Our server, Zach, was excellent. He tried very hard to make sure we were good. The food was absolutely delicious. The only issue with it was that the fries with the burger were warm, not hot. They must have been sitting around a while before they were plated, or the plate sat for a while. Either way, Zach was attentive, made sure we were happy, and really made for a great date night. This was our second time visiting Park Tavern, and we’ll be back.
Our Server Bri was best server we’ve experience over various visits. The amount of mussels in the special curry sauce special was enormous. I had the Filet was very tasty and tender. It came with large portion of loaded mash potatoes in its own iron pot Very nice out, Thanks Bri and Park Tavern. Place is very loud, conversations must must kick up the volume.
I made reservations through open table and was seated at our selected time with no problems on a fairly busy Friday night. Upon being seated our waitress was very prompt and very friendly. I really like the setting and ambience, low light with a mix of booths and tables., nice modern finishes. We got the Thai shrimp appetizer which was very good and similar to bang bang shrimp. There were 3 of us and we got the burger, chicken sandwich and I had the Korean Tacos, they were all very good and fresh tasting. Also, I ordered a Margarita which was very strong and had one of their draft beers which was also very good along with a couple of big shots. Definitely will be coming back.
Park Tavern servers are the best around, and their happy hour can’t be beat!
Started with the French toast bites and chicken nachos. Don’t judge me.
French Toast bites were sugary and sweet. Cooked to perfection.
Chicken nachos had a decent amount of pulled chicken but lacked enough cheese. Left about 1/4 of the plate with uncheesed chips.
Ordered the bottomless brunch. Honestly one of these bloody Mary’s was enough. The amount of vodka in the glass to start was crazy. Make your own spicy Bloody Mary with all of the fixings was great.
We got omelettes for our main course. One bacon and cheese, one harvest and one southwestern with chorizo. All were cooked perfectly and packed full with cheese and bacon and sausage and mushrooms and everything else they came with.
Lastly we ordered the Nutella Waffles. Two giant Belgian waffles drizzled with Nutella and sprinkled with powdered sugar and topped with bananas. NUFF SAID! Order these!!!!
Our server was great. Park Tavern has food runners so even if your server is busy your food isn’t sitting under a heating lamp. Everything came out hot and fresh.
This is a great neighborhood gem for weekend brunch. The Mimosa, Bellini and Bloody Mary bar IS AMAZING!
The food...always great.
The staff...wonderful as always.
The management team and being assigned a new server saved our experience at Park Tavern. This is actually one of our neighborhood favorites so we were really thankful to the staff and management team for stepping in and making our experience very enjoyable as it always was in our many past visits. All I can say to the fist server is that she is not cutout for this line of work.
We always enjoy our meals and the service we receive from Park Tavern. We like the lively atmosphere.
The food and service both have gone down hill. The service is slow. It took over 20 minutes to get drinks after we placed our order. The bartender prepared the order and we could see our order sitting on the bar but the waiter was extremely slow in coming back to our table and it was only 4:30 and it wasn't busy in the restaurant. The waiter wasn't interested in taking our food order and we sat another 30 minutes with the menus on the table waiting to give our food order to the waiter. Several staff were walking around yet no one stopped to ask us if we were ready to order. When the waiter finally took our food order it took another 30-40 minutes for our food /sandwiches to come out of the kitchen and when they arrived three of the five plates were cold and not hot and also the french fries were cold. The sour dough sandwiches were slightly buttered and were not grilled. It was like eating cold white bread. We will not be returning to Park Tavern. It was very disappointing. We left with most of our food on the table and the waitstaff never asked if our food was o.k. Lost revenue because the attitude is that they just don't care anymore.
This establishment since opening has gone from good to mediocre to poor. The menu seems rather limited the food is definitely mediocre on our last visit it was very poor. Turkey with Brie sandwich. Turkey was dry, could not find any Brie and bread tasted like several days old. The only reason we didn’t send it back was that we were hungry and in a hurry. Place is probably good for happy hour but since we don’t drink it’s off our list
I’ve reviewed this restaurant before with great remakes however I feel like it’s going down hill. They keep changing their menu and get rid of stuff that was actually good. The food we had this visit was just ok. My sons order was messed up so we had to wait for them to make his cheeseburger and for a 5 year old to wait is a life time. My husbands steak and spinach salad was horrible. He ate the steak and some pieces of spinach and couldn’t eat anymore of it because it was drowned in bacon grease. Think we’re going to have to look into finding another regular spot for us cause I’m kind of over this place.
Everything was great but it was a little to loud for my 85 year old mother. Take that with a grain of salt.
Tex Mex flatbread was quite generous in size and tasty. Chopped salad a nice combination of greens, avocado, tomato, etc. but could have used a little more dressing. Pear Salad did not have pears in it at all but mandarin oranges instead. Still good though, but why call it a pear salad? We enjoyed our meals.
