Park Avenue Summer
Book your next event with us
The food was prepared very well and the restaurant is beautiful. However the service was subpar. For as much money as dining here costs, I was hoping to be treated a little better. We decided to do the Wine Dinner menu and when we told our waiter that when we sat down, he took the regular menus from us and didn't come back for 10 minutes. We had to flag down another waiter to give us the menus. When our server came back, he proceeded to argue with us that he had already given us the menus....well we were sitting without menus and we hadn't ordered yet so I'm not sure how he figured that one. There was one dish that had a side item I didn't like so I asked if there was something that could be substituted and he got really frantic and told me no. Again, for the money we were paying, I would have liked him to gone back to the kitchen and see what they could do. Food was good but after a $200 meal, I felt like I get treated better at a fast food place.
Park Avenue Summer/winter, etc... is always a wonderful dining experience. One of my favorites.
This is one of the best brunch experiences ever. We came here for Park Avenue Winter but we seem to have missed the Spring, but we’re looking forward to Autumn, too!
Every dish is beautifully plated and is so delicious. The combinations of flavors and textures are outstanding. Highly recommend!!!
we always have our birthday lunch with you on June 14, we started uptown and followed you downtown, and it's always fabulous. Our waiter was great, aware but not intrusive and of course the food was great.
we will be back!
We went to Park Ave Summer last night for a milestone birthday for my friend and we had the most wonderful time. We were greeted with a Prosecco toast, had the most amazing meal, and it was capped off with a delicious dessert. I would definitely go back!
I’ve eaten there twice now and both times have been disappointed. Very expensive food that isn’t cooked the way it should be. Over cooked pork chop, overlooking burger, steak lacking flavor. The tuna tartare was tasty though.
The service has always been good and everyone is friendly.
With entrees in the $40 range they should be able to offer a better product, unfortunately this place is low on a very long list of restaurants in the city.
I absolutely LOVE this place! Food is amazing and service is so attentive and gracious! I made a reservation for a party of 12 (!!) and we were able to stay as long as we wanted (over 3hrs) enjoying the best Sunday brunch and bottomless prosecco. If you still don’t know this place you better hurry up! It won’t let you down!
It was terffice! We had a great time and enjoyed the meal. Thank you.
Fantastic! Wine dinner is our favorite !
We’re there for the price fixe wine dinner. Great experience, quality and value. Would highly recommend.
Very bad service.
The food was delicious and the decor is amazing! I think I like summer the best. We started with the burrata and grilled peaches. Yum! I had the chopped salad with spicy sopressata chips which I recommend and my daughter had the corn gnocchi appetizer as her entree. We shared the peach and blueberry crostata for 2 which could have fed 4. Everything was fantastic. Our waiter was great! For lunch the price was a little high but for a special occasion it was well worth it. I recommend highly recommend Park Avenue Summer.
Park Avenue Summer provided a wonderful experience -- great food, service, and atmosphere. It's certainly not inexpensive, but it's worth the price of admission! I look forward to trying Park Avenue in other seasons, too.
Graduation for ICC
We had a great Sunday brunch. The price was right and the bottomless Mimosas were great.
Beautiful space and delicious
Delicious food. Wish I would have requested to sit in the main room with cool fixtures hanging down from ceiling rather than the back room near a side bar. Overall great experience
Excellent dinner with superb service and attention. The food was amazing and the staff could not be friendlier. We would definitely recommend this restaurant.
The manager Kiara was super friendly and amazing. She helped my wife who’s pregnant get more comfortable when she wasn’t feeling well. Overall I couldn’t be happier
Doesn't matter the season, we love this place. The Summer menu is particularly excellent!
The only complaint is that it was too warm.
Had my birthday brunch last Sat. Fantastic food, drinks and service. Great overall- highly recommended.
Food was outstanding, service great...and for all the high quality food we ate, the price was rather reasonable.
Can’t never go wrong with this place. Comfortable sitting, spacious, vibrant, excellent food, able to converse and great service. I highly recommend it.
Love this restaurant.
