Park Avenue Summer

Way too noisy. Music blasting couldn’t understand a word during what was meant to be a business dinner.
We had wonderful service and delicious food. A little tight on seating but great overall.
The server was not having a good evening. Maybe she had a hard day so we don’t want to be difficult
Had dinner with friends from international and a going away/bday dinner. We were sat by big table and they were super loud like wonky tonk bar! Smashing tables and screaming like in fish market concert! We had the meatball as entree size and rigatoni.. meatball was hard as a rock and taste was made last week.
Entree we had 2x halibut and chicken, it was ok the sauce was super salty. Fried tomatoes was ok and asparagus was burnt. Was not worth for my visit ever, and felt restaurant has gone down so badly each time and could pass as a diner with high end prices!
It was incredibly loud, even though we requested a quieter table.
Took my mom out to dinner at Park Avenue Summer before my daughter's show around the corner at Baruch College. What an absolute find! The menu is beautiful, and we were given our own gluten free menus when we were seated (such a treat!). So hard to choose from all the options, and my mom ended up asking if they would make the soft-shell crabs (which were not on the GF menu) GF. Happy that they accommodated her; she said they were delicious. Our waiter was extremely professional and solicitous. All the flavors in the scallops dish I had were delicious and fresh and interesting, and the shishito peppers were yum! The atmosphere was elegant and eclectic - you should see the door pulls in the ladies! Huge silver animal heads...so unique! Already recommended this lovely restaurant to my husband who is in the area for work everyday (would be a great business lunch or dinner); and I will happily return with friends or even sola!
The food and atmosphere was amazing. The staff really made me feel special on my birthday. Shout out to Marco who provided outstanding service and Chef Flinn for his culinary genius. My daughter gave Park Ave Summer 5 stars.
That’s wonderful! We are grateful for your kind words and we can’t wait to share this with Marco and the rest of our team. Looking forward to your next visit.
Best gnocchi I’ve ever had hands down
A delightful evening was had by all. Only menu limitation was that the deserts were predominantly chocolate in one form or another (except for the Sorbet’s and gelato). Broaden the range of deserts to have a flawless menu and service !
Double date night with my impossible to impress sister and her husband. Everything was terrific. Only flaw was the bottle of wine ordered was a different vintage from what came... the server comped some dudes and a dessert to apologize. Everything was was delicious, fresh, beautiful, interesting and memorable!!!
The restaurant and service are stellar. Absolutely beautiful. I was disappointed in the food as it was mediocre.
Had dinner with an old friend who I don’t get to see often enough We had a divine time catching up over delicious food — the asparagus was heavenly— in a lovely atmosphere that was quiet.
Excellent brunch. Every meal was great and with the bottomless mimosa/rose option, this is a great value!
The restaurant is so beautiful and the food is delicious and whimsical. Definitely recommend.
Second time there and still blown away! The food is inventive and delicious without being absurd or pretentious. I don’t think they can make a bad dish! The service is as good as the food.
Beautiful place with great ambience and very good food. Perfect service. A place that make you feel good. The wine list is very good to
If there was a word that meant beyond perfection, it would be my choice for "Park Avenue Summer".
We celebrated our Anniversary at Park Avenue, as we have several times before and hope to do many times again. It's enchantingly beautiful. The service is above and beyond wonderful. The food was and always has been exciting, delicious, beautifully prepared and simply exquisite. Their amuse-bouche was watermelon with a sparkly tang that set everything off to an amazing start. The cornmeal served with an exquisite butter was delicious. We shared a yellowfin tuna and avocado appetizer that was indescribably delicious. Our main courses were Nova Scotia Halibut, complimented with a wonderful Ratatouille and the Swordfish was done to perfection. We enjoyed some wonderful wine and champagne, a fresh and delightful sorbet, as well as some dessert that was too decadent to describe. There are so many lovely restaurants in NYC and Park Avenue is just about our favorite.
Beautiful restaurant no matter what season you choose to go. The food is equally as good and fresh. The service isn’t always great. My experience this time was a waiter who tried way to hard when he was around but the problem was he was barely around to fill my water or add a side dish. Overall, a good experience though
Great go to place for a business lunch.
