Both my wife and I really enjoyed our food as well as the drinks. The cocktails, while seemingly small for the price - tasted excellent. We had the steak as well as the tacos appetizer (as a meal) with the side of carrots. The carrots do have a strong rosemary flavor. We both thoroughly enjoyed our food. The lighting inside was darker, but the atmosphere was fine - enjoyable. Definitely plan to return (multiple times).
A few of us went to Park restaurant for dinner and had a perfectly delightful time. It was slightly dimmer and louder than expected but the service was excellent.
Far too loud on the weekend to chat at the table. Doable if you are willing to scream at each other. ...and how are you completely out of salmon - all types/kinds/menu items???
Food was very good. Highly recommend bacon 3 ways and the toasts -> each is generous to share with the table. They have a nice savignon blanc on the menu, but would have loved a sancerre option. Waiter was a bit aloof, could have been more friendly, forgot to tell us the special entree until he was there to take our order. We love the vibe, location is easy in and out of Harvard square.
Through conversation, we tease our of our waitress that it was her first night on the floor. We'd never have known otherwise -- Kristen was poised, knowledgeable, and friendly. She knew the menu well, managed questions and made recommendations with confidence. She checked on us appropriately. Kristen added to the great good, beverage, and all-around enjoyable dining experience :)
Laid back atmosphere with great food. The lighting was a little too low, but the ambiance was good otherwise.
I got the clam chowder and beet salad. The food was pretty tasty, though not amazing. I got a Dead Ringer to drink which was very tasty, probably the best part of the meal.
The service could use some work. Our server mumbled a couple of words to us that we assumed was asking us if we wanted to order, though we couldn't really tell.
The food came out at lightning speed which really threw off the pace of our meal. My clam chowder came without a spoon, so I had to flag the server down for that. Additionally the server seemed really intent on turning our table over very quickly, and came by a couple of times when we were clearly still eating to ask if he could clear some plates.
All told we were in and out in 45 minutes, which just felt very rushed.
I used to really enjoy this place but I'm not sure if I'll be back after this latest visit.
Wait service was friendly and attentive with good timing. I unfortunately ordered the veggie burger which was mushy with no distinctive flavor. Very disappointing. My friends seemed to enjoy their meals ok but I felt the prices were high compared to the quality of what was served.
Perfect Harvard Square location to meet friends for lunch (tell them to walk towards Staples). Staff was friendly and food was excellent. My only regret was waiting until my daughter's senior year to try it.
Had the steak and eggs which were both good. Had been to the restaurant acouple times. If you can, sit in the Den.
Space & seating were great & accommodating. Appetizers were good.
Meal came within 10 minutes of placing our order which tells me food is not fresh and is pre made & plated. The Wine came after meal was served (which is not protocol). Waitress was nice but rest of waitstaff kept bringing beverages & food from other tables thinking it was our order. Staff needs training.
Sorry, but thought you need to know.
Park is a very solid Harvard Square choice for a casual meal. Service and dinner menu are "good, not great." The brunch menu delivers much more value, so I would recommend brunch over any other meal at Park.
Staff were so friendly and helpful. We had a nice table by the fire on a chilly Sunday with a great lunch and drinks. Liked the cocktail menu a lot!
Waiter kept forgetting about us and there was a draft from the window behind us but very good food and drinks.
Highly recommend PARK for its vibrant bar scene and innovative cocktails.
Nice ambiance. Long list of drinks & choices - cocktails, wine, beer. Food was quite good but not amazing (though the bacon/parm "potato skins" were). Great music soundtrack while I was there. Good spot for drinks, as well as a casual meal.
Pork belly risotto was watery, tasteless, and reminded me of rice porridge/congee.
What a perfect spot for winter dining in a cozy setting with incredible comfort food and excellent mixed drinks. The service was attentive and friendly. My friend and I shared three appetizers that were sizable and filling! This was my third time to Park, and my friend's first and she will definitely be back. The small toast appetizer with a nice variety of flavors and textures on individual toasted baguette was wonderful. Even the Caesar salad with chicken has a nice tangy dressing and was a stand out. LOVE this place.
The patti melt was mainly bread and little meat
Great brunch options for kids and adults and very reasonably priced. The staff was excellent and I would certainly return.
The waiter must have been new, which waS fine, but clearly he didn't have good training. He brought the chowder with the meal, charged the same meal multiple times on the check, which means he nor anyone else looked at it before giving it to us. Really poor service which I assume was poor training.
The chowder potatoes were hard. The soup was warm not hot.
Overall, a disappointing experience. We have had 3 good experiences there which is what brought us back despite the 45 min ride to get there. I doubt we will be back.
