This place was a pleasant surprise, since it's tucked away in a not-so-fancy mall strip. The ambiance is amazing, and it makes you fell you're in a cool NY place. Service was great. Wine selection is good, and so is the food. I'll def be coming back.
Great spot! Food, wine & service were all fantastic!
Jessica is always amazing. The new owner is a really nice gentleman and always comes by to make sure that all is well. Food is always delicious and the ambiance is perfect for a date night. It’s one of our favorite places as it’s not a huge restaurant.
Great place! Food is excellent. Varied selection of fine wines. Quiet ambience with friendly professional staff.
Pre-Covid Vino was one of our favorite places to go. They had amazing Italian food, good service, and a reasonably good wine list.
Unfortunately, that has all changed since our last visit (about a year ago). The food is now mediocre, the service is poor, and the wine list has shrunk.
We were told ownership changed about a month ago and it appears then entire staff has turned over since our last visit. I guess all good things must end eventually but we are very sad we can no longer recommend this establishment.
The chef is brilliant she is creative and everything tastes amazing. The waitstaff are wonderful and the new owner is pretty cool and he is helping his team I love it. Oh and the wine selection is the best.
The most tender calamari we've ever had. Thinly sliced and tasty. Almost melts in your mouth.
We had a great time. I wish they had a bigger food menu , but fun atmosphere. We will be back
Great food. Lively. The owner spent time with us. The wait staff was very nice
The food was great. We sat outside.
The hostess and servers did not wear masks.
Great place, nice atmosphere and excellent foodd!!
Amazing service! Food was even better!
Food was delicious and service was excellent
Amazing wine list, friendly servers, great unique food preparations
Incredible experience. Amazing food. Friendly service.
Love it every time
What a hidden gem! Gemma (sp?) was spot on with her wine recommendations and Jaime was so warm and welcoming. We enjoyed talking to them both! We loved it so much, I'm going back this week with friends.
The restaurant has a giant issue for us. None of the employees (including the servers) wore face masks. When we politely asked for a server to wear a face mask while serving us, she stated wearing a mask was not mandatory and said the rules were up to the owner. (The very nice and sociable owner was present this evening)
She offered for us to eat outside, but it was very cold, and it made no difference because she refused to wear a mask while serving us.
I think it is a bad decision because we would like to go back, but unfortunately we will not, unless they change their policy.
The food and ambiance was very good, the service was not that good, understandably because they were short a server. We will not be back.
Don’t go here! Sadly my experience was not impressive! I was not aware they were serving a limited menu on the night I went nor did I know what the items offered were until after we were seated. Their selection was not very well chosen. And had I know this in advance, I would have cancelled my reservation and gone elsewhere. When I have to give my credit card to secure a reservation, I expect better food and selections. And because of this, I also expected a much more upscale dining experience. The food was mediocre at best and was VERY expensive. The dessert was not impressive at all; it was listed on the menu as molten white chocolate lava cake. I have ordered these elsewhere and they are usually dark chocolate, so the white chocolate caught my attention. What I was served was 2 small yellow cakes shaped like a donut that were drowning in white chocolate which had been poured over the top of these two small cakes; this was not by any stretch of the imagination a molten lava cake! A 10 year old could have done better and read a recipe for how to actually make a molten lava cake. Chocolate molten lava cake has chocolate oozing out from the center after you cut into your first bite; not poured over a cake and pooling in the plate. Very disappointing from start to finish!
I will never go back nor will I recommend this place to anyone. It looks good, but as we know and was confirmed by my dining experince, looks are deceiving! So, spare yourself! There are too many other wonderful choices in the area to waste your time and money here!!
Delicious food and beautiful setting! True Italian food!! Can't wait to go back!
The ambiance and food was excellent. Only concern not everybody was wearing a mask.
Great food, great service and great atmosphere
Restaurant was crowded inside (there were only two to three two seater tables outside in the store front and it was cold so everyone wanted to be inside) but it wasn’t obnoxiously loud. A lounge singer was walking around singing (a nice touch) but when I went to sit at the table I felt that it was really close to the table next to us and had to squeeze by to get in. The waitresses/hostess/bartender (all the ladies working seemed to fill all three positions) were very nice but they did not seem to know the menu items very well. We ordered the charcuterie and she couldn’t tell us what one of the cheeses were. Some of cheeses was also a little hard (as if it had been sitting out a while, but it was cold too so maybe it just got tough quicker...). The wine selections were a good too. Don’t know if I’d return on a crowded time again but am willing to try again.
The food and service was great. The ambiance was super romantic. Great place for a date night. Wine was delicious. They make accommodations for guests with special diet requests.
Great find! Could be best Italian meal I've had in South Florida. The gnocchis melted in your mouth and the lobster fra Diablo was delicious. Gary the owner came to say hello and comped our dessert!
This is a romantic restaurant with a great environment and incredible food. The service was friendly and helpful. Wine selection was outstanding. The only negative aspect was that the restaurant was tiny and the tables were cramped. The need for more creative spacing would be helpful to make this a strong 5 star restaurant.
Ripoff alert. Asked the server which of two 15$ wines by the glass she would recommend. She leaves and the bartender walks over, dumps a glass of wine into my glass and leaves without saying a word. So of course when the check comes it’s a 25$ glass that she chose and poured without telling us. Never ever ever going back.
Fun place with good food and wines. Great meatballs with ricotta, linguini with shrimp and chicken Milanese. Desserts great!!
Gnocchi came cold twice. We ordered a bottle of wine two apps and a main course and asked to slowly bring because we wanted to take our time and came all at once. We sent the gnocchi 2x as it was frozen in the middle. I came to this place 3 times in the past and it was disappointing this last time unfortunately
Very nice beautiful decor food excellent service good but we waited 45 minutes for a table with a reservation
Sabrina is the best
Thank you so much!
To review a restaurant based on a New Years Eve experience isn't fair to the restaurant. Limited menu and seating options, etc. However I found the ambiance very cozy and authentic. I was wondering why such an authentic Italian restaurant was playing "pop" sounding music in the background instead of Italian music, but then again it was New Years Eve. I will definitely return.
Many of the menu items they did not have. Very disappointed.
Hi David, Thank you so much for your kind feedback, we apologize for this incident that happened at the time of your visit, sometimes we do not receive the freshest ingredients to our food, as we depend on local ingredients to prepare and season our food with. We promise you a 10 times better experience when you visit us next time. We wish you a Happy New Year!
Manager asked us to leave 5 minutes after paying the bill. At about 8:25pm. Assume it was the manager as she hadn’t come to our table prior. Rest of the service was fine. I Had a 6:30 reservation. It was 8:30. Place was empty until about 7:15. Told us people had been waiting for 30 minutes. Why is that my problem? Had a bottle of wine and food. Nobody standing and “waiting” and bar seats were available. Wish I got her name, but didn’t want to be problematic.
Entertainment was nice
Overall very good
Small and quaint with lovely people to help you. Enjoyable evening out with music.
Everything was wonderful
We enjoyed our visit to Vino but the service was a little spotty, some of the wine prices were a bit high. There seemed to be some inconsistency between the retail price of some of wines on the list and the per glass charge. I did, however, enjoy seeing some things that were a bit more obscure like the Nebbiolo from Valtellina. Also, it seemed that the person who appeared to be the owner had some regular customers but ignored the new ones.
