Cleveland native Executive Chef Andrew Gorski’s food is based on experiences gained everywhere from the Culinary Institute of America, to Thomas Keller’s Bouchon and MIX by Alain Ducasse, to the hip Albuquerque restaurant scene to Cleveland’s Butcher & Brewer and the Tremont Tap House. Now it is his turn. Come dine with us and enjoy his creations.
The restaurant’s expansive layout, incorporates strong architectural lines and urban rustic décor, reflective of Parker’s hearty urban fare. Its spacious interior seats 120 in the midst of steel rivets, cool wood and distinctive flooring. It’s not pretentious.
Limited menu. Rather slow service. Maybe recommend with different menu
We went before the theater and our meals were delicious. The service was excellent too. Only thing that was not perfect was the noise level. Maybe a different table would have helped. Definitely would recommend.
James and his team deliver world class service every time! Highly recommend... food was outstanding and the place has great energy
The food was OK, but hands down, this was the WORST service I have experienced in 20 years. No joking. The waitress disappeared and didnt come back. I had to get up and get the barman to serve us.
Then at the end of the meal she suddenly reappeared. REALLY?
And here's the rub -- the place was virtually empty! One other table of 3 who seemed to just be having drinks -- unless they were missing a server too.
Just not acceptable.
Oh, and BTW, the bucatini dish is actually fettuccine! Come on. They can't even get the pasta right.
Food was amazing. Service a little slow and almost seemed to be an annoyance to staff.
The Korean bbq chicken sandwich was amazing.
My friend and I each ordered a salad and then split a few appetizers. The salads came out fairly quickly. My wedge salad was good; she thought the Caesar salad was just fine. The wait for our appetizers was long-about another 20 minutes. We got the meatballs, which were decent; the cheese plate was extremely disappointing-just a few types of cheese thrown on the plate in piles, along with a small amount of really thin crackers (not a good option other than the Brie). The “bruschetta” was not what you’d expect; bread with piled lunch meat on top. We sent that back and they did remove it from our bill. Overall a very disappointing experience!
Very small portions. shrimp scampi was lukewarm. waitress brought bread plates but no bread. when we asked for it she acted as if she was doing us a favor by bringing it.
very mediocre experience. won't be back.
Food was very good! Really enjoyed the calamari and the Burrata Fried Green Tomato Salad. Both are enough to share. We had the roasted chicken and the filet. Both were very tasty. Only minus-the filet was a bit too salty for my liking. Vegetables were good. We would definitely go there again! Service was spot on and we felt we got great attention. Give this place a try!
Service was marginal. Appetizers came same time as the dinner. Ordered wine with dinner and never received. Dessert came when we were leaving.
The food was excellent! Quiet atmosphere.
Food was very tasty. Cool atmosphere. Good location to theaters and other area downtown points of interest.
Food consistently good regardless of what you order. Service is excellent and very personable.
Parker's Downtown has never failed to deliver a wonderful quick meal or relaxing evening out. This particular night a friend and I were dining before a show at Playhouse Square. We both had the salmon, delicious by the way, and were in and out without feeling rushed, in plenty of time to walk to our show. Fabulous service is always a plus here!
Amazing food and service. Can’t believe I have not been to this gem until now. Never a fan of hotel restaurants but this changed my tune.
Took my mom out for Mother’s Day brunch and the food was dreadful. Between both of out plates, there was almost no difference in color. No excitement, no garnish, no whisper of greenery or anything. Just a tan plate with tan breakfast foods. Blah. I also ordered my eggs poached, and they came out with completely solid yolks and our server didn’t even care to check on it once. The Bloody Mary was excellent, and thank goodness it helped wash down my burned toast and hard-boiled eggs.
Service was excellent and food was very tasty. Will for sure be back
Place was not full but servers were not on their game and food took much longer than expected considering it was slow. Basics like getting a second drink or water refill didn’t happen & no bread offered? Disappointed won’t spend money there again though we like the Avon location and will visit there, much more friendly & attentive service
Had theatre tickets and they were wonderful that, no matter that we ordered appetizers, etc. we had plenty of time to get to Playhouse Square. Food was very very good.
The food was good, but it was way too loud for a business lunch. I'd recommend only going at off-peak times if you want to be able to have a conversation.
Excellent food & service. The atmosphere is cozy. Our waitress was fantastic.
The food was excellent! The waitress was very friendly and helpful as well! It was a first time for two of the three people and they enjoyed the food and atmosphere.
Slow service, the soups lacked seasoning just disappointed we expected better
We have been to Parker's quite a few times, and this time things seemed to be slipping. There was a new menu and it didn't seem as interesting as past menus. And the food the night we were there seemed generally blah.
The food is great and the staff is so accommodating.
Always great food at Parkers
Food and service was great! Nice place
We had a party of 14 with a reservation. Our appetizers came quickly and tasted very good. Our meals then took an hour and a half before they came. We then asked for the desert menu. We were told they didn’t have a menu but the waiter would explain it to us. After another 10 minutes we decided it wasn’t worth it. Our dinner experience took 2 hours and 10 minutes on a nearly $1,100 bill. We also asked twice for the waiter to take a group picture. He never did. I do not recommend this place
The service was great. The food was amazing and we will be back for sure.
The chef personally greeted as when we came in as it was just after opening. Our server was pleasant and the food delicious. Two of us had the tomato bisque soup, one had a burger perfectly cooked and the other had fish, which was also good. Convenient location and valet parking is especially helpful. Highly recommend!
Ate with our family group of 6. Had a selection of beer, apps and entrees. All tasty. Server was polite, quick, and attentive.
Great food, service, ambience!
Dinner was fabulous as was the service, I had a guest out of town and she was very impressed as well. Thank you!!!!
Great food and great bargains at happy hour. Cauliflower soup, fish dip and wings were outstanding
Valet was rude. Small portions of food. Ribs not cooked or prepared well. Server was mediocre at best. I expect better out of a downtown restaurant.
Waitress was awesome, great service but the grilled octopus and Mac & cheese was way too salty. Asparagus was tender. Other members of my party enjoyed the steaks and scampi.
Stayed at the hotel, ate at the restaurant. Both were amazing. Great ambience. Great staff. Great food. Would def do it again!
Food was excellent! Waiter messed up my husband's order, but paid for one of his drinks. He also messed up the dessert, but they brought the right one out. Overall, it was good.
Lively setting within hotel bar. Casual and comfortable. Food and service good. Would return again.
Korean chicken sandwich great!!! Cauliflower soup has curry in it. Served cool - not good at all. Service fine.
Great service, great food. Not the "usual" fare. Unique blends of flavors. Great presentation with entrees. I will definitely visit Parker's again.
