Park on Fremont is located in Las Vegas, Nevada and provides a restaurant with a laid back vibe and a beautiful setting to enjoy small plates, entres and cocktails. Outdoor patios are available for those who want to dine in the open air. The drink menu offers craft and draft beers, as well as cocktails served in Mason jars.
Park on Fremont has appetizers to please, including various flavors of wings, steak tacos and mac and cheese balls. For those looking for a light meal, the southwest salad at Park on Fremont is an excellent choice. For someone with a larger appetite, fish and chips or the waffle and chicken sandwich are great options.
No one checked my reservation and we were told that we couldn't eat there because we had 2 small kids. I stated in the reservation that we needed seats for 2 small children . No one called to let us know that kids aren't welcome. A bit frustrating . We finally convinced than to allow us to stay since I left the instructions. Other than that we had a great experience .
Surprising quaint little place found unexpectedly on hectic Fremont Street. Very pleasantly surprised with its atmosphere!
Great service. Fun menu. Fantastic drinks!
Park is always a great time, we are never disappointed. This visit, they had live music inside the bar and we enjoyed it greatly!
We were early for our reservation by half an hour but they sat us right away. All the staff was amazing as were the cocktails and food. Having a seat in the back patio was nice atmosphere and the live music wasn't too loud that I couldn't hear my friend. It was a great experience.
After seeing Park on Fremont on 'Man finds Food" I had to go. I checked the website for the menu and found some fabulous choices, the 'Walk in the Park' carafe was so refreshing, I had always wondered what elderberry was, now I know, it is what us Aussies call mulberry (great childhood memories of getting purple stains on our faces and hands) We had the 'garbage fries' and the deep fried mac'n'cheese. Everything was wonderful and the interior decor was perfectly quirky. I loved it. Thank you for a memorable visit.
Love this place so much! I have such a great time every time I go. Thank you!
The food was very good. I arrived during happy hour and the drinks were very strong for the $3 well drink price (which I like). One thing I didn't know is if you make a reservation on here (open table) you will automatically be placed on the dining outside list. They only have 4 or 5 tables inside and the rest are either at the bar or outside. I don't like dining outside so I had to wait an extra half hour to get an inside table. I highly recommend the mac & cheese balls!
Definitely the best downtown restaurant we have ever tried. Great ambiance, phenomenal food. Love the artwork.
first, this is the first time in i don't remember how long that i arrived and the table i had reserved was actually being held for us.
the ambiance was very cool...lots of wood and as i am a cabinet maker thats a big plus. w loved the stuffed birds encased artfully in glass behind the bar. the table was well lit enough to see your food but the room around sunset was still kind of dim...very nice.
the service was attentive, relaxed and very capable.
the menu was small but we were there for the burgers so there was no conflict.
we started with the garbage fries which the 3 of us yummed them up until they were gone.
my bbq burger was probably the best burger i have in 20 years. it was perfectly cooked, the bacon on the burger was the thick applewood smoked variety and the cheese was high end...NOT kraft. i got a side salad instead of fries and it was cold, crisp and huge.
my buddy and his wife got the phillie cheese steak and the portabello burger. as they are from PA they had a critical 'tongue' and loved both.
i trie her sweet potato tater tots and they were scrumptious as well.
all in all i have only good to say and as i eat about half my dinners a year in restaurants, that is high praise coming from me.
we ate inside but we should have eaten on the patio. it is like the 'secret garden.'
Pay close attention to street address numbers. It's located on the corner but it doesn't have a noticeable name on the establishment. You can walk right by it if you don't remember it's street numberIt has more of a bar feel to it but surprisingly the food was pretty good. No kids after 6pm.
lobster fries were not as presented on Guy. F' s show. Would not order those again. Garage fries were delicious. Drinks were tasty and refreshing.
The Ambiance is perfect - choose the backyard tables and enjoy good - and spicy - drinks in this cool biergarten. The service is really friendly and warm.
