Park Tavern Ratings and Reviews
This restaurant is in the heart of Atlantic Avenue we had a nice table outside on a beautiful evening. Our server was great very attentive to our table and made some great suggestions for entree choices. I had the brisket and my wife had the chicken. We both enjoyed our dishes. We shared a salad to start even split it was a nice portion. I would go back again.
It was my first time visiting and I will definitely be back. Not only was my cheeseburger large but not too large it was delicious, the bottomless mimosas for $9.00, which I couldn't enjoy that time because I had work later, my parents enjoyed and I cannot wait to get in on next time. It was a bit loud but my family and I enjoyed our time there and we will definitely be back. Our waitress I believe her name was Samantha was very attentive, positive and what I like to receive when it comes to customer service. I am so excited to come back again for brunch and can't wait to try this place out for a dinner date. Excellent place!
We have been coming to Park Tavern as our "go to"restaurant on the Ave. we previously went to The Office - however the hostesses and service are always great! Very friendly and accommodating! A little disappointed when I asked for more
coleslaw for my pulled pork sandwich. ( which is served with the sandwich )and was told there was an additional charge? This was a first? What the heck ?
We had a great night at the Park Tavern. Our waiter was very attentive and made some excellent suggestions. Our water was never empty and the food came out at a reasonable rate even though it was New Year's. We did not feel rushed and the food was excellent. Definitely try the Prime Rib and the Peanut Butter Chocolate Pie.
Food is always good and the prices are reasonable. Their only real weakness is the high school hostesses who lack an understanding of their job which can make or break your dining experience. We checked in for our table and they said, "thanks, go wait" and never came to get us when our table was ready. When we re-checked in they told us that our table was being cleared but that was lip service because we watched three tables that were available when they said it was being cleared. We were assigned a booth that was not acceptable and when we asked to sit at the table next to it we were told it was going to be part of a 16 seat party and that we could have a small table buy the door. No more than 5 minutes later they sat another 4 patrons at that "unavailable table" This restaurant is much better after the "snowbird" season is over and that will most likely be when we return.
The food was ok, but the waitstaff was obviously very put-off when I asked to hold the "special sauce" from a sandwich. Its one of those places that doesn't put salt and pepper out on the table because apparently the chef seasons every dish perfectly - except that he/she didn't.
We have been to Park many times. Never disappoints. This restaurant group, Park, El Camino and Cut 432 seem to be the only restaurants in Delray that honor reservations on time and at the table you request! server, Samantha, was friendly and very efficient. Caesar salad, chopped salad and pork chop were all great. Great location. On Atlantic bit set back a bit. Perfect.
Was at Park Tavern twice during the week. Both evenings were great. Second dinner we had a slight mishap with nuts in a salad and our server John and the manager handled it perfectly with concern and retraining of the kitchen. The bonus was not charging us for the salad and a complimentary dessert. The cookie and ice cream were outstanding! Ordered a second!
We had a party of six. We waited an hour and 15 minutes for our food. The waitress had an attitude and avoided us. We finally asked to see the manager and he was only vaguely apologetic. No excuse or explanation was ever given. Then when our food did come out it was brought out at different times with the last person receiving their dinner ten minutes after the first. The food was decent but didn't make up for the rest . it was so noisy we could hardly have a conversation. It was my birthday and they ruined the night .
My boyfriend came in for dinner we where promptly seated our server was helpful in picking out a drink from their extensive bar menu we shared a few apps(fish tacos are amazing!) and then had the gnocchi and the short rib burger. The peanut butter pie was a great finish to the whole meal. Overall it was a wonderful evening and will defentatly be back.
Simple food done well. I had one of the best burgers at the park tavern. My wife had a crab cake appetiser that was good but the beet salad was terrible. The restauraunt was very loud and crowded. It was a vibrant atmosphere but hard to talk to people at your table due to the noise. The patrons were young and good looking, dressed to the nines. Waiter service was good and responsive to the needs of the customers. Prices were a little high but not for the downtown Delray Beach area snd not unreasonable.
Longhorns steak is better sorry but true what we paid for was a nice location food was nothing to right home about service was great even cocktails were not good couldn't make a margarita really ugh anyway was pretty but food over priced and just not good oh well we tried...
Park Tavern was unusually busy, perhaps because of the rain. We had a 7:30pm reservation and were seated by 7:45pm. The rain had stopped and we were able to sit outside which was good because it was away from the noise of the restaurant. Our food was great - we got a sampling of appetizers - as was our server. I would definitely recommend Park Tavern... And making a reservation so you don't have to wait too long!
The host team here puts a damper on the experience . Young ladies that don't really seem to understand the meaning of hospitality. There is a bit of arrogance that is displayed which is unfortunate. They are both the first and last impression of any restaurant.
Park Tavern is perhaps the best food on the avenue- the operators here care a great deal and it is the reason we go back. As year-round locals , we love to go here because if the food and generally the service. The only negative is the host team. They give you the feeling they are doing you a favor by giving you a table.
We love coming here! Service is always superb even though it's usually extremely busy. Waitstaff is very knowledgeable and we were impressed by that. Food came out in timely manner and was delicious!! I got the blue cheese brisket and my boyfriend got the godfather burger... So yummy! If you love to people watch, this is the place to be. You can see the bar from the tables and it is like dinner and a show. This place is 10/10
My wife & I frequent Park Tavern with our baby girl and with groups of friends, most of which who also have kids. The food is always great and they are very accommodating to our needs with the infants. Excellent value for what you get and the bottomless drinks for $12 is a nice plus on the weekends.
The food, drinks and service were very, very good, looking forward to going back. We thoroughly enjoyed everything especially the fish dip appetizer, blue cheese brisket (so delicious!), Brussels sprouts & smoked old fashions. One of our favorites restaurants in Delray.
Loved the place the minute I walked in...Great atmosphere, loved the decor and overall setup of the restaurant and bar. The menu is also wonderful, with lots of dishes to choose from. I ordered the Prime Rib and it was amazing, I'm not sure I will ever be able to order anything else on the menu after eating this lol, but next time I def will.
