   Wanted to trying something new. Attached to a hotel and it was odd hours so they were running bar service only. It’s an obligatory hotel restaurant. I thought it was very overpriced for quality and service, unfortunately.

   Went on a Saturday night and only one other table had people. We had the cheese curd appetizer which we actually enjoyed, although the breading was a bit thick. My entree was the spinach artichoke stuffed chicken- it was inedible and burnt. I had one bite. My daughter ordered the burger which was just okay and the cornbread topped Mac and cheese which had a very grainy texture with no flavor made with penne noodles. Would not recommend.

   The service was great. The meal was enjoyable. We nearly had the place to ourselves which made for an enjoyable, intimate dinner with close girlfriends. I would come back!

   The food was great. Unfortunately, they didn't know about our reservation, so weren't aware that 14 people were coming. Service was good, not totally on the server. The menu was the lunch menu instead of dinner. I checked the website nothing noted about changes or that they didn't open until 4pm. (Time of our reservation) I realize some of this is on COVID issues with inventory. I would definitely go back but now I would go on the understanding they might not be up to 100%. Beautiful space and VERY nice people. They apologized.

   Waitress was excellent but it’s a hotel bar so everything else is mediocre. The bartender refused to upgrade my spirit but the manager stepped in and made an excellent drink.

   Basically lives up to general restaurant principle of avoid hotel restaurants if you can. Overpriced for the quality, servers that did not know much about the food, and food that was underwhelming. First and last time there!

   This is a perfectly decent, though somewhat higher priced, option near the Wells Fargo Arena in Des Moines (it's connected to the Arena by skywalk). There variety of menu choices available is modest. We had two different dishes - the chicken and the salmon. Both were decent, the chicken was a little dry. The presentation is clearly a priority, and the dishes looked lovely when they came out. The wine pours are generous. The place is fairly brightly lit, and ambiance is somewhat average. Bar service to tables at the restaurant seemed to be delayed by a large convention event when we first arrived. So, while things were generally just fine, the price was above where an expectation of "just fine" sits well.

    Although the food was good, I would not recommend. I was surprised that the setting was within the hotel lobby. I wasn't expecting this after I had glanced at the on-line pictures. Also, the time to get our food served was an hour, for Ravioli. Even more, is was under cooked and the center was cold.

    We were surprised at how empty this place was on a Friday night. We literally had the only reservation. We noticed the other reviews all seemed to be very positive from reviewers coming from cities like Chicago and San Francisco where they actually know something about good restaurants, and negative from locals (which doesn’t surprise me since the reviews were not for an Olive Garden). We gave it a shot before a show and were shocked at how empty it was. It took a few minutes for us to be seated, but not horrible. The waitress was very friendly and helpful with suggestions. It did seem a little odd how long it took to receive items after ordering, but we never felt ignored, the kitchen likely also services the rest of the hotel as well (we saw plates going to the bar area). And when the food arrived, it was worth the few extra minutes. I had the slow braised ribs and I could’ve eaten it with a plastic spoon. The meat fell off the bone and melted in my mouth. My SO had the ravioli, which were good, not quite filling enough. Overall this place deserves a higher rating, but the locals would apparently rather go to Cracker Barrel so they can eat faster.

    The environment was fabulous however we had some rough service. It was clear the restaurant was under staffed for the number of customers, so various basic service things such as drink refills and getting our checks were very slow. Our waitress was extremely friendly when at our table, and good to respond when something was needed but it was hard to get her attention as well. Again, this was definitely a staffing issue as I dont think they anticipated the number of customers for a concert

    Visited last night for restaurant week hoping to have a good experience. Over all the service was not good. Took an extremely long time to get food or drink. Thinking that restaurant week would mean they are going to put out their best left me disappointed. The 1st course of the meal was the best by far. Other courses were lacking. In spending $100 for a Tuesday night I would have expected a lot more. Most likely not going to return to this location.

