I especially like the way my salad was cut into tiny pieces. I have difficulty with those salads not cut enough, and this was outstanding.
We had a fantastic meal ... only having booked it several hours before on spect. Absolutely delicious linguine, every mouthful was delicious. Lovely ambiance and really attentive staff. A great find
Nice ambience, good food and service. There seemed always to be a line for the two restrooms, which seemed inadequate for the size of the restaurant.
Dressing not on salad at the time of service! Thus boka noodle dish was without taste. Dressing delivered upon request and then the flavor was good. Veggie Burger was excellent.
The food was actually quite good. We shared an appetizer of quest and Guacamole. Being GF I could eat the guacamole and chips. My main course was whitefish with what appeared to be fresh corn and peas. Very tasty. Two issues: the receptionist said I had skipped my reservation ; I was able to fix it while I was there. The restrooms were very dirty and unappetizing. They must pay more attention to this!
service was good, food was above average. was seated promptly at reservation time.
Waiter didn’t return to the table after food arrived. Also took a long time to bring bill.
The Park Grill is actually great, and I’ve been an occasional customer since they opened. Their location is fantastic, service and food are great.
Waitress had too many tables...service was sporadic. Food was good
The ambiance was very pleasant. The food was quite tasty. However, the service was subpar. A bit of an inconvenience as this was a lunch hour get-together and time was limited. Overall, the total grade of the entire experience was a "B-."
Great deal on Wednesday's for wine bottles. Food is just ok,as well as service
The food was really very good! Service was excellent. We told the waiter we were in a time crunch and he made it happen with a smile.
Once order was taken our server didn't check back. We had to flag down someone else because part of our order was missing.
We had a great meal at the Park Grill. Our party had a cheeseburger, turkey sandwich, and the fried chicken sandwich. All were large and delicious. Enjoyed a great atmosphere as we sat outside listening to the live music while we people-watched. Teresa, our server, was fantastic.
The server was very busy but gave great service.
Nice table outside on a beautiful evening! Good food attentive service and nice wine list.
A fine meal with friends to celebrate a Cubs win. The Amish Chicken was outstanding.
Good food but when we ordered dessert it took over 30 minutes to get it to the table and we were late for our next event. Server was nowhere to be found and we were disappointed in the experience overall. She told us dessert was on the house but we were so late we could t even eat it and just paid and left.
Great Burgers! Some of the best in Chicago. The Cheese Curds were also surprising good. Generally wouldn't order these outside of a county fair and did not expect them to be good, but they were light and tasty.
Our waitress was courteous and responsive to our needs. The special birthday cake was especially appreciated.
Wonderful alfresco lunch in an amazing venue. The staff was very attentive and the food was terrific.
Going to Grant Park symphony concert. Can’t beat the location.
Kitchen was extremely slow. Took 30 minutes to get an iced tea. Our waitress did not seem to be the problem. It took way too long to get our food, and when it did get there, we had to wolf it down, because we were seeing a play (we told the waitress about this when we placed the order). Additionally, the bathrooms were out of order, or only one was available for men and women, resulting in a huge line the entire time we were there, making impossible to use.
I was in Chicago for a concert at Millennium Park. Perfect venue to eat before the concert and enjoy the people watching while sitting on their terrace.
Ordered the fish tacos, no flavor, hated them. Other's food was the same. Service was good but the food was not good at all, shame cause we have eaten dinner there a few times and always enjoyed it. Shame cause now I don't know if I can trust going back for dinner in the future.
Always very happy with the Park Grill - very nice and excellent value
Our server was very engaging. Our dessert came out late and we had trouble getting the correct utensils so she comped it without our even asking. The food - turkey sandwich, salads, and sea bass - was very good. The dessert "cookie" was a bit overdone.
The service was great, food tasted fabulous, food came fast, unique options on menu. Seated quickly and done eating within an hour.
Really nice place for a lunch in the middle of Chicago! We opted to sit on the patio and it was nice and shaded, despite the warmer temps. We had some really good food - the chicken cobb salad and a burger. Both were really good, the burger was juicy, and the fries were really thin, which I like. We came around 1 p.m. during the week and it wasn't very busy at all. Good service too!
Food and service was terrific, but I would like to see a greater choice of entrees.
It is a lovely restaurant. Its main drawback is the lack of restrooms. There is always a line for the bathroom and that line can be fairly long.
The food was very average. There were 2 unisex bathrooms, so the line was very long each time I had to take my children to the bathroom. And the hostess staff was quite rude when I requested to be seated outside. I would not return here. I think they know that no matter what they have it is all about location.
It took a while to get service. Decent wine selection and we lucked into half off bottle night. Bonus!! However, the food was mediocre. Steak was diner esque and not prepared well. Medium rare was served more like well done and the cut wasn’t great. The dessert was disappointing.
Everything was off...food, service, ambiance. Way over priced for quality of food. I wouldn’t recommend this place to someone I disliked.
Its location is perfect for attending the Grant Park Symphony....food items delicious.
Had a great meal and wonderful servers.
My wife and I have been here once prior, and it was an amazing experience. This return trip fell a little below our standards after the last visit. First off, when we were ordering our drinks we showed our theatre tickets, and our waiter was not informed that we receive a free glass of wine, so went to get verification. After about 15 minutes he finally returned with our glasses of wine and took our food order. We ordered the Oysters and the Cheese Curds as the appetizers and there were so many cheese curds we couldn't finish them all as we needed room for our entree, and the bottom cheese curds were so covered in grease it would have made us sick. My wife ordered the Cheeseburger which was flavorless, and I had the a la carte Mac&Cheese and Parm Fries which were both really great. For dessert we split the Cheesecake (amazing) and the Mango Sorbet (delicious). Had this been our first experience, we probably wouldn't come back, but given our first experience, I would certainly try again, but on a less busy night as it was extremely loud.
Ordered the Park Grill Chopped Salad and was disappointed. It was a big bowl of chopped lettuce with very sparse toppings for $15. Very overpriced and poor value in my opinion. The ambiance of the outdoor patio is lovely, however the dining room lacks ambiance. Very good, friendly service.
Food was okay. Turkey sandwich lacked flavor. Drinks were very weak.
Food servers brought out a duplicate appetizer and dinner. Service was slow. Staff seemed disorganized.
