Amazing food! Came here for dinner on a Sunday night during a thunderstorm so it was not crowded. Food was DELICIOUS and service was great as well. It is pricey - $20 for one glass of wine.
Ordered the - yellowfin&avocado it was so refreshing
- sausage&pepper meatball- yummy
- tiny cheeseburgers which are only served at the bar
- pork chip with cornbread grits & peaches
- corn creme brûlée - super sweet but could go without ordering again
- Latkes were so flavorful
- Chocolate mousse strawberry was very light
- Creme brûlée was delicious( I never usually like it but I loved this one)
- Berry sorbet was so fresh and refreshing
HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Will definitely come back.
Loved Park Avenue Summer. Our waiter was so friendly and attentive. We did the bottomless brunch option and our glasses were always full and we were taken care of completely the whole time. Server really went above and beyond to make sure we were having an amazing time. I also have food allergies and they were able to accommodate this perfectly. Can't wait to come back!
A friend is moving out of town! It’s a perfect place to have a send off!!
Came here with our families to celebrate our engagement. Food, wait staff, and ambiance couldn’t be better!
Delicious food, great service, beautiful ambiance. Expensive but worth it!
Food was very good but service was excellent. Appreciated personal attention.
Will NOT be back!!!! Service - attitude , pushing , not lessen or trust. Food - basic.
Graduation dinner was wonderful. The Restaurant Week menu is an incredible value and nothing disappointed in any way! Delicious food and beautiful ambiance.
I'm super disappointed to report that after having my bachelorette here (18 people) and my birthday dinner (15 people) here, I took a group of friends (7 people) to the restaurant for Restaurant Week and we were all totally disappointed.
Burrata was bland and mushy, and as a HUGE burrata fan - I couldn't believe I didn't absolutely love it. No one was thrilled with their entrees. The steak was overcooked and bland, my friend who got the pork really disliked the sauce. Branzino was fair. Desserts: the creme brulee wasn't "brulee'd" - it was just a soft layer on top. The quinoa-y dessert wasn't liked by anyone. The chocolate covered strawberry was tasty, but just fine.
The service was fair. At first, energetic - we were never checked on, never asked for second round of drinks, had to ask twice to get drinks, ask to get the table cleared, ask for water...
Come on, Park Ave. You guys could have done way better than this. By far the worst meal I've had here.
Last day of Restaurant Week and you can tell the wait staff were done. Super crowded Friday night dinner where our appetizers were practically thrown on the table. Really uneven food quality, e.g., corn bread (half were too brown, other half not brown at all), 2 of the same salmon entrees that did not look alike at all. Pork chop entree was still delicious. Did not feel like the usual high end experience so disappointing.
Mentioned birth event. No birthday cake. Food? I can do better than that. Hire me as the chief, I will bring the restaurant to Michelin star.
Our bar tender, Ricky, started our evening off in the best way! He was attentive (without being intrusive), helpful, and funny. Definitely made a wonderful first impression for the restaurant. Our server was also wonderful, very nice and knowledgeable about the menu and wine. It was our first time there, but definitely not our last. We cannot wait to try the other seasons.
Very attentive friendly service, pretty atmosphere, great food options for restaurant week. Highly recommend.
Great experience for a restaurant week lunch! They gave us a complimentary dessert for my sisters birthday that was amazing. Staff was very nice!
Our party was disappointed. We had the Restaurant Week menu, which had interesting options. The dishes were well prepared and tasty. But the wine was outrageously marked up. $20/glass for any wine, and the wine list had perhaps one option below $70. The service was not rude, but is was pressured, unfriendly - not gracious. It didn’t leave us wanting more of this experience.
Great food- value was awesome because it was NYC Restaurant Week. Tables for 2 are a bit too close for my liking but other than that it was DIVINE!
Perfect evening. Great waiter and delicious meal in lovely quiet room
All good. A little challenging to get waiters attention. But all else great
Food is consistently excellent. Restaurant Meal was fantastic. Would go anytime I could...
Wonderful restaurant week menu with friendly service and beautiful interior.
I strongly recommend this place to my friends.
Food was very good. Service a bit slow. Though nice.
We went for NYC Restaurant Week. They offer varieties of choices and every dish we ordered was delicious. However, the service was very rough, I must say. The waiters were throwing dishes on a table sometimes collide with what is already on the table and make noise, but they didn't seem to care. The place was packed, wooden chairs were uncomfortable and not made to stay long. It felt like eating at a diner, not in a fancy restaurant in the Park Avenue.
It was lovely!