Enjoyed dinner after an early show. We had a reservation and though the show didn't last as long as we expected, the hosts accommodated our early (45 min) arrival. Comfortable seating. It was a busy Saturday evening and despite the crowd, it was not as loud as one might expect. Wide array of small plates. The Bacon Three Ways was outstanding. The entree selection had something for everyone; I would describe it as updated comfort food. The Fried Chicken, Truffle Mac & Cheese and Green Bean Casserole was worth every calorie. The Patty Melt was cooked perfectly. We'll definitely be back!
Good menu options and libations in a cozy atmosphere.
Great service. Food was just ok
Awesome all around!!
A must repeat
Chose based on yelps and trip advisor, near hasty pudding theatre.
We really enjoyed our return to Park. It's a nice combination of a certain energy with a warm casual feel. Very Millennial I would say. The variety of seating settings really makes Park feel like being at home or the home of a friend/family member. We had a cute little table for three tucked away in an alcove; good people watching angle, but still cozy for us. The waitress appeared instantly as did our beverages. Park has a compact menu with something for everyone in a variety of settings. Apps and bites are alternatives to entrees. Something that matches why you are there and for how long. I had the meat pie of the day. It was a little bun of flakey crust with excellent chicken in a delicious sauce. One dining partner had the bolognese and the other stuffed acorn squash. We had to run to make the Harvard game so we did not have desert. I recall them from our first visit as delicious. I highly recommend Park. Free parking in the corner garage Sunday to Wednesday!
This was my worst experience at a restaurant and it was so bad it deserves a review this poor. I was waiting to be joined by my date when I was sat down. The waiter only gave me water and proceeded to ignore me 10 minutes. I know because I was waiting for my date. And I was waiting to be asked about wanting a drink and was never asked. The guy gave us cheese and crackers, took our orders so it seemed fine! The service WAS Very bad
The Bar Steak was flavorful and wonderfully tender.
Service was bad. They wouldn’t split checks and I ordered a drink at the beginning of the night that never came. Food was decent but overpriced for what it was.
Came here for a birthday date. Would 100% recommend! Neptune's Descent is by far one of the best drinks I've ever had. Everything we ordered was totally awesome. I really can't say anything negative about our experience.
Had an early Saturday evening dinner. There were 5 of us and we enjoyed everything from the appetizers to the drinks to the main course. Something for everyone on the menu.
Bustling, good energy place. Good food with appropriate portion sizes. Waitstaff was outstanding ( shout-out to Jacqueline!). Also, list of beers was very good and staff reco was spot on.
All was great. Only slight complaint was that the music was too loud.
The ambiance and decoration is very chic but cozy. We put in a special request to have one of their unique and comfy couch seats and we were accommodated without problem - they reserved the nicest table for us. I have been twice and have found the front of the house staff warm and authentically friendly. Folks seem to enjoy working there which makes for a really lovely atmosphere. And last but not least- the kitchen makes great food! I have had an amazing Croque Madame both visits and my friends have raved about their meals!
Food was fab! Only complaint was that our booth was close to the kitchen so our eyes got irritated from someone cutting onions. But really, their brunch menu is awesome!
Trying something new brought us to Park. Food was very good. The waitress had a hard time with getting our drinks on time. Loud for a Tuesday night.
Our experience at PARK did not meet expectations. We arrived for our 11AM reservation and were immediately seated. However, it took over ten minutes for our server to visit our table. I had to ask the hostess to alert our server, and others who were seated after us were served before us. The restaurant was not busy. For most of our visit, the music was awful. It was a lot of 90s music that I had hoped I would never hear again. I appreciate being nostalgic about the 90s and wanting to explore all music genres, but I think something more innocuous would be a better choice for Sunday brunch. Perhaps jazz, classical, or modern alternative. Finally, when I received my food order, my eggs were severely undercooked. I ordered sunny side up eggs, so I recognize that the yolk should be runny, but I believe the whites should solidify. My eggs were completely runny, with the whites being undercooked. My order was corrected, but it was not a pleasant experience.
We love PARK. We visit often for dinner or drinks. We've even stopped by in the early afternoon for drinks. In addition, when family or friends visit us in Cambridge, we take them to PARK. This is why I had to try Sunday brunch. Unfortunately, it was an incredibly disappointing experience, especially when we spent $90 for two people. I will return for drinks and dinner, but I can't say it will be anytime soon.
Amazing service. Always love this place for their cocktails and bar bites!
Went for Sunday brunch for our Mother’s birthday. Had a great time. Cocktails were fantastic and our server Oisin did a great job helping make it a successful meal and birthday.
Great neighborhood spot - the food, ambiance, and staff are all great!
