PARK Restaurant & Bar
Great choice for a Valentine’s date. Salmon dish and cocktails were delicious, and waitress was so warm and responsive.
Love this place for small groups. Was out if both fish dishes at 8:30 on a Thursday night! Not good! Great salads and good duck tacos, though.
Love this place as it was where I met my fiancé, but on a Saturday night it was just too busy to enjoy it like on our first date. Granted, we should've requested a booth beforehand but I hoped for extra consideration as it was his birthday. Food came out super fast and was delicious, but we were happy to move on to the next spot. Highly recommend for brunches however.
We've been to Park many times and always enjoy the food and atmosphere! The hostesses and servers are the best. This last time we were super impressed with the menu! There are so many more fabulous dishes to choose from.
For starters we had: Bacon Three-Way with Crisp Bacon, Arugula, Confit Tomato, Brioche Bacon Deviled Eggs and the Roasted Beets with baby Arugula, Whipped Feta, Candied Walnuts, Cranberries, Dijon Vinaigrette Cheddar, Corn & Bacon Fritters SO GOOD!
Here's what the four of us ordered for dinner: Stuffed Eggplant with Capers, Olives, Tomatoes, Rice, Pan-Seared Salmon with roasted Brussels Sprouts, Parsnip Puree, Piperade Fried Chicken with smoked Cheddar & Boursin Mac & Cheese, Green Bean Casserole and Bar Steak with bacon & Parmesan “Potato Skins”, Arugula & Frisée Salad, Herb-Shallot Butter. Unbelievably all delicious!
The cocktails are fabulous! My husband and I had: Bourbon Street - Orange-Infused Bourbon Rosemary, Simple, Lemon, Angostura Bitters and Job Security- Tito’s, Canton Ginger, Grapefruit, Ginger Syrup.
The desserts looked amazing but we were too full! Definitely check this place out or go back if you haven't been in a while. And what's not to love about free parking in the garage when you dine!!!
Seated exactly where we requested. All staff knew it was a birthday and gave us a warm welcome. Management sent a Prosecco toast. Very thoughtful. Good brunch selections and an awesome Bloody Mary.
We met friends here before going over to the Regatta Bar for a show. Great location, ambiance, yummy drinks and food and good service. Only complaint is that my husband ordered the pork chops and was told that they take extra long to prepare as they are very large/thick. We appreciated the waitress telling us but wish it was mentioned on the menu so he could have known sooner so he could have ordered earlier or not felt rush to find another choice. Otherwise a great spot!
Park is exactly as the photos on the website show, wonderful ambiance right in the heart of Harvard square. Our waitress was very attentive and knowledgeable . The appetizers were delicious especially the lobster crab dip and the mussels.
We enjoyed it so much that we returned after our event to have an after dinner drink. It was much more lovely and loud with a big college student scene
Food not as advertised. Ingredients left out. Service poor.
Park is a cute restaurant with lots of seating and many open tables for Saturday brunch. The server was very nice, but the food was disappointing. On a smoked cheddar omelette there was barely any cheddar, and the menu listed spinach as an ingredient, though it was substituted for arugula without warning and only noticeable once eaten into the center of the omelette (by then too late to request an adjustment). There was no milk available for the coffee, though the coffee in general was good. This was our first visit to Park, though I don't think we will give it another try.
We went to Park for a bite to eat before a play at the ART. The food was really disappointing. The Veggie burger was lacking in any flavor. The accompanying BBQ sauce tasted like tomato paste and the chicken was unseasoned.
The atmosphere was great, but we won't be returning anytime soon
Get the Park fried rice! You will not regret it!
I love Park: the food, the beer, the ambience. However the food I had on my last visit was not as good as it usually is. Still great ambience and wonderfully nice staff. Will definitely go back...
Average food. Small, overpriced drinks. Wont go back.
Our server was amazing
The ambience is great and the starters are delicious. The only small issue we had was that the hostess struggled to find a place to seat our party of 4 comfortably. The first booth was simply too small. We ended up sitting in the lounge area.
