpenTable and were out of one of the few items that was actually on the menu. We waited 45 minutes for the food. So overpriced, wouldn’t go back.
Our waitress was very nice.
Great oysters! Their crab fritters are great too! Highly recommend to try
Last minute reservation on a Sat night, but they made room. Waitress was very cordial and friendly. Tables were spaced well and atmosphere was nice, quiet, romantic. Ordered cocktails (well-made), appetizer and split an entre'. Everything was delicious! So happy we found this gem.
Hidden oasis with amazing food on 6th! Also has a great happy hour
Food is decent; drinks are okay. Service was not great. Waited over 20 min for checks bc the waiter kept messing it up. Wouldn’t go back
This was an underwhelming experience. It used to be one of our favorite places in ATX. But the service and overall experience have declined. The menu is very limited and some items are overpriced.
Dirty entrance, poor service and had to ask for things we ordered multiple times. Food wasn’t up to par or Shawn’s standards.
Service and food were amazing. The server had a trainee and both made us feel super welcome and taken care of.
We love Parkside happy hour! Great food, drinks, and service. Highly recommend!
Went to Parkside to redeem a coupon for $20 off our meal because last time it took 30mins to bring our chicken. This time it took 30mins to bring out a medium rare steak. Does not make sense. Unacceptable. It's a freaking steak, doesn't take 30mins. Place was practically empty.
This is a "fake" nice restaurant. The oysters we got tasted like absolutely nothing. The service was inept. The chairs are uncomfortable. For the money, this is a really poor experience.
nice spot, great burger! fun location on 6th but an upscale divergence from the all the bars
Excellent steak frites - sage bourbon cocktail was outstanding.
Feel the food has been going downhill. Bland.
We had planned to come here to sit on the rooftop patio on the beautiful day. I filtered out restaurants with outdoor seating on Open Table and that is why we selected this place. The rooftop patio wasn't even open for seating and we got sat inside and the music was very aggressive. We got sat at a table that said the table wasn't open for seating so we also didn't have a QR code to scan for drinks even. Our drinks were good and that was all we decided to have as we wanted to get outdoors before it was too late to enjoy the sunshine. Overall nothing was spectacular. The service, the greeting, or the accuracy of outdoor seating.
Food was delicious. Service was quick, very nice and friendly staff.
We were excited to return to Parkside since we hadn't been in a while. The ceviche was incredible. The burger and chicken sandwich were incredibly disappointing. The sandwiches looked like sliders not full size meals. The buns were hard. The meat had no flavor. The chicken was grisly with no flavor. We won't return.
Excited to try parkside after a number of unsuccessful attempts during covid environment, experience was underwhelming, drink menu was overcontemplated, yet narrow and food was average.
We had calamari, oysters, steak & frites and the salmon. All very tasty. Service was attentive too. They also did a decent job of spacing all the customers out.
Kate was perfect. The food was perfect, the cocktails were perfect. Everything was absolutely perfect.
Parkside is always amazing! The food is delicious!! Mac and cheese is always a win. Wish they had not ran out of bone marrow and the calamari. :(
Had a wonderful evening that spanned from craft cocktails and apps right into dinner. Which included two of our out of town Chloe provided superb service and delivery. Will definitely be back!
Food was a little boring. Soup was luke warm. Cesar salad had so much red lettuce it didn’t resemble a Caesar salad.
Great food and service
If you can’t say anything nice ....
Not sure what our waitress name was but she has short black hair. She was very nice & accommodating to two New Yorkers in a rush 🤣
Was excited to visit on Wednesday for half off oysters. Once we got seated took awhile to get our drink order. Took 30 min to get our first platter of oysters to only be told they sold out. Had also ordered fries in the beginning and didn’t get them till the end. The waitress was nice just the wait for everything took too long.
The restaurant was very cute; however, I was disappointed by the menu selections. When I made the reservation online, there seemed to be a more robust offerings. I am going to attribute this to COVID restrictions but would have appreciated seeing the current menu online.
simply amazing as always! parkside never disappoints!
Park side is a lovely barebones food driven restaurant where service is at the for front. It has a well curated drinks menu with lots of creativity. I say this as a cocktail bartender with years of experience. Their happy hour deals are a great value. There’s a hit of rig raf on the streets around there but that just downtown in general. It’s worth going. Highlights for us were the drinks, oysters and the squash salad. I’m definitely trying some of the other menu items as lots of them looked great.
Food was edible but poor quality. Just not a good experience from just about every angle!
The food and service was amazing!
Terrible ripoff. Went for Valentine's Day. They forced my fiance and I to share a prix fixe menu for one person, and charged us $140. We had to split a moderately sized salad and 4 lamb chops that were fatty and mediocre. The menu indicated that we would both get entrees and appetizers. Not that we would have to share one persons.
They left the front door open for prolonged periods of time when it was freezing outside. We could see our breath inside the restaurant
Service was attentive but the restaurant was a ripoff and would never go back. Horrible horrible horrible
Had a great time. Wonderful service. Our server Jack was awesome.
Went there for my birthday and honestly their 1/2 off oysters and bubbles is one of the best deals in town! I’m only docking a star bc some of the food we ordered didn’t come out and we knew the bartender was busy doing other things so we just ended the night a little early which was kind of meh. That being said, since there wasn’t anyone really behind the bar we didn’t have anyone around us and it felt super safe!
I had a wonderful birthday celebration with good wine and LOTS of oysters! All five of us ordered the steak and frites as our entree and let’s just say our table was silent for a solid ten minutes! Would absolutely recommend!
Overall our experience was enjoyable. We had a great waitress named Abby and she took good care of us. Everyone in our group enjoyed their dishes - the chicken sandwich, ceviche, salmon. I got the buttered chicken dish and it wasn’t my favorite - the peppercorn sauce made it taste burnt and weird. I ended up just getting a side of fries to neutralize the taste and feed my appetite. I did enjoy the music and it wasn’t very crowded the night we went so I’d go again but get something different. I plan to check out their Wed evening half off oyster and bubbles deal.
