Brunch on Saturday.
Service, venue very good!
Food was good, not great.
Would return for regular menus, not brunch.
Went on a date with my boyfriend for RW, and we were both blown away with the quality of food and service. Will be back soon.
The food is terrible. Beef is too much well done and fish is too greasy. I had a dinner there during restaurant week. Decoration is good but not worth to try.
The restaurant week menu was excellent, enough options and very tasty. The waiter was super friendly, we requested him to slowdown the arrival of the plates as we wanted to enjoy the wine and not have an expedited 1 hour diner experience which he organized in consequence. When we entered the restaurant it seemed very noisy but once we were seated it was actually really ok we could have a normal conversation without raising our voices. All in all we had great birthday diner.
Their menu never disappoints! It was noisier and more cramped than in our past visits, but it was a Friday night during restaurant week. The only thing they could have done to really wow me would have been to offer better menu accommodations for my dairy allergy.
This is my second Restaurant Week visit to Park Avenue Winter. We visited in the summer. The food, service qnd ambience were all excellent. I had the burrata as an appetizer and salmon as the entre. One friend had the tuna tartar with avocado
Food was good, our server Marco made the experience great!
Hostess was rude, they had a rule about not seating you until your entire party had arrived yet there were many empty tables.
The table we finally sat down at had super wobbly legs.
Ordered beef tartar as the app from restaurant week menu and the toast came out burnt.
Overall, it’s overpriced for a basic new American restaurant it seems.
Server was fantastic.
Knew everything about the menu and recommended wines to go with our meal.
Restaurant week meal was a great value.
Noisy but the place was totally packed.
Appreciated the larger than usual space between tables.
Menu selections excellent.
Only negative was food deliverer put sauce on my wife’s fish without asking first. She likes it plain so it ruined the dish
The choices were varied with a lot of interesting ingredients . Salmon and branzino were great. Butternut squash soup was delicious and what a nice touch with the gingerbread
Birthday dinner during restaurant week. Could not ha e been better!
We always enjoy this restaurant. The food is interesting and the service is caring. The noise level permits conversation. Can't wait to go back.
Great food, great service and great atmosphere.
Restaurant Week lunch.
Service professional, very good.
Would return, very organized operation.
Wonderful food..pumpkin ravioli was superb. And nice surprise birthday dessert!
Come here fairly often. This was a restaurant week visit and, by chance, we were disappointed in the desserts - not the quality, just found the choices disappointing. However, this time, the typically excellent service was below par. We had a very long wait for our cocktails and had to ask for bread several times before it was brought to the table. Note: they bring a single "bread item" per person -not a bread basket., but this has been the style since they converted for Park Avenue Café to Park Avenue (Season). There was also a failure to check and refill our water glasses. Hopefully, this service problem was an isolated episode. The dessert issue is really just a matter of personal taste. As for noise, I rated it based on the overall level although I had requested and was in a relatively quiet area.
Always good food and always reliable.
We ordered a steak and pork loin for the entree. Both dishes were not that good, and the pork loin was hard to cut. Except those, our experience was fantastic, we love the appetizers we had, a steak tartare and tuna with avocado dish.
Amazing service. And delicious food. Beautifully presented
Everything was good only way is the waffle fires is too salty
The service was impeccable in this stunning seasonal restaurant. Brunch was a perfect combination of winter decor, food and drinks. Can’t wait for “Spring”.
been several times...it's one block from my office and has great ambience....the food just doesn't hold up....especially for the price....will begin to look elsewhere for business lunches
If the food were as wonderful as the service, my husband and I would go there often. It isn't. The gnocchi appetizer was gummy and broke down into its respective parts with no harmony. The skate, a favorite of mine, was steamed to the point of mush, topped with overcooked shrimp and grapefruit segments that still had their pith. All of it was just thrown on the plate. The service, on the other hand, is exemplary. I had noted in my reservation that my hearing is impaired so a table in the corner of the bar was set to avoid the noisy dining room. What often happens in such a case is the waiter forgets about you. Not here. We were well looked after. The maitre d, Ben, came by often and was personable and professional. Were the food so.
Absolutely love this place. Everything is lovely and delicious, and great for out of town NYC visitors as well as date night, groups, and local friends dinner.
Be sure to check out every season, it’s such a unique concept and again, perfect!!
It's a fun spot to check out if you're willing to spend a bit more. Appetizers and mains were wonderful but some of the sides (ie. broccoli and cheetos) were underwhelming and more of a novelty idea vs. a proper accompaniment to the beautifully done branzino and other proteins.
Love the concept, though!
Our waitress was lovely but some of the bussers were eager to seemingly clear our tables when we were in the midst of conversation while still picking at our food. Otherwise, lovely evening.
A beautiful venue wonderful food.
Great food. Outstanding service. Thank you!
Granted it was a Monday night but it was pretty dead. The appetizers were ok and the entree was under-seasoned, underwhelming. I was disappointed. The only highlight was the Broccoli Cheetos dish and the bar.
Same as the last time I was there. Good food and excellent waiter.
Hi Geoffrey, thank you for your kind words! We are glad you had an excellent time and we hope to see you again soon.
My 4th visit and never disappointed. Would continue to dine there
Especially great for brunch
Hi Donnac, it is wonderful to hear that you enjoy your visits! We appreciate your loyalty and we will see you soon!
For the cost, the food was not up to par. Downhill.
A lovely, delicious meal with friendly top notch service. Portions are small. Everyone loved their meal though I found mine too saucy.
Great experience. Staff are attentive and courteous. Food is good. Ambiance cozy and decors lovely.
Delicious as always! Winters my favorite season. Definitely get the pumpkin ravioli, crabcake, truffle butter toast, lobster risotto and apple&almond tart. The deck the halls & master cleanse cocktails were also amazing!! Love this restaurant never disappoint!
While we entered we were asked to wait for a few, while the guests who arrived right after us were taken to be seated before us. Ignorance!!
Essen super ! Ambiente herausragend ! Service schlecht !
Schade !
Was pretty and beautiful
Wonderful holiday dinner with friends. Delicious food in beautiful setting. We weren’t rushed. Want to go back every season.
