Come celebrate the holiday season at Park Avenue Winter!

Service was extremely slow from everything to seating us, to getting us our drinks,to our food coming out. Beautiful restaurant but I expected much more after reading the menu and prices and seeing the beautiful decor. You would probably have the best service just sitting at the bar to eat, as the bartenders were great.
Service was really bad for how much you are paying to dine there.
I went for autumn and it was amazing all of the course were beautifully done. We came back for winter and it was too rich for a brunch menu everything was so heavy and creamy and nothing very healthy as options. The place is till beautiful but they need a few healthier items on the winter menu to choose from.
Beautiful place, exquisite food and superb service.
The family had a nice time for my moms 50th! They even gave her a nice card!
Excellent food and service!
The food was excellent and I will definitely be returning.
Thought the ambiance could have been a bit more festive for the holiday season, especially because they change the name with the seasons.
Know its a high rent district, but the food was good not great and to me the price point dictates something more.
Service was friendly, accommodating and efficient.
Went there last year same time of year and overall just remember a better experience.
Can't quite put my finger on it.
Everything was wonderful and our server Walter was beyond amazing. We will be back.
Mediocre food - for the price; poor service
Room was extremely loud and very uncomfortable. We couldn’t even have a conversation with our friends. Need sound damping material.
With Family and friends in from out of town- this is a perfect place to go!
Had a early holiday dinner; the restaurant changed over to Winter and there were some new items on the dinner, desert and cocktail menus. The waitress and sommelier were very attentive and helpful with making recommendations. The decor was perfect with a wintery setting. The food was very good. I had the porkchop which was nicely cooked and juicy. My wife had the short rib, which while flavorful she felt was a little dry. We had a desert called Broken Ornament, which really did look like an gold ornament that had broken in half. Despite being very busy, the overall experience was great.
The food was amazing! However, the hostess was very rude. Once we got seated she had another hostess tell us we had to be out at 8pm... When the server offered us dessert at 7:45 we basically had to say no because the rude hostess...
The seasonal changes are a very interesting take on a value. Food was good. We will go back.
Interesting concept. We reserved in advance for Autumn but arrived for Winter. The decor and atmosphere is certainly seasonal and a creative nod to theatrical staging near the theatre district. Innovative cuisine and a nice vegan friendly menu too. Definitely worth trying.
We had our work holiday lunch here last week - Overall, everything I ordered was good enough, but definitely not deserving of the high prices. My roasted butternut squash soup was very good, but to me not worth $16 for maybe a cup's worth serving in a funky shallow bowl?!? ) as was the focaccia bread on the table. My petite filet lemon caesar salad, at $29, consisted of maybe a cup of cabbage/romaine with maybe 4oz of filet mignon - totally not worth the price point. I probably would have fared better to order one of the entrees. As for drinks you are better off ordering wine or sangria - My winter cocktail, the Fortune Teller, was tasty, but there was so much crushed ice in the glass that after just a few sips through straw that came in it, I could barely sip the rest - def not worth the $17 price tag. Best part of the meal IMHO was my dessert - the Cinnamon S'more Sundae was to die for! Ambience very nice, I like the simple, cool, winter'y decor.
This is probably a good place to go if you like truffles, I just felt like I was hammered with them, and I really don't care for them.
I ate here several times during Summer in the dining room and at the bar, loved the food. Not a fan of the winter menu.
I ordered the Coq a Vin which was really unspectacular. I believe this was compounded because the server had two full things of sauce in his hand. He decided to split one between my colleague and myself and took the other back to the kitchen completely full. I felt ripped off at that very moment and the dish had very little flavor. If you are going to serve Coq au vin without sauce, then don't serve it. Also, that is a pretty standard dish for the French, the preparation was not even close to what a classic Coq Au Vin would be.
I do want to emphasize that both the service and cocktails were excellent.
Hostess was curt and rude at check in when I indicated our reservation was for 7:30pm but we would be seated earlier if possible. I also noted she was having issues with a server when checking in and then saw her storming around and complaining when leaving after dinner. Not the best first or last impression of the experience. Thankfully the food was delicious.
Absolutely Atrocious. You’d think a restaurant with the foresight to close in the middle of the day to prepare for dinner would wait until they are closed to patrons for tearing down AUTUMN and installing WINTER. Not only was it evident that the people/ recent college grads running the restaurant were entirely novice in a restaurant settling (breaking glasses, loud chatter), people were on ladders and ripping upholstery from the chairs beside me and my friend while we were eating. Upon re-examining the gaudy decor which always seemed so inviting walking by the restaurant from outside seemed exhausted and not very creative - gimmicky. The waiter was not a professional waiter. He seemed to not understand the flow of customer interaction and provided slow service. And the food! The highest disappointment, and sole reason I muster energy to compile this review. Cinnamon roll placed on the table as a starter prior to taking our order is a stupid thing to do. That’s obviously dessert. Then, between extremely long wait times, I had the salmon and beet salad, which only tasted flatly of vinegar and questionable sashimi - no nuance to the dish. Finally, main course - branzino with everything bagel crust. I’m a fan of sodium so I didn’t despise it, but the crust was extremely heavy and didn’t make for a balanced dish. All in all, I feel like I saw a restaurant at its very worst today. I’m sure it has seen some better days.
