No real issue with the food, which is ok. But we ordered starters and mains and the mains were served whilst we were still eating the starters! Could have sent them back I guess but would have reappeared having been kept on a hot plate and dried out no doubt. Pretty poor show really but the problem is with the kitchen not the waiting staff.

This place is a gem. The location is perfect in summer with the outdoor patio for people watching, and in winter you can watch the ice skaters. The menu is wonderful with lots of choices for every palate. The service is also very good. The value is excellent for downtown Chicago.

Service and ambiance are great and it's a great location after spending time in Millenium park but the food left a lot to be desired. They over use sauces and salad dressings and the spaghetti and marinara was so bland my kids wouldn't eat it. The restaurant also doesn't have Parmesan cheese which is unfortunate if they are offering spaghetti for kids. My salad was drenched in salad dressing and the calamari comes on a bed of thousand island like sauce instead of having the sauce on the side. If I go again, I'll know to ask for our food to be prepared differently so it's more appetizing. Wish I coujscgive it more stars for the food since the restaurant is lovely.

We were there for Thanksgiving Dinner. Ordered the Thanksgiving dinner entrée and the food was quite bland. Requested and was acknowledged that I can get all dark meat, I did not. Asked if the sweet potatoes where mashed like the regular mashed potatoes (wanting mashed for my little ones) and was told it was, but it was not. It wasn't bad food, nor bad service. Just wasn't WOW. The ambiance was nice with it being a holiday.

Everything was wonderful as far as the food, selection, staff, wine selection, and anything to do with the meal. The only complaint I have is that there is but 2 stalls for restrooms. It was rather crowded when we were there and to wash our hands before the meal it took about 20 minutes. Since we went in 2 shifts to not leave the table bare we missed more than half of the meal together. For that reason alone I would not go back.

We were very satisfied eating here. My wife had the crab cakes - the presentation was very nice and they were delicious. I had the turkey sandwich and a side salad, also a nice presentation and very good. An added bonus during the colder months is watching the ice skaters on the rink just outside the restaurant.

We went on a Friday night around 5:30 and had reservations but it wasn't busy at all. I wish we would be in town next weekend when the ice skating opens, but we loved our experience. The drinks and food were fabulous. The pretzels and salmon were amazing. Our waitress was so kind, and we even considered going back for the last night of our trip. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone! Definitely worth your time!

The food was good and the service was excellent. I was a little disappointed that this "park" restaurant had no views of the park. However, the seasonal ice skating rink was being built while we were there — once it is up, the view of the skaters will be delightful.

Service was polite, informative, efficient and timely. We had tickets to the Harris and we were able to enjoy a fairly unhurried meal and, yet, make the curtain in plenty of time. Look forward to coming back when the skating rink is active and the fireplace is turned on.

Thankfully the Park Grill has remained consistently good over the years. It’s a place I can take clients or friends and be confident we won’t be disappointed ~ we had the Maple Glazed Salmon and it was divine. The chocolate Desert was equally yummy. Great service and a reasonably priced wine list added to the experience

I love the Park Grill Chicago. It has something for everyone. If you want Steak, Salmon, Chicken entrees they are there - if you want burgers or sandwiches or flatbread that’s there too. Awesome bar, and GREAT service. It is nothing super special - just good solid food at a great price with nice people - I ALWAYS include it on a trip to Chicago.

Indifferent service , we sat outside and noticed trash smells. Food came in shifts instead of all at once. Fish & chips was light on fish, heavy on thin cut French fries. As the party departed after dinner we noted two rats foraging in dining area.

My husband and I were going to the Harris Theater. This is the perfect place to have dinner before a performance there. The ambience is nice. If the weather is good, you can sit outside comfortably with a pleasant view of the park. The food is good. Service is very friendly.

We dined pre-Hamilton. We had guests joining us who were delayed in traffic for nearly an hour. Our great waiter, Tony, allowed us to place all of the group's entree orders before they arrived. Even though we had just 30 minutes to dine, it all worked out due to his efforts for us. We'll definitely return!
