Hadn't been in a few years - interior is beautiful - sitting looking at the park across the way is very pleasant. Was there for Sunday brunch and food was very good but most impressed with the service - EXCELLENT - I had a lot of questions about the ingredients in their dishes and my server was not only willing to find out the answers but friendly and smiling throughout - even thanked me for helping her learn more about how they make cheese, LOL - Will return .
The team at Park Tavern are the consummate professionals and best hosts ever. We love coming here. It’s our Cheers. Love all of them. Always on point. XO
My husband and I joined two other couples for dinner on a Saturday night. We were greeted by a a friendly hostess. We sat at a round table which was perfect for our group.
We had a great waiter who brought our cocktails to us promptly (I loved the Maclaren!!) and we ordered Brussels sprout chips and lemon chips- YUM!!!
5 of the 6 in our party ordered the Marlowe burger and one guest ordered the Steak Frites. Everything was delicious, the service was great and we will definitely going back soon!
Service was incredible from start to finish! Thanks to all, but particularly waiter Ian for such delightful treatment of 2 old’ ladies’. Food and all were great too!
Good drinks. Great food. Pricey menu. Awesome atmosphere. Attentive service.
Tables are too crowded, and place was generally too loud. We went for a late lunch, so it may be better during off hours.
The crispy polenta was one of the best things I've ever eaten in 54 years
Great service. Cold coffee - had to upgrade to an Americano. The fritters was quite nice. The baked eggs were terrible. Felt more like a gruyere cheese dip with a mediocre egg than anything else. Should have sent it back. The polenta cake breakfast was delicious.
Open kitchen makes for a very loud experience - we sat right in front of kitchen. Our waiter could hardly hear us.
Food was excellent. We had to wait over an hour for our entrees on a Saturday night, but the server brought us extra deviled eggs while we waited and two slices of cake for our birthday girl celebration. Looking forward to coming back to try other menu items.
Loud like a wind tunnel.
We celebrated my nephew's 21st birthday and could not have had a better time! Patrick and Ian as well as the entire staff treated us like "regulars" and made the night very special. The food was fantastic -- halibut delish, and the lemon chips -- well, they are going to require a follow up visit! Yum...
The enegry is great for all ages, there was a couple in their 70's next to us and a couple in their 30's on the other side -- we all had a great time. Not intrusive, just fun. Go if you love being out with people and feeding off the vibe -- and great food and service
Great ambiance and food.
Service was great and food was delicious.
The Chicken was much better the previous time. So I guess it could be more consistent. Service was great
All dish were on point and really enjoyed the Oaxaca sin drink to start.
Won’t go again for birthday celebrations!
Everything was absolutely delicious and beautifully served!
My steak (with frites) came out on the cooler side while my friend's celery root came out cold! And, we had to ask for salt and pepper and the waiter told us they don't automatically set out salt and pepper because the chef is confident that the food doesn't need it!
Loved it and will look forward to returning.
Brought my mom here for her birthday and we both devoured our plates. Cocktails were delicious, the staff were friendly - what more could a girl ask for? Looking forward to my next visit!
The dining experience was fantastic as always! I have never had a bad meal here. I highly recommend it.
The waiter made sure our celebration for my husband’s last day on the job was fun! Free champagne and dessert!! Very nice!
It was incredibly loud, and part of our entree came out very cold. Like it had been sitting there for a while. The servers seemed really overwhelmed, and for such an expensive restaurant that adds a 6% extra fee on top of tip, it was disappointing. Hope it was just an off night.
Vibe was great with some tasty starters (wagyu jerky and jalapeno deviled eggs) and unique cocktails. The burger looked great and while I went with the ribeye, I had burger envy. The ribeye was good but not great. Others had the stripped bass which was very good. I’d definitely go back again.
Very nice place, great location , great vibe and the brunch was excellent .
Food was high quality. Menu is fairly short. Dessert very limited. Good wine list.
Beautifully appointed restaurant with a lively atmosphere. The food is innovative and very good. My only complaint was that it was a very cold night and every time the door opened, we got hit with a blast of cold air and had to put our jackets back on. Also thought the $35 corkage fee was too high, not used to paying more than $25, and quite often less. Great place though and would definitely try again, just on a warmer night.
Delicious brunch menu
Great! The waiter was very courteous and patient despite the fact that half our party was 30 minutes late!
Very disappointing. We had a great experience making the reservation and being seated. From that point on our experience was sub-standard. Our waitress was very aloof and it took almost an hour to receive our dinners. We were told dessert would arrive quickly and finally cancelled our dessert when it took over 20 minutes. We asked why it was taking so long to receive our food and did not receive any explanation or apology.
I thought the food too salty and had requested a specific table by number in my reservation and it had already been seated even though the restaurant was not crowded and I had an early reservation. Thus is the second time this has happened. The wait staff were very nice and very professional.
We had reservations, and were seated immediately. Service was attentive and friendly. We received great wine recommendations which paired perfectly with our appetizers, mains, & dessert. We were very taken care of and the food was delicious. The fries are a must!
Love the avo toast and polenta and eggs!hostess and waitress were very friendly and helpful!
Maxx was such a delight. It was out first time and we felt so welcomed.
Went here for brunch. The bloody marys and shrimp and grits were my favorite!
The octopus dish a has slid a bit on presentation...
The food was great, service good, but it is very loud. I'd go back for the food!
Great food. Saturday brunch was excellent. The poached eggs on the truffle oil polenta was cooked perfectly. Best French toast in town. Service was the best.
Loved this place! Very impressed with service, quality of food, ambience, and our server Peter and staff were on it!
The food, service, and decor were all strong. I would definitely recommend this place. I was there for Sunday brunch, with a date.
Disappointed. Had seen the Check Please episode and thought this place would be a great choice for a dinner with my husband. It ended up being more of a place for business colleagues to get drunk. The appetizers were delicious - lemon chips and deviled eggs. We also ordered the Brussels sprouts chips but they came much later after we had to ask about them. Ordered the burger medium but it came out rare. The set up of the dining room is really odd, sitting diners on the corner of booths. Our server was very casual and inattentive. Slow service on drinks (ordered a beer and the McLaren which was tasty). The manager on duty kept visiting the table next to us and leaning his hand on our table as he visited with them. As the evening went on the server appeared to warm up and be more genuine and helpful. But way to late for me. Unique aappitizers and cocktails can not make up for poor customer service and mediocre entrees.