The food is good - it can be REALLY spicy, watch out. Nothing special, though.
Limited to non-existent menu options. Service slow and wanting. Nothing special especially when you factor in the Downtown parking situation.
Saw this restaurant on "Man Finds Food" an episode which aired 4/8/15. Went there 7/2/15 and the menu item highlighted on the show was no longer available, just under 3mo later. Was disappointed but did have a back up choice. Air conditioning was inadequate making it way too hot to eat. Later, in the hotel, was able to enjoy the food and it was good.
I knew going in this was going to be a more casual place than the Strip, but it was a bit too rough around the edges for me. It's a bar with food. Ok food. Chicken and waffles sounded good on the menu but the waffles were soggy as were the sweet potato tater tots. Chicken strips were covered in the confectioners sugar that covered the waffles. To be truthful, it's probably a good place for a late nite snack after you've had a few. Good bar vibe. Backyard seating area looked cool but it was way too hot even with the misters.
Great place to people watch all the "entertaining tourists" on Fremont if you're at the patio. Cocktails are reasonable and service is what can be expected for a heavily touristcentric venue.
Great service from start to finish. Food was great, and the servers were excellent! Will definitely be making it out anniversary stop EVERY year!
Great little find downtown Vegas. It's in old Vegas but adorable . Go into the back patio that is the best on a nice day. Fund drinks and appts will make the evening/day/night fun. If you are by Fremont street stop by.
Restaurant was featured on the food network and it mentioned a special dish that wasn't on the menu. We took a $30 taxi from the Las Vegas strip to the restaurant to find out they didn't even serve it. Settled for salads....nothing special
We came here for happy hour on a Thursday night. The website indicates it's 10pm-3am, however when we got there our waitress told us it's 11pm. We told her we were going to wait, and she gave us attitude. 11pm rolls around and we order our drinks and food. Most of the food during happy hour is 5$ Not half off (not specified) and none of their cocktails only well drinks which we were bummed about. I order an Irish Honey anyway only when it's delivered it is half full and tastes only like lemon juice. No alcohol. I take it to the bar to be corrected and although the bartender gave me a blank stare and didn't seem to believe there was no alcohol in it, made me a new one which I was grateful for. Overall we love Park on Fremont and wish they had a happy hour menu & updated the exact times on the website so there's no confusion :)
We were a group of six girls celebrating our respective birthdays and looking for somewhere to dine before hitting Freemont Street. Park on Freemont was fantastic - delicious cocktails and creative dinner choices served in a lovely backyard setting (complete with tetter-totter!). The service was impeccable and the live music was an added bonus. Our visit was memorable. Highly recommend Park on Freemont.
My friends and I have tickets to the Broadway series at our fabulous Las Vegas Smith Center. We try different downtown restaurants each month. Downtown Las Vegas has been on fire with new dining options. We went to Park on Fremont and sat outside on a very eclectic patio. Food was great, staff was fun and upbeat, and our Las Vegas pre-100 degrees was perfect!
But don't go for the "secret menu item Lobster Sliders" from Man Finds Food show, as they apparently are so secret even the restaurant doesn't know about them. We've been there before and always enjoy the food and drinks, but we came back this time especially for the item from the show. As with most "as seen on TV" items, all we got was disappointment. We'll still go back when downtown, but not with the same enthusiasm.
Great scape from the hotels and casinos. Amazing ambience. Feels like you are in some charming NYC rooftop!
We really enjoyed it. Great outdoor place to grab dinner and deinks.
Great food! Love the decor! Will definitely go back the next time we're in Las Vegas. Just bummed there wasn't a lobster slider ASOTV.
A friend suggested trying Park on Freemont and I'm glad he did. It was a fantastic evening. The food is really good, the service was excellent as was the ambiance and the value. It looks like a rare non-tourist stop. Worth checking out before experiencing Freemont street at night. And after for the great live music!
