Park Grill Chicago Ratings and Reviews
We went on a Friday night around 5:30 and had reservations but it wasn't busy at all. I wish we would be in town next weekend when the ice skating opens, but we loved our experience. The drinks and food were fabulous. The pretzels and salmon were amazing. Our waitress was so kind, and we even considered going back for the last night of our trip. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone! Definitely worth your time!
The food was good and the service was excellent. I was a little disappointed that this "park" restaurant had no views of the park. However, the seasonal ice skating rink was being built while we were there — once it is up, the view of the skaters will be delightful.
Service was polite, informative, efficient and timely. We had tickets to the Harris and we were able to enjoy a fairly unhurried meal and, yet, make the curtain in plenty of time. Look forward to coming back when the skating rink is active and the fireplace is turned on.
Thankfully the Park Grill has remained consistently good over the years. It’s a place I can take clients or friends and be confident we won’t be disappointed ~ we had the Maple Glazed Salmon and it was divine. The chocolate Desert was equally yummy. Great service and a reasonably priced wine list added to the experience
I love the Park Grill Chicago. It has something for everyone. If you want Steak, Salmon, Chicken entrees they are there - if you want burgers or sandwiches or flatbread that’s there too. Awesome bar, and GREAT service. It is nothing super special - just good solid food at a great price with nice people - I ALWAYS include it on a trip to Chicago.
My husband and I were going to the Harris Theater. This is the perfect place to have dinner before a performance there. The ambience is nice. If the weather is good, you can sit outside comfortably with a pleasant view of the park. The food is good. Service is very friendly.
We dined pre-Hamilton. We had guests joining us who were delayed in traffic for nearly an hour. Our great waiter, Tony, allowed us to place all of the group's entree orders before they arrived. Even though we had just 30 minutes to dine, it all worked out due to his efforts for us. We'll definitely return!
The garage below the restaurant was being jackhammered, making it very unpleasant inside. The door handles to get out to the patio were greasy and sticky. The service was not very attentive. The food was good. Loud music added to the overall negative experience.
For my Aunt's birthday, we went to the Park Grill. It was first time for all of us. Our waiter was very polite, but the food was sub-par (at best) and uninspiring for this location. Need to use the restroom? maybe wait until you get somewhere else. They aren't very clean and can use some work. The best part of our meal was the table bread (that we had to ask for) and the company.
Location was great being right at Millennium Park. I was able to make a reservation the night of which was also great. The food was mediocre. We felt it was on the bland side. The server was pleasant but they must have been short staffed on the floor because it took at least 20 minutes for her to come to our table to ask us for drinks. Our food came out lightening fast but again a long time before we got our check. We needed more ketchup but she never came back around until after we finiyour food. Also for the entire restaurant there are only 2 unisex restrooms So be prepared to wait in line.
I've been to Park Grill several times and loved the food everytime. My only complaint was the restaurant was completely empty except for 2 other groups inside and a party going outside. We were sat next to the 2 groups who were noisy and they had the door open by our table elevating the noise level extremely high due to the music from the party going on outside, I did not appreciate that. When I pay good money for expensive food, I expect to be treated right and away from loud noise. I go to places like this to enjoy the time with the people I go with.