Ordered the feta and red pepper flatbread...covered with onions and arugula, little patch of feta on one end, little patch of red pepper on the other. Fish tacos were good, albeit cold...nice blackened seasoning. Service was good. Ambience good.
Park Tavern has found its legs. In the begining the menu was strange and the vibe stressed. We took several vacations over the last 3 years in hope it would find its way. I believe it has. Although the young staff seems to turnover frequently the menu is now solid and portion size vs price accommodating.
Great experience. Nice ambiance, delish food (Tavern burger, pear salad), and great service by Casey, all at a reasonable price!
Eaten here several times but the food was not up to previous experiences. The attempt at Irish food for St Pats was not worth the effort. Lamb stew was almost all potatoes. Bedside that turkey burger was only half cooked. Server brought wrong beer and when pointed out she was surprised. Hard to mistake other beers for Guinness. The beer was consumed and others ordered but other restaurants would have written off the mistake as a courtesy. Atmosphere is pleasant here but this was a meal that disappointed.
I have to say I was pleased around on our visit.
My only disappointment was celebration for st patty’s day kinda of kink in the dining. The band was loud and that’s understood so it’s not really being held against this day. The food was well prepared and tasty. The standout were the mussels which were plentiful and tasty. I do suggest the fish sandwich had a softer bun.
The service was horrid. Our waiter disappeared for 90+ minutes. We finally had to hunt him down so we could check out. Food was okay, but nothing compensates for lousy service.
Great food and beverages, as usual.... but the service was not very good tonight. (Server keyed in the wrong appetizer, and brought a "sauce on the side" order out with sauce already on the entree.) Lots of apologies, but didn't do much more than that. Despite the issues tonight, this restaurant is worth returning to....
Had an excellent time here! Smoked margarita was wonderful.
The buffalo cauliflower taco recommended by our server was amazing and is not to be missed on Taco Tuesday!
Went for brunch and was one of first customers when restaurant opened. We were immediately brought two completely cold cups of coffee (again, we were there not long after the place opened), When we brought it to the attention of the waitress, she agreed to make a new pot but did not seemed surprised that it was cold. Order of pancakes came out still raw dough. Sent it back. Another order came back with raw dough. Manager agreed to take it off the check but really was not interested in learning about our experience overall. His overall outward attitude conveyed, to us, a total level of indifference which matched that of the waitress. I doubt we return.
First time there with my fiance and we loved it! We had a reservation and they actually had a table reserved for us. That made all the difference in the world! We will be making this place one of our favorite spots from now on!
Great food and drinks
I meet with a couple of friends at The Park Tavern once a month for Happy Hour. And my husband I go there a couple times a month. We always enjoy ourselves! There servers are always great, but we are partial to Bree. Always a smile and very accommodating! Makes our meal twice as enjoyable!
W always have a great time at Park Tavern! Ther service is great and they have a nice Happy Hour. The food choices for Happy Hour use to be better then they currently are now.
Food is always great! Had to Chang reservations. For 6 to 8 people. Could not use the app. Only could call. So they changed the reservation to 6 people at 8. Not quite the same thing. Service was a bit slow as they are busy. Got some food before drinks and the food was not quick. Still one of my favorite places.
This place is usually very good. Today it was not. Terrible service. Food ok-French toast not very tasty with just a few bananas. Not the place for brunch.
First time visiting. Made a reservation and was seated within minutes of arriving. A booth was even provided upon request. Food was exceptional, although smaller portions. Tried a whiskey flight, but they were out of several items on the menu. Waitress was friendly and attentive. Overall experience was a 4/5. Would like to see menu options kept in stock and slightly large portions on the shareable appetizers.
Great food and our waitress was great! Super friendly and helpful!
Average place for an area starved for quality resturants. Parking was easy and service ok. Drinks from the bar were slow. The food is always ok, so I can't truly recommend anyone thing. Until something better pop's up in SP, Park Tavern will do.
It was a great place, to my date there and we had a great time
Always a great time!
Try everything. Especially the cold brew.
Amazing pickle fries! Tomatillo mussels were good but not as good as the angry mussels- not quite the same depth of flavor and not enough broth. The turkey sandwich lacked much flavor and needed more Brie.
A hidden gem. Good, service and atmosphere excellent. Elizabeth was knowledgeable, friendly and took care of us like we were regulars. We will be back!
Went for Valentine’s Day. Wasn’t aware you needed to specify a booth seat in making the reservation. Had to sit at a middle aisle table. Service was good but steak was lukewarm and apple crisp dessert we ordered was also cold. Manager credited us for dessert. We will go again maybe on a less busy night.
Out of 29 taps at least 8 were out. I ordered a draft off the menu that said it was available but it wasn't. Waiter told me to check the Untapped app for selections, but not any better than menu. Lousy table with reservations and wouldn't seat us elsewhere in half empty restaurant when we were 15 minutes early. Soft pretzels were great.
Great food. Great atmosphere. Great beer and wine selection. Need I say more?
