Starting with the host desk and continuing to the table, there was a lack of graciousness and attentiveness in our interactions with the staff. We will probably not return because of this, despite enjoying the food.
Great for brunch. Service was wonderful and food was fantastic!!
Really enjoy this restaurant and how they change the theme in accordance with the seasons and change up their menu in accordance to what ingredients are seasonal. I've been to Park Autumn, Winter and most recently Spring (for my wedding anniversary!) and the food has been consistently amazing. The staff is always courteous, know the menu well and give good suggestions for meal selections. The decorations on the inside are beautiful, you'd think you are in a spring garden! They make a really good amaretto sour (not too sweet like other places make them) and the desserts are delicious, we had the carrot cake which I was worried would taste too carrot like (I normally don't like it), but it was moist and the whipped topping contemplated the carrot cake, very much recommend!!!
Second time coming here, was here once for the Park Winter experience.Came to try the $65 unlimited wine dinner option which they didn’t mention when we sat down. I only knew about it through the website. Seems like a good deal except we didn’t get the first glass of wine until the appetizers came out , not to mention they forgot the bread, so the appetizers just came out without a glass of wine first. Fyi they take their time with the refills or new wine pairings. Food was good but nothing that really worth returning for, still. Very pretty inside !
Visit to NYC and this Resturant was highly recommended.
After a stressful meeting, i had taken 2 of my customers who are from Paris to lunch. They loved it ! the decor, the meal, the service was outstanding !
Great lunch spot. Excellent salad choices and entrees if you want a heavier lunch
Service was somewhat off this visit but very pleasant
This was my eighth time here and it does not disappoint! We did the $65 3-course + unlimited wine dinner and are so glad we did. The service, ambiance, and food quality cannot be beat. Look no further for your next special occasion!
Great service and food. Highly recommended.
Tim was a great server! Loved the food. Great experience!!!
This restaurant never disappoints. We had a wonderful dinner and even though there are not as many vegetarian options the is a vegan menu which fulfills and delights. This was a special occasion but I have eaten here when it was not and was very happy with the service, menu and food.
Awesome dining experience. Loved the decor of spring. Waiter was professional and gave us complimentary champagne for our anniversary. Would come back to dine again.
Was not impressed with the service.
Wine dinner - good wines, excellent Colorado lamb and scallops
Treated like royalty. Our lady server was teriffic. Beet salad and garden salad excellent. Salmon and chopped salad entrees winners. Carrot cake and tart a must. Then we were treated to a hlass each of perseco and a special birthday chocolate dessert for my guys birthday. Totally unexpected and very much appreciated. You know hospitality. Even the host who sat us was busy watching that everything going on and keeping things smoothly moving. Thank you. We will be back... One comment re the decorative hanging moss, lose it. It looks so dirty and unappealing hanging on those light fixtures. You could do so much better in you lovely space..
My adult children and I had Easter dinner at Park Avenue Spring. My mistake in making the reservation was not realizing that ONLY a Prixe Fix ($80) menu was available as I don’t like to be limited in my choices. That said, the offerings were unimaginative and mediocre to a point that we were hard pressed to make choices. The salmon main was over cooked, the scallop main was said to have “ 4 -5 scallops” when in fact there were 3. The veal shank was the only winner, tasty though quite fatty. The ricotta creme brûlée dessert was awful, very dry with a thick cottage cheese consistency.
VERY disappointed with the dining experience but as usual, the decor is lovely...the only saving grace.
Food is amazing and even the drinks will make your tastebuds happy. You’ll want to send your compliments to the Chef!
Park Avenue has been one of my favorite places for years. What a disappointing experience. The prices were jacked for Easter with no elevation in the offering at all. We were a table of 3 adults who got seated in the noisy back room/annex filled with 2 large groups and ill mannered children. There was no reason to not put us in the main dining room as we were on the tail end of brunch with a 2:30 res. Our waiter was inattentive. We’ve taken this off ‘the list’
Easter Sunday brunch.
Over priced. Service and food was mediocre.