Park Avenue, no matter what the season, has never disappointed
Post Thanksgiving family dinner for wine pairing dinner. Service withMarco our waiter made our experience even more enjoyable! He was attentive and accommodating. One improvement would be more attention to wine refills
Our food was delicious. Duck was spectacular ! Burrata prep with figs and jam was delicious and different. We all enjoyed our food and desert was yummy! Would definitely return!
Overall very good and I would highly recommend. Brunch had a number of tasty items but there was nary a vegetable to be had on the brunch menu. They could do with a green item or two to round out the options.
Our reservation was for 7:15 pm. We arrived at about 7:10 pm and were told that the restaurant was running 10 minutes late. However, we were seated at 8 pm. Food took a long time and was cold.
Thanksgiving, so the kitchen was clearly overwhelmed, but we waited 25 minutes between each of the three courses. That was ridiculous. And the food was served warm.
Totally enjoyed Thanksgiving at Park Avenue Autumn! Great menu choices and wonderful service. Wine selections were excellent. The venue was busy, but not overwhelming. Be sure to make a reservation or the wait can be long. With a reservation, we were seated immediately.
Our family went for Thanksgiving and the atmosphere was festive. The bar area was fun while we waited. The food was average at best, but it could've been the quantity of servings for the holiday meal..
food delicious and unusual. presentation mouthwatering. staff outstanding! marvelous experience!! will definitely include this restaurant as one of our regulars.
Do not go on a holiday. Food quality was a zero. Felt like eating at a olive garden for 5x the cost. Clearly they have some issues on high volume customer days.
Went on Thanksgiving day, so perhaps everything is different from experiences in any other time. Made a reservation for a larger group, and overall we didn’t feel enough hospitality.
I made a reservation for 8, and two of them brought plus one last minute. We didn’t expect anything, and prepared for them just to sit by the bar and not to join the table, but thought it doesn’t hurt to ask. Oh no, mistakes. I asked nicely, if it is possible to sit two extra people by the table, or nearby, the lady at front said to me in an absolutely no smile face: “No. No. ma’am it’s thanksgiving day. We don’t accommodate people you didn’t reserve for.” O—Kay... I think it might have been the first time I heard an ice cold “no” rather than other places would say something like, “we are sorry but we can’t. “.
Later on we sorted out which two will be sitting by the bar. Some of us ordered drinks while waiting, and I asked bartender what is the procedure to move their order to our table. The guy said: “No. I can’t. You have to get a manager.” And without additional instructions. I asked where can I get a manager and he pointed out to me. Fair enough. I went to the front and asked for a manager to transfer the order, and the waiter in the front immediately said:” they are 8 but they want to be 10.” Excuse me? Did you hear what I say? Are we in kindergarten? I literally tried so hard not to roll my eyes. We completely understand it is 8 only, and we sorted it out. He’s so eager like he’s gonna get a big applause or something.
The only nice and friendly staff is our server for the table. Took care of us nicely. And when we went home and check out the bill has three items not ordered by us. Probably transferred someone else’s bar tab to us as well. Thanksgiving to them absolutely...
In summary, not going back. Maybe they are nicer in non-holiday occasion, but oh wow, never had such an experience and this is about the first time I wrote a long review like this.
Beautiful venue. A few hiccups with meal service but rectfied nicely. Bellini set up was cleaver and nice.
Tara, our server, was absolutely incredible and down to earth. Service makes the difference in this kind of meal and she did just that. Great vegan options as well.
Wonderful, as usual!
This was my first visit to this restaurant. A colleague of mine who I refer to as my "foodie twin" recommended the restaurant a couple of months ago and it came to mind when I was looking for a location for a celebratory meal with a friend. The space is beautiful and very elegant, however what stood out most was the food. Everything we ate from our appetizers, to the entrees, to dessert (which we almost never order but did so after seeing some amazing desserts delivered to the tables surrounding us)...everything tasted wonderful and the dishes were all well put together. Standouts included the Lobster Mac & Cheese and the S'mores Sundae. We also had a pomegranate sorbet delivered as a celebratory dessert which was a wonderful palette cleanser and very flavorful. The service was attentive and appropriate, and our server had a great personality. My friend and I were both quite impressed and intend to return seasonally to try the various seasonal menus. There is also a wine dinner for reservations after 8:30pm which I may return to try as well as this was also recommended.
This was our first visit and were not disappointed. Fun menu with matching restaurant decor. Wine list was nice, with a particular good variety. Next time I'm in NYC, I plan to go again. Thanks!
Beyond delightful experience. Highly recommend.
We had the prix fix with wine menu. Great price for choose any entree, appetizer and assorted dessert choices. Included wine was very good. Meal was delicious and ambiance terrific. Looking forward to see what winter design looks like. Will be back.
Vibe, drinks, food, service, were second to none. Park Avenue Autumn ranks at the top of our list.
Wonderful service from Andrea, our server; above and beyond with great recommendations and friendliness. The quality and preparation of the food is superb, and the value for the post 8:30pm deal is amazing! Among the best dining choices in the city.
The food was exceptional, the service was great. Over-all very enjoyable