Only time I havent been there us for Winter
so good, my boyfriend and I feeling goof and saved good moment in our heart, We will plan to eat again in the summer
Our boss from the U.K. office took us here to a departmental dinner. The food and appetizers were excellent. We purposely got a reservation for earlier, 5:45 p.m. to avoid the crowd later in the evening, and we still felt rushed. They were hovering asking if we were done with our plates when we were clearly not done. Our server didn't even offer us coffee when the table across from us did get offered. Not a good feeling to be rushed especially for the prices of the food.
NYU graduation lunch
Food was very disappointing and below average. Terrible vibe, noisy and super slow service.
You MUST eat here! First, the bread was delicious. Then Every dish was full of flavor and with great presentation. Some of the dishes had an unexpected combination of ingredients making every bite something to discover. Prices are high for the super small portions, so go ahead and order plenty to not leave hungry!
Excellent deal in wine dinner after 8:30. We went in a group and had a fine time. Appetizers and entrees were very good, wine selections strong and service outstanding. But, this restaurant continues to have the worst desserts of any restaurant in town. I was last here 10 years ago when it was still on the UES and at that time I had a horrendous dessert that still conjures up bad memories. It hasn't changed - a carrot cake that wasn't remotely appetizing, a pavlova that was tremendously bad. This needs to be fixed.
Food was very good. Service was very lacking and we were rushed out. Appetizers came out minutes after placing our order, and entrees came immediately after our appetizers were cleared. At this price point, its unacceptable to rush patrons out. There are many competing restaurants nearby that will provide a far better experience at this price point / atmosphere.
I have been here several times and the food and service is always excellent.
Went here for Spring Brunch prefix with unlimited prosecco/rose refills on a Saturday 1PM. The food, ambiance, and service were great. There were enough people, but not busily packed. I appreciated our waitress who was phenomenal with the prosecco refills (1.5 hours).
Booked through OpenTable and checked off Birthday, they helped us celebrate with a complementary small carrot cheesecake/candle.
Excellent everything! Will recommend to friends and return myself right away!
Our children live in the area so we go whenever we can! I had my eldest daughters bridal shower
there, and, when my other daughter got engaged they came to our rescue on a cold, rainy,
December day and set up an area for the proposal which was so beautiful and everyone
there was so helpful! We love Park Avenue, Spring, summer, fall and winter!
I've been to several of the Quality Branded restaurants (have had private parties at one of their restaurants) and have been to Park Avenue [Spring] before (and have gone when it used to be Hurricane Club), but this experience was disappointing. I made a reservation for my anniversary and requested a quieter table (both of which were noted in the reservation), but was seated in the loud central area of the restaurant. It was quite difficult to have a conversation with my partner and since we were seated in a busy area, my partner's seat kept getting bumped into by other guests and staff members. The food could've been better as a few dishes we wanted to order weren't available. Our server was great, but at no point did the restaurant or staff acknowledge our anniversary or wish us well.
When I made the reservation for this place to celebrate my birthday with my friends, I really had high hopes. But the reality is, the service ruined it all.
I saw some photos of this place with complimentary plates and candles for people on their birthday, so I noted on my reservation that it's my birthday event. However, the restaurant did nothing. That's... probably not something I should criticize about, but just a real bummer. The rest of the service is literally like a circus. After the main course, I still have half of my plate left when my friends finished (it's a really large lamb shank), so when the waiter took down our plates, I told him to pack my dish for me. He said okay. The weird part is, he brought me the packed dish back immediately, before our deserts came. Shouldn't you wait until we ask for the check? Why would I need it so soon?! After the deserts, my friends had a surprise birthday cake for me. It was a beautiful cake which I didn't set my eyes on for more than one minute. Because the waitress blow out my candle, bring it back to the kitchen and cut it directly without asking us. I didn't even had a chance to take a picture of it. AND, blowing out my BIRTHDAY candle?! SERIOUSLY?! What's also unacceptable is that, she didn't even bring us clean forks/spoons for the cake. When she took down the deserts, I put my dirty spoon on the plate and gave it to her. She, instead, return that dirty spoon to me while taking my plate.
Overall, I don't recommend this place. The waiter/waitress we had was just so inconsiderate. The service is just not worth the price, and let's face it, the food is not that good. The bread was really nice though, that was probably the best thing there for us.