We love Park for our regular trips to Cambridge to see shows at ART! Atmosphere is great, service is wonderful and they've gotten us to our shows on time every time. Free parking early in the week is a bonus too. Would highly recommend!
The cocktails were awesome, the food was pretty good.
Great all around! We went for a family dinner on New Years!
Nice atmosphere. Plenty of attention for early New Year’s Eve dinner.
First time here, passed by a few times and wondered what it would be like... could not be better! We had friends visiting from Switzerland and they loved it! Great ambiance, food was excellent, as well as the service! Will return!
My husbands food came well after the other 5 of us were served our meals and ice cold
They did replace it and not charge for it
They also got us out in time to make the theater
I've only tried appetizers, so I cannot give a full review of their food. The ambiance was great!
Cozy spot in Harvard Square with comfortable sofas and unique ambiance. Food is moderate at best for its price - Pork chop was dry and salad was uncharacteristic.
the spot is nice enough and the concept is good. The service was great and the waitress was very accommodating with our questions about the wines. My entree (double cut pork chop), on the other hand, was a real problem on the night we attended. My double cut pork chop was overcooked and dry, the finishing salt on the mashed potatoes was applied with a heavy hand and not very evenly, and the baked apple saw no preparation-- it was simply cored, halved, and baked.
Great place to meet up and grab a drink and good with friends.
My husband and I went there for dinner on a Saturday. We ordered the scallops dinner. The food was good and well prepared. The server was accommodating when I asked for vegetables instead of the risotto. The ambiance was not particularly fun. We had a small table that was pushed next to a wall at the corner of the room. And the wall was not clean. It might be more fun for a larger group, but you wouldn't go to this restaurant for the ambiance. Overall, the value of the dining is fair.
Food was hardly eatable
We arrived at the establishment, and seated immediately. I thought “Oh Great!” But nope. The waiter came up to the table offered water, and asked if we were interested in some drinks. This was the last time we seen the waiter, 30 minutes later our drinks arrived, and another waiter came to take out order by the time we get our clam chowder is past the hour. Terrible Service, on top of that it was freezing cold in there..never again. First, and last time I will step in here.
It was a very pleasant experience
Really nice atmosphere! Food was ok. Would go back for the experience setting but not necessarily for the food.
I was looking for a pre-theater place to catch up with a friend before the show. While the location is great, the food was OK (though the french fries were truly exceptional) and it was just way too noisy for what I was looking for. The bar was hopping; it looks like a great place to mingle after work.
Veggie burger was raw. Ordered fries, but it came with a
salad instead, and the vinegar from the dressing soaked into the bottom bun, making it impossible to pick up. Fries came after everyone else was done with their meal. The draft beer that I ordered was apparently having issues, so the waitress brought me a different beer without asking what I would like instead.
Met a few friends here before a Harvard hockey game. Great server, fun atmosphere, really good meal. I'd recommend it and will look for an opportunity to come back.
The French toast was out of this world!
Food was good, but a bit overpriced, even for Harvard Square. Service was a bit slow, but pleasant enough. Booths are cozy, cocktails are good but fairly "commonly creative". Again for the area. Akin to Foundry, Russell house and other places in Cambridge/Somerville.
Great spot in Harvard Square
Indoors or out excellent vibe
Check out the back room and it’s Woodstock Tribute
Food spot on
Best hanger steak in town
Had Thanksgiving there with my mother. It was warm and cozy, and they had the entire menu plus two special Thanksgiving options. Server was great, bus people were great, hostesses were great. I will be back the next time I'm in Harvard Square! Highly recommend.
We went there for Thanksgiving, and I have a feeling that will be our new tradition. The food was perfect, and the service could not have been better.
We were six for Thanksgiving. Park kindly offered us the choice of the usual menu or the special Thanksgiving menu. Some of us did the one and some did the other. That worked out well. We agreed that we liked the brie en croute best (I've never had on as good). The pumpkin cheese cake was also very good. Molly, our server, was awesome! When we first arrived, the sound system was too loud for us to have quiet conversation. The hostesses quickly turned it down to a perfect level after I asked for their help. The occasion could not have gone better. Thank you, one and all!!