Great spot to unwind, enjoy a few cheap beers, and some very unique food! We came for my girlfriend's birthday dinner, although our visit was cut short due to her sunburn from the pool earlier that day, the food and drinks we did have were very good and we can't wait to return on our next visit! It's tough to beat $3 PBR tallboys and wine in mason jars :) The fried mac & cheese balls were great too! Right across the street from the Fremont Street Experience so it is easy to get to and find...near the Heart Attack Grill...just look for the big neon PBR sign!
Yummy food though the meatballs were slightly lean for my taste. Would love to try the frickles at my next visit.
Decor is certainly a talking point. The hidden see-saw is the gem of the spot for sure.
This is a little slice of heaven off the craziness of Freemont. Hipster without being annoying-hipster. Good, simple food and great prices. Excellent drinks and a knowledgable bar tending staff. The courtyard is adorable and cozy. Great place to start a great evening out.
Large group, showed up with a reservation and was looked at weird because it is open seating. Went outside and everything was perfect. From the wait staff to the food to the outside dining. Would recommend this restaurant to anyone.
The food was mediocre at best. I've eaten there once before, during happy hour. The food was much better then. I don't think I will return.
I made this reservation for my family including 8 year old daughter. We were refused entry as it is 21 years or older after 6pm. I had researched the Park website and was most looking forward to their speciality Bloody Mary's. I also noted that minors were welcome on the front patio until 6pm.... No problem I thought the rear patio looks far nicer. Little did I know they are only allowed on the front and until 6pm. My fault perhaps but a clearer message such as "minors only allowed on the front patio. 21 years and older venue after 6pm". Much clearer and I would have avoided this embarrassing situation and a less than satisfactory evening.
our server, who, regretably, I dont remember his name, was absolutly amazing! We were there for an after wedding dinner on july 15 @4pm.He did everything he could to make our day awsome, Including finding a way to accomidate my two nieces, who are 9&11, and were not allowed in the back of the restaurant, which we didnt know at the time.i
As my name states, I am a foodie but VERY picky about what I like. I love good food, but above all, great ambiance and these plays personifies this. Five of us sat outside in their funky courtyard (despite the 100+ weather) and lazily dined on a smorgasbord of tasty foods and drink. All together we had the chicken bar bites (crusted in corn flakes), mac and cheese balls (the best I've ever had!), fish tacos, and chicken and waffle sandwiches. Plus a pitcher of sangria and glasses of craft beer to wash it all down. No complaints about this place and it's on the top of our list for our next visit.
the food was awesome - garbage fries are THE BEST thing i have ever put in my mouth! great service, too!
The staff always goes out of their way to make the experience perfect. Food was delicious. I love the patio for dining - haven't tried it during the summer yet... But I'll eat inside and drink outside.
I showed up at 6:40 P.M. for a 6:45 P.M. reservation I had made on open table about 4 hours prior. I was advised by the host they were closed. When I inquired about my reservation, I was referred to the manager who advised the staff was going to Commonwealth and the decision was made to close because they hadn't had any customers in for the past few hours. I couldn't give you an honest review on most of the above categories, (I could not submit a review unless each category had a rating) but I will say as far as business practice goes, I was less than impressed. A phone call, e-mail or text message would have been helpful as I could've at least made other arrangements for everyone in my party. I would never recommend this place to anyone.
If you are feeling hipster, the ambiance here is good - drinks served in mason jars, Taxidermy birds and some great art on the walls, The music was alternative and a bit more out of date than I was expecting...Mostly Weezer/RHCP, etc. Less bastille, Lorde, etc.... The prices were great the food was pretty good and was large portions, The specialty cocktails are super sweet/girly and the Beer list was a bit uninspired, I usually don't know what I am ordering at a place like this but I know it will be good. But they had all the big recognizable beers and not a lot of microbrews (at least not on tap). Over all it was good not great, I would recommend giving it a try if gastropubs are your thing, since there are not a lot in vegas.
