Park Tavern Ratings and Reviews
Our waiter was great! However, the brunch was really bad. Chicken in the chicken and waffles was a weird color dark meat. Hollandaise sauce for the egg Benedict was so solid it wouldn’t even spread. Would never come here for food! Only do drinks here. They did comp the chicken and waffles. Go next door to farmhouse which is amazing! We left brunch here and went to farmhouse!
I like the brunch at Park Tavern but the dinner we had there was really disappointing. I had a salad with grilled chicken that was incredibly bland and my husband ordered the ribs, which were a joke. Three huge bones with almost ZERO meat on them - maybe enough for two bites. He sent them back and got a burger instead, which was also just average.
We've been to the Park Tavern many times and have enjoyed it. However, our recent visit left us very disappointed. One of our dinners was returned to the kitchen ...twice ! At that time it wasn't worth re-ordering a third time since everyone else was finished eating.
The restaurant called the next day to ask how everything was...I told them the food was delicious and the service was very good BUT the noise level was a bit much for me. I like to be able to hear the people across the table; the person that called told me that they were working on improving the acoustics.
Food was great. Staff was awful. We had ad coffee spill and no one offered any help, napkin or anything. Waitress didn't offer coffee refills once. Table kept rocking (spilling drinks). We were directly next to another table, with the entirety of the rest of the restaurant completely empty. We were in for a business meeting and found the service abysmal. Sort of embarrassing.
My family of 5 (3 kids 6 and under) had a good experience dining here. Staff was friendly and helpful. Everything we ordered was delicious namely Jerk pork chop and The Godfather burger as recommended by our server. Good portion for the price and very well worth every morsel. Kids devoured their mac n cheese. We will be going back! Oh and they offered us complimentary cookies because it's our anniversary.