    We came for restaurant week and loved our food, especially loved the salmon toast and panna cotta. Our service was slow, but it was restaurant week. Would definitely recommend and dine again

    I was there for restaurant week so we had a special menu, but we did try the mushroom pizza. This was the best pizza crust I think I have ever had. It was chewy without being tough and delicious. Basically it was a perfect Neapolitan crust. The special appetizer I had was the burrata caprese. This was spectacular. The pasta was good (needed just a little salt) and I took it home for leftovers and it was even better the next day! The dessert with blueberries was out of this world. I have thought about going back again this week just to have it all again! I was just so overly impressed with this restaurant we almost skipped because it was in a hotel lobby. Which is the ONLY downfall of the restaurant. There is an open wall between the lobby bar and the restaurant. The noise from the bar traveled into the restaurant. It wasn't so loud we couldn't hear each other at the table, but it created a din of noise. Our server was awesome. I just loved it. I can not say enough good things. I will go back.

    Went during Restaurant Week. The Burrata Caprese for appetizer and panna cotta for dessert were both fantastic. The mushroom pasta I wouldn’t recommend. Will definitely go back and try more things!

    Located in the downtown Hilton Hotel, I thought the Park Kitchen would be a great place for lunch. The menu is fairly limited but the food was very good. Even though it was a little after 1, the service was slow and the restaurant wasn’t busy. I think that it caters more to the breakfast and dinner for the hotel guests.

    I recently visited the Park Street Kitchen for a business lunch. Since it was a beautiful day, we were able to sit in the very pretty outdoor dining area. The three of us all ordered different items from the menu and all sere served hot and as ordered. They were all tasty and enjoyable. Unfortunately, the restaurant appeared to be very understaffed at noon. We were seated promptly but then waited 15+ minutes for someone to take our drink order. Since is was obvious that staffing was a challenge, we also ordered our meals at that time. The food came out in a timely manner, but was quickly dropped off and the server went on to other things inside the restaurant. I realized that we did not have silverware and had to go ask a server for some. It took almost another 10 minutes before it was delivered. The three of us all ordered different items from the menu and all sere served hot and as ordered. The meals all tasty and enjoyable. I would return for the food, but I'm not sure that I will take the risk of service not improving.

    Thought we were going to a Sunday brunch, but were told brunch was on Saturday. Regular menu was not anything special. Outdoor patio was OK for a hotel.

    After reading the review in the DSM magazine, we were looking forward to homemade pasta, slow-simmered meatballs and their signature pork tenderloin dish as featured in the magazine. To our disappointment the menu was littered with typical hotel food, although their were two " Mediterranean dishes" on the menu, Pizza and spaghetti and meatballs. The experience make us wonder who wrote the review for the magazine.

    Bizarre - food was fine but service was clueless. They told us they didn’t open until 5 (it was 5:45 when we got there), and they couldn’t find us a server. Brought the wrong drinks and just generally seemed annoyed they had to serve us. Won’t go back.

    Service was extremely slow, although staff was friendly and apologetic. Seemed like they were understaffed and now sure what to do. Food took an hour to get out. The server said it was because of the salmon that my husband ordered. Last time I checked salmon takes 10 minutes max to cook. Food was ok, but expected more for the price and the fact that the restaurant is in a Hilton hotel. Disappointing.

    This was our first time and a very pleasant one. We came on Mother’s Day and the buffet stations were great. The buffet stations that were hot were hot and the fresh cold buffet stations were nicely kept fresh and cold. Very good service as well. Will come back again.

    Their Mother's Day brunch was FANTASTIC! We were totally blown away by how thoughtfully everything was done. There was a wide array of things from prime rib and omelets to smoked salmon and a bacon bar. The rose bar was also awesome. We will absolutely be back for lunch and to sit on the patio!

    We had Easter brunch at Park Street Kitchen and our entire party (4 adults), were very impressed. The food stations were scattered throughout the dining area so there weren't any long lines or congested areas. All the food was delicious and all tasted and appeared to be very fresh. I can honestly say they served the BEST french toast I've ever tasted! It was obvious that the Chef in charge of the brunch was highly invested in producing a delicious brunch buffet that was out of the ordinary and presented beautifully.
