Our server was amazing
The ambience is great and the starters are delicious. The only small issue we had was that the hostess struggled to find a place to seat our party of 4 comfortably. The first booth was simply too small. We ended up sitting in the lounge area.
We love Park for our regular trips to Cambridge to see shows at ART! Atmosphere is great, service is wonderful and they've gotten us to our shows on time every time. Free parking early in the week is a bonus too. Would highly recommend!
The cocktails were awesome, the food was pretty good.
Great all around! We went for a family dinner on New Years!
Nice atmosphere. Plenty of attention for early New Year’s Eve dinner.
First time here, passed by a few times and wondered what it would be like... could not be better! We had friends visiting from Switzerland and they loved it! Great ambiance, food was excellent, as well as the service! Will return!
My husbands food came well after the other 5 of us were served our meals and ice cold
They did replace it and not charge for it
They also got us out in time to make the theater
I've only tried appetizers, so I cannot give a full review of their food. The ambiance was great!
Cozy spot in Harvard Square with comfortable sofas and unique ambiance. Food is moderate at best for its price - Pork chop was dry and salad was uncharacteristic.
the spot is nice enough and the concept is good. The service was great and the waitress was very accommodating with our questions about the wines. My entree (double cut pork chop), on the other hand, was a real problem on the night we attended. My double cut pork chop was overcooked and dry, the finishing salt on the mashed potatoes was applied with a heavy hand and not very evenly, and the baked apple saw no preparation-- it was simply cored, halved, and baked.
Great place to meet up and grab a drink and good with friends.
My husband and I went there for dinner on a Saturday. We ordered the scallops dinner. The food was good and well prepared. The server was accommodating when I asked for vegetables instead of the risotto. The ambiance was not particularly fun. We had a small table that was pushed next to a wall at the corner of the room. And the wall was not clean. It might be more fun for a larger group, but you wouldn't go to this restaurant for the ambiance. Overall, the value of the dining is fair.
Food was hardly eatable
We arrived at the establishment, and seated immediately. I thought “Oh Great!” But nope. The waiter came up to the table offered water, and asked if we were interested in some drinks. This was the last time we seen the waiter, 30 minutes later our drinks arrived, and another waiter came to take out order by the time we get our clam chowder is past the hour. Terrible Service, on top of that it was freezing cold in there..never again. First, and last time I will step in here.
It was a very pleasant experience
Really nice atmosphere! Food was ok. Would go back for the experience setting but not necessarily for the food.
I was looking for a pre-theater place to catch up with a friend before the show. While the location is great, the food was OK (though the french fries were truly exceptional) and it was just way too noisy for what I was looking for. The bar was hopping; it looks like a great place to mingle after work.
Veggie burger was raw. Ordered fries, but it came with a
salad instead, and the vinegar from the dressing soaked into the bottom bun, making it impossible to pick up. Fries came after everyone else was done with their meal. The draft beer that I ordered was apparently having issues, so the waitress brought me a different beer without asking what I would like instead.
Met a few friends here before a Harvard hockey game. Great server, fun atmosphere, really good meal. I'd recommend it and will look for an opportunity to come back.
The French toast was out of this world!
Food was good, but a bit overpriced, even for Harvard Square. Service was a bit slow, but pleasant enough. Booths are cozy, cocktails are good but fairly "commonly creative". Again for the area. Akin to Foundry, Russell house and other places in Cambridge/Somerville.
Great spot in Harvard Square
Indoors or out excellent vibe
Check out the back room and it’s Woodstock Tribute
Food spot on
Best hanger steak in town
Had Thanksgiving there with my mother. It was warm and cozy, and they had the entire menu plus two special Thanksgiving options. Server was great, bus people were great, hostesses were great. I will be back the next time I'm in Harvard Square! Highly recommend.
We went there for Thanksgiving, and I have a feeling that will be our new tradition. The food was perfect, and the service could not have been better.