Fabulous Easter brunch. It is a beautiful place to find with a beautiful menu, filled with unique plates and drinks. Treat yourself and GO.
This venue has become a “must “ for us every time we are in town. We love the variation with the different seasons. The menu was creative and interesting. The lamb was possibly the best we’ve ever had. The crab and avocado offering was delicious.
Keep up the good work, we will definitely be back.
Simply one of my absolute fave restaurants in NYC. The farm-to-table ingredients, the simple but elegant preparations and designs, complimented by a beautiful decor and friendly-but-elegant service makes this the go-to spot for my wife and I every time!
Generous portion, lamb shank and date enjoyed her duck.Atmosphere was good, nice location and will repeat.
What a pleasant experience! Went to Park Avenue (Spring) on a date with my girlfriend. We ordered the charred octopus and chorizo appetizer and it was AMAZING! Served with “Spanish almonds” and fava beans and a cilantro aioli it was superb. I ordered a glass of wine, which at $20 I was skeptical but it was a heavy pour and delicious! For dinner, my girlfriend had the Viking Scallops and they were absolutely fantastic! Flavorful and tender, very delightful. I ordered the Black Sea Bass which came with rice and peas in a Thai-coconut type sauce. The fish was crispy on the outside and melt-in-your-mouth buttery delicious inside. Overall, we did not wait long for any part of our meal and, although pricey (you are in the heart of Manhattan), you 100% get your money’s worth. I will go back to try each of their seasonal menus.
The smell of Spring. Or should I say - the chemical air freshener, toilet/bathroom smell of spring. We could not wait to leave; the fumes from the chemical room deodorizers left us with headaches and gasping for fresh air.
Ambiance is nice here.
The decor, ambiance, and food presentation is amazing.
However, the food is very lacking and poor. It is salty. There is nothing special or good about the food here. It was a huge disappointment. It was my second time here and both times the food was way too salty to the point I couldn't finish my meal. I had the filet mignon, short ribs, lamb, and duck. Even the entrees weren't good.
A beautiful place, decorated by the season. The food can be excellent but is not always. It is somewhat overpriced.
Birthday. It was special.
Fantastic service and staff. Food was delicious!
Good decoration. The vegetables were in season so they tasted at their prime. For prix fix there was a lot of food. We ended up taking some home. With the drink included the overall bill was reasonable for the quality of the food. Slow service, but pleasant. It was brunch so it was quite busy, but they weren't try to rush you. Good for dates and small groups on the top floor. Great for brunch as well. Will try the wine-dinner next time.
So it was my grandmas bday and I wanted to take her to a nice place, this was the best decision I loved everything starting from coat check to dessert everything was perfect even one of the waiters spoke Spanish and my mom doesn’t know English very well and he took the time to explain the whole menu to her and my grandma, the food was delicious all of us were pretty happy with everything even our cocktails, so I recommend this place to anyone
Birthday brunch! Service was great - waiter was gracious and gave a glass of prosecco for the delay with kitchen. The prefix was a great deal. Cocktails were delicious and so were he rolls. All the food was delicious however I’d recommend skipping the burger unless your an avid burger consumer.
Lovely birthday brunch. The $32 prix fix brunch is really 2 courses served with monkey bread. It would be nice to have included a beverage such as coffee or tea since a mimosa or brunch cocktail was not included. The food is beautifully prepared and presented. The atmosphere is lovely. It was my birthday so a lovely delicious gratis dessert was presented to me.
Lavender and wisteria. Brunch is incredible. Everything crusted branzino. Too many choices. Old fashion with a twist. Love this place.
Food was incredible and it’s beautiful inside! Great wait staff as well, very attentive, polite and knowledgeable about the menu. Definitely going back!
The food was excellent but don’t plan on leaving stuffed. The portions are small but the food is all cooked perfectly. Although we were seated late, they gave us free drinks to make up for it. The service in general was amazing. Would go back.
Over rated and over priced. Good service but would definitely skip😕
Wonderful meal - the service was impeccable we were not rushed and had the whole evening to catch up with friends while enjoying great food and drinks!