Thank you so much, Ronald! We loved hearing what a great experience you had with us. Come visit us anytime.
Our server was absolutely amazing and made the experience wonderful, very knowledgeable and great
Hello Madison, that’s fantastic! We are grateful for your kind words and we can’t wait to share this with the rest of our team. Looking forward to your next visit.
Little flies buzzing around the two different tables we tried hoping to avoid them. Non stopped very annoying and uncomfortable throughout the hour and a half spent there.
Expected it to be better than it was. Appetizers were better than the main course. We had the sword fish and the pork chop. Both were less than we expected. Loud droning music in the background was very annoying. All in all a very expensive evening for a very mediocre experience
I have booked an event here but wanted to check out the food ahead of time. Did not disappoint !!
cant believe wine was unlimited loll amazing service - great ambience
The food was excellent as was the service.
I ordered Branzino and coconut creme brulee for dinner and loved it. My friends had the Halibut, steak and porkchop. It was a lovely place to meet up with a few friends or go on dates. Elegant decor. The noise level was moderate which was good. It was a nice surprise that our server gave my friend's 5-year old kid a free cup of ice cream.
Two friends catching up
- was a lovely environment and good service.
We were there for a celebration and had the perfect waiter (Christopher H) who really made it special. We all loved our food! We were originally seated next to two loud-ish groups and requested a seat change which they happily accommodated. We all raved about the food/service/ambiance!
Great meal. Great service. Beautiful restaurant.
Intriguing combinations and outstanding presentation.
We had a wonderful time. Marco was an amazing and attentive waiter. We will be coming back for every season!
Very spacious space, considering Mid-Town Manhattan. Service was very good, from greeting hostess to discreet table service. A special mention for the excellent timing between courses.
The seasons changing decor works, very pleasant. The Menu was outstanding, from the deliscious appetizers, the tuna avocado or lobster "mac and cheese", the table amuse bouche with water melon, to the Main Courses: the spicy lamb entree, the excellent pork chop, and the beautiful and tasty desserts, strawberry with chocolate mousse, sorbets and chocolate dessert all made it a memorable evening. Celebrating Birthday on a work day was wonderful. Wine list is expensive, as a European accustomed to good wines that dont's break the bank and as a New York tax payer, I don't understand why we pay the business overhead expenses on drinks alone. This is a No-No.
The food was prepared very well and the restaurant is beautiful. However the service was subpar. For as much money as dining here costs, I was hoping to be treated a little better. We decided to do the Wine Dinner menu and when we told our waiter that when we sat down, he took the regular menus from us and didn't come back for 10 minutes. We had to flag down another waiter to give us the menus. When our server came back, he proceeded to argue with us that he had already given us the menus....well we were sitting without menus and we hadn't ordered yet so I'm not sure how he figured that one. There was one dish that had a side item I didn't like so I asked if there was something that could be substituted and he got really frantic and told me no. Again, for the money we were paying, I would have liked him to gone back to the kitchen and see what they could do. Food was good but after a $200 meal, I felt like I get treated better at a fast food place.
Park Avenue Summer/winter, etc... is always a wonderful dining experience. One of my favorites.
Anthony was an incredible server, such a nice guy and made our experience great!
This is one of the best brunch experiences ever. We came here for Park Avenue Winter but we seem to have missed the Spring, but we’re looking forward to Autumn, too!
Every dish is beautifully plated and is so delicious. The combinations of flavors and textures are outstanding. Highly recommend!!!
We went for the $32/p Prix Fixe Brunch on a Sunday. The brunch contains a large pastry to share, an appetizer and a main. We also opted to go for the unlimited Bellinis for $15/p for 2 hours. We very much enjoyed the Belgian Waffle and Sausage for the appetizer (an unusual combination) and the Brunch Cheeseburger. The brunch and prosecco combination was great, we enjoyed our time at Park Avenue Summer. The service was almost fine, the dishes came very fast one after the other and they were always asking if we were done when we were still eating. The venue is nicely decorated in some parts, but it's not over the top.
Great food, fantastic service and fun amviance i highly recommended
