Park Tavern Ratings and Reviews
Great, large portions, diversified menu, great 'big' burgers... Only con is that it was extremely crowded so we didn't get the requests (for condiments, refill drinks, dressing) quickly enough to enjoy with our meals. But our waiter was vey efficient ---just very busy with other tables.
It was a perfect night to dine outside. We had a reservation for 4 for dinner. We were seated right away. We didn't drink but there were lots of craft cocktails available. We shared fish and chips for 2 along with a Caesar salad and onion soup. All were excellent. Our friends had a chicken chopped salad and crispy fish tacos. The salad was big enough for 3. The tacos were great. The only disappointment was the so- called Maryland crab cake. It is NOT like a Md crab cake. It was more Caribbean style.
The food was great, service by Kate was excellent my big complaint was the noise from the table next to us. The individuals were there before us and did nothing but drink and were obnoxiously loud. If there is suppose to be a 2 hour limit this group probably exceeded the limit. We left after an hour and twenty minutes and they were just beginning to order. I was some up disappointed because I have always had a great time at ParkTavern
Very nice restaurant with diverse menu, including brunch and lunch on weekends. Great cocktails, good food (tasted shrimp and grits and also a burger); both were very good. Outdoor seating as well, which is great this time of year. Have been there several times and will certainly return.
Very very noisy ,half expected it for a Friday evening. Our server was snotty, when we asked for information on the different beers. We like ale beer and we’re looking for something of that type ,instead got something that was too perfume for our taste. My husband had the pulled pork sandwich that was very good , I ordered the octopus appetizer,it was very tender but 1 tentacle cut up in 5 little pieces , I thought was a very small portion and it was served with fried vermicelli noodles that were difficult to eat. Our friends both had the double cheeseburger, they said was good but it looked small to me and they did not seem thrilled with their choice.
When we ordered we had said we wanted separate checks when the server brought the bill it was all on one check. I had been many times to Park Tavern but I think this was our last time.
