It can be confusing for a first time visitor. Dog friendly, open seating in specific areas, view of Atlanta skyline and Piedmont Park is fun. Food is really good (had one of the "bowls").
I was told to seat myself and 15 minutes later no one had even acknowledged me. Finally a server came to my table and explained I was in a "reserved" section that was currently closed.
But after finding an open table, the service was decent and food was good.
Perfect setting if you enjoy having your fur babies with you too!
Was expecting a brunch menu - didn't happen. Service was extremely slow - no fault of our server - he was hopping. Multiple menu items unavailable yet or 'not ready'. Our reservation was at 11:45am, they were scheduled to open at 11:30am. We ordered by noon and did not get food until 12:45pm.
Everything was great except the band doing their sound check was way too loud. Hopefully in the future there would either be another time they could do that or potentially not be at full volume. Otherwise it was an enjoyable time.
One of my favorite places in the city! Thank you for helping make my birthday so fun and the seating location was amazing!
We were charged $5 per person to come in to eat, and if we wanted brunch, the cover was $25 (each) more. So for brunch, we could only get wings and burgers. Kind of a disappointing Pride “brunch.” (To be clear: there was brunch at the establishment, but not for those unwilling to pay an extra $25 per head.)
My fiancé and his best friend share the same birthday of October 6th so we had a birthday luncheon.
Park Tavern was once my favorite spot in the city. I was disappointed in the changes. The atmosphere has certainly shifted to the Millenial crowd. The outdoor seating has been enclosed in an unbecoming frat boy manner. The service was good, but the portions were small. And what happened to the wonderful Sangria?!
We absolutely loved it. I'm so glad that we made a reservation though because within an hour of being there there was no seating left. surprisingly the temperature was perfect but we did get there first thing when they opened and stayed till just after 1. I was honestly amazed with the entire menu. We did appetizers and unfortunately filled up before we could even get to the food. It was a wonderful experience and we are already planning our next trip.
We came in to Park Tavern and had a little bit of a wait before someone came to assist us. My date actually had to get a waitress’ attention in order for us to be service. Besides that, everything else was good and we enjoyed our food. It was my birthday but we didn’t receive any type of extra incentive for celebrating a major event there.
On a friday night with reservations at 7:30 and having our order placed at 8pm for a table of 8, and not receiving all of our food until 9:30, minus that, the environment of the restaurant was nice that included a great view of Piedmont Park.
Our server was awesome! We had to add tables and chairs and outgrew our reservation by 6 people and we started with a table of 20. Kacey was awesome
Great place for lunch. More fans for outside would be nice since it gets so hot.
Had a great experience, food was good but a little slow getting our orders. We were told there a few wedding receptions which caused the delays.
I have never before been to a restaurant like Park Tavern, it truly is a unique space. It was a wonderful experience from the time we sat down, from the ambiance (we sat outside), to the great music, to the superb customer service. I cannot wait to return!
Great atmosphere, food and drinks on point!! Had a great time!
Seated quickly and food was delicious!
If you love dogs or love to bring your dog to dinner this is the place! Food was very good and not too expensive. Very casual and nice view of the park.
We have visited Park Tavern on several occasions. We enjoy the food and the environment. However, on this particular day, there were 2 weddings scheduled on the property. No parking was available. Actually parking was closed if you were not attending one of the weddings. We had reservations for dinner, so I was somewhat confused. Why allow us to make a reservation and know that you will not have any place to park. There were no other parking lots nor street parking available due to a Caribbean Fest in the park. It was absolutely terrible. So if you plan to visit, please ask about the parking availability. The availability of the lot has always been an asset. And you may want to inquire as to how many weddings are scheduled on that day within a hour or so between them.
The food was delicious but the restaurant was very HOT and we were inside. Also, it took over an hour to get our food out to us.
We reserved top seating, but the table was in the tent area. I am a dog lover, but our table had dog hair on it, dog hair was were on the plates, fans were on, so fur was floating around.
Not a good day for our server, but food was good and it’s a great place for family get together on Sunday.
Sitting outside on the patio enjoying the hot air balloon festival was so much fun at Park Tavern! Our server, Casey, was attentive, sweet and fun. My granddaughters love the impossible burger! The sushi is so fresh! My family from Venezuela is very picky about seafood and they loved it! Those Park Tavern etched wine glasses are so pretty!
Thank you so much for taking time out of your day to write a review. We appreciate it & hope to see you again soon! Best, Park Tavern Managers
Great birthday dinner with my daughter and her friends. Service and food was superb!
This is the best place to take your dog. I was a little bit nervous since it was my first time going here. They didn’t even bat an eye when I showed up with my 2 furry friend and 2 kids to boot. We were here because of the Balloon festival. We had reservations to sit outside and had a wonderful meal of burgers and fries. They have video games and a couch for the kids and bowls of water for the dogs. I could not ask for more! Will be definitely returning.
We came for my husband birthday and it was nice , I didn’t like the fact it was pet friendly around food ...but the atmosphere was nice and different, drinks was okay and the food was great , prices were even better . Service was a little behind but we didn’t mind
Had a blast at Park Tavern! Enjoyed great food and drinks while watching the sun go down while listening to Yacht Rock Schooners!! It's a family friendly environment!!
We’ve been here a few times before. It’s actually in our rotation for eating places. I recommend it highly. It’s a dog friendly establishment. So make sure that your little one’s are ok with dogs.
The Salmon bowl is AMAZING! Lynchburg Lemonade double is very refreshing!
Always come here when I visit ATL!
Great location with reasonable drink prices and good food!
We’ve been here before. The service (Lee) is nice. They have a chocolate desert that is a chocolate lover’s fantasy.
There are plenty of dogs, so don’t bring a person that is afraid of dogs. Some pets owners give their dogs a longer leash.
Our large group had a blast at Park Tavern. Lee was a great server. We will definitely return again.
We really enjoyed the food and atmosphere. There was somewhat of a delay with our entrees. The appetizers were quick to come out.
It was Father’s Day and we really enjoyed the atmosphere. The food was good for my daughter with her Gi issues. The menu offered some gluten free options with 100% all natural chicken. I had the chocolate lava cake with ice cream. There was only one problem, I ordered the cake without the raspberry syrup. And it came out with lots of raspberry syrup. I complained and the waitress took it back, only to be redelivered .... in a different plate. The chef laterally just scoop it up and put it on another plate. So needless to say, raspberry syrup was still underneath the cake.
The Father’s Day brunch was less than impressive. My food was cold and the selection of food was very minimal. Everything advertised wasn’t available. The lines to get food was very long and the buffet was not getting refreshed quick enough to handle the people who were there, we had to also wait for plates. The price paid didn’t reflect the amount of food available.
Awesome groups of people. Love it
The food, drink, setting, people, and value are exceptional. We’re already planning our next visit.
My husband and I stopped here for a light dinner and cocktails before a concert. It was a nice day, so we sat outside. The restaurant was pretty full, and everyone was in good spirits. Our food was good and our waitress was nice. We will be back in the future.
It wasn't a good experience for me and my family. It was extremely loud, the wasn't good.