Rude hostess. Waited at least 25 minutes for our reserved table and then seated in a back room where the noise level was literally deafening. Finally, our waiter offered us a move to the main dining room for our dessert. Wine by the glass was $20. Hardly a choice of a bottle under $70. The mark-up on the wines was about quadruple. Food was good but everything else about the place was a totally negative experience.
Birthday dinner during restaurant week. Staff was pleasant but overworked. There was not enough room for tables and staff to get by without hitting my chair every single time they went by which was constantly. I’m a small person btw. Restaurant was extremely noisy. Bathrooms needed tending too (dirty) and they were playing inappropriate to that type of restaurant rock music at high volume.
The food felt like it was made to get out fast and make ahead. The desserts especially were sub par. The first courses were the best. The wine list in uninteresting and predictable while the price per glass was bloated.
Would not go back and would not recommend. It was a disappointment compared to the rest of the day. Too bad.
Restaurant week. Good value. We all enjoyed it!
The food here was great for the most part (some of the ingredients were not ripe and shouldn’t have been served). The decor was cute and very gramercy chic. Staff was pleasant enough but seemed visibly annoyed with the people who showed up for restaurant week. We got our check without prompting for it which is something I would expect from a high volume, low class establishment and it was a major turn off. Probably won’t be back...even though I am curious about the rotating seasonal menu which is a great concept and would be a lot more successful with the right staff running the show.
We were there for Restaurant Week lunch and to celebrate friend's birthday. As always, delicious food and attentive service. We were provided with a complimentary dessert beautifully decorated. A special afternoon.
Most impressed by the bread and butter! Very soft and tasty. The crab avocado toast is also very good. The branzino is good but the accompanying vegetable is just too sour. Sorbet is too sweet. In sum, above average and definitely worth a second visit.
Wonderful service, beautiful setting. Very good food. It's restaurant week, so the fact that most of the food was so good is a testament to the quality of the restaurant.
I came to Park Ave Summer to try their restaurant week dinner. The interior decor of the restaurant will definitely blow you away! It's a gorgeous spot for a special occasion.
The portion sizes will definitely leave you satiated. They start you off with watermelon cubes with cheese on a skewer and corn bread with cinnamon butter. These were an unexpected addition to the prie fix menu. My selections were 1. the local burrata w/ grilled peaches, oven dried tomatoes 2. mediterranean branzino with fregola, artichokes, pistachio aillade 3. toasted coconut creme brulee with salsa and macadamia nuts.
-The burrata was creamy, with the peaches and tomatoes adding a nice contrast of sweetness and acidity.
-The branzino was the star of the meal, with its pan seared crisp and juicy filet.
-The waiter gifted us a mint chocolate cookie ice cream sorbet since I mentioned that it was a birthday dinner on our reservation. We were already bursting at the seams from the previous courses so we asked to take the desserts to go. I ate my creme brulee the night after, when the caramelized sugar was no longer crispy. It was delicious and had a very strong coconut flavor, but it didn't wow me.
Shoutout to our waiter, who was warm and courteous throughout the meal. He even offered to help us take a picture :)
Hi WendyY, Thank you for sharing your experience! I look forward to sharing with our team. We look forward to seeing you soon.
Absolutely delicious! Great for a special occasion.
The elder lady at reception desk is very impolite. Besides her attitude, everything else is very good. We enjoyed the food and the decorations there.
Hello, I apologize for that occurring during your visit. Thank you for your feedback. Please visit us during Autumn, as our decor and menu change seasonally! We look forward to seeing you soon.
Excellent dining experience Staff was very attentive, food was delicious
My friend and I came here for Restaurant Week dinner to celebrate my recent engagement. Our waiter knew we were celebrating something but wasn’t sure what, so took it upon himself to order us a “happy birthday” dessert with a candle! It was such a sweet gesture and only added to his already great service. Food was amazing as well. Can’t wait to return!
Always a great lunch or dinner at Park Avenue! The service is wonderful and there are many choices on the menu to please everyone.
We requested a change in our table because the first table was wobbly. The second table was equally wobbly as well. Food was great, as always. The wine dinner was a bargain and the wines served were all easy to drink and delicious. However, it's noisy and the tables were way too close to have a private conversation.
What a disappointment after ‘spring.’ Went for the prix-fixe dinner and wine for ‘summer.’ The food did not live up to the meal we had when we went for ‘spring.’ Although the price-fixe is a bargain, it isn’t one if the food is sub-par.
Amazing venue and food! Extremely fresh and u inquest experience