We were six for Thanksgiving. Park kindly offered us the choice of the usual menu or the special Thanksgiving menu. Some of us did the one and some did the other. That worked out well. We agreed that we liked the brie en croute best (I've never had on as good). The pumpkin cheese cake was also very good. Molly, our server, was awesome! When we first arrived, the sound system was too loud for us to have quiet conversation. The hostesses quickly turned it down to a perfect level after I asked for their help. The occasion could not have gone better. Thank you, one and all!!
Our waitress was artentive and yet left us alone enough to enjoy ourselves. Love the different ambiance of each room and the openness of the bar area. We ended up ordering many of the appetizers which were delicious. We got there extremely early and had the place to ourselves but it filled up quickly and the wait staff kept up amazingly.
The drinks were overpriced and the food was downright bad. I would not recommend this place. But it did seem like a lively place to meet up with friends.
We have gone here for a couple years, and miss a dish they dropped from their menu about a year ago. (Brisket). The atmosphere is quite comfortable, and they manage the house at the front door very well. Our waiter was very friendly. He did forget to bring us the complimentary cheese which we wondered about. We didn't squawk because we assumed they had stopped doing it, but then noticed others had it. Consistency was one of the things that keeps us interested in the place as a regular dinner spot. My salmon dish was not run of the mill; very nice. The meat pie seemed to be missing one of the advertised ingredients and was blah. Bring back the brisket, and the cornbread, and you'll have us smiling again and showing up more often.
Quick service, really tasty food. Our waitress was really kind although it took a bit to get our coffee. Would definitely recommend.
former fan of park who is now disappointedin it. Reserved table not available -- we were a tad early --so decided to sit at bar. salad served in dishwasher hot bowl. Ick. OTOH bar tender service very good.
Didnt start off well - I sat at my table waiting for my friend for 15 minutes without being acknowledged by any staff member in any way. But the food made up for it, the Veggie burger was delish! Waiter kindly checked to make sure the burger itself was gluten free. Unfortunately it didn’t come with the avocado as the menu indicated, which wasn’t a biggie because I asked for it and he brought it afterwards. When the bill came I was initially charged $4 for the avocado but I mentioned it to the waiter and he had it removed from the check.
I’d go back for sure. The PARK punch was an excellent cocktail.
The starters menu is awesome as is the main menu. There were three of us and we shared 4 starters and some great wine and cocktails. Duck tacos, cheese board, beet salad were very tasty. We also did the assorted topped breads, which was good, not great, but good. The cocktails were a hit and both the Cab and Rose went well with dinner. Easy to make reservations with Opentable and the restaurant followed up a few days before.
I gathered friends for a special reunion and unfortunately it was so loud we couldn't hear each other. Lively bar scene, but not the place to go if you want to have a conversation without shouting. The worst part is that our waitress was terrible. She took over half an hour to take our drink order, then took orders for only 6 of the 8 of us. When the first drinks arrived after 45 minutes, I noted that she hadn't taken my drink order yet. She said "yes I know" with a bit of attitude and offered no apology. My drink took an hour to arrive. On other fronts, the hostesses were helpful in taking my reservation and the food was good. All in all, though, not enough in the plus column to make me want to go back.
Space was really pretty. Good menu and wine list. We had the lobster and crab dip which was delicious was the veggie burger was very underwhelming.
They did everything to help me with my surprise to my girlfriend
Great ambience that inevitably comes with some noise at pick hour. We sat in the “library room”, which is less noisy, to be able to easily hold a conversation.
Crab and lobster dip was great. There were big chunks of claw and crab! Yummm. Salmon was well done, but preferred a little less. Bolognese meat seemed like ground beef alone, less of a blend. Pasta and sauce were very satisfying. The draft list had a nice local variety.
Great ambience and fun experience having dinner with another couple! Local cheese board was filled with a delicious variety of cheeses (hard, soft) with vibrant jellies and spreads! I had the patty melt, which was tasty. Others had the acclaimed veggie burger and special chicken BLT which did not disappoint!
