Park and Field
Brunch on sunday
This was second time coming for Sunday brunch and it was a blast! We had Mayra as our server again and she was great, very attentive, and super chill. Me and my girlfriends sat around the fire afterwards and enjoyed s'mores and drinks before we went home. Definitely will be coming back again!
Great local place. Amazing decor, great food options, deep and interesting beer list and solid service. Will definitely be coming back soon
The food taste like something from a dinner you only go to when you’re extremely intoxicated. You don’t know how bad it taste until you’re sober.
The brunch buffet was not good. There was a very limited selection and it was mostly breakfast foods. The place is very crammed together. The outside is very cute, but I would not return here for brunch again. There are LOTS of places in the city to get brunch for the same price and have great food!
Love the ambiance. Will definitely be returning soon.
Park & Field is a fun place for all ages and the food is delish.
Great place to go with kids! Halloween after Logan Square parade was great, with kids buffet and s'mores. As always, good food and drinks for the adults. Staff is always so friendly and accommodating with kids.
Great brunch buffet with lots of options, but if you eat outside be wary of all the bees.
Great service. Wonderful craft drinks.
Park and Field has been a brunch favorite for me, however my recent experience was not great. I reserved a table for 3, received a confirmation email and text with a ton of info on the brunch special and clear instructions stating our reservation was for 2 hrs, after which we were welcome to continue on the patio. When we arrived were told the only table available was on the patio, nothing inside, and that a reservation did not guarantee a table inside. Weird, considering the content of the confirmation text/email. I normally would be fine outside, but it was 48 degrees and we had not dressed for sitting in the cold. This situation could have been avoided had the email/text said there was a possibility of being seated outside. Our server was great, this is no reflection on her, she even dragged over a propane heater (which ended up being out of propane) for us. Overall an ok experience, just not impressed with communication/operations.
The whole look of this place is cute and fun. I had the chipotle chicken sandwich and my partner had gotten the Jerusalem roast chicken. The chicken for the roast chicken was very juicy, but overall the plate didn't wow us. My sandwich was the same result. However, the mac and cheese was bomb! Our waitress was very nice and the other staff as well. I might go back to chill with some friends for a drink or maybe some appetizers, I just wasn't a fan of the main courses.
Park & Field is a great place to go for groups. We've done the brunch special 4 times with a group and the service is spectacular. Great value in the unlimited brunch
I had the brunch buffer: the food was fairly poor quality, stale bread, cold dishes that were meant to be hot, very cheap ingredients and good items ran out quickly. There were not many dishes to choose from, and the dishes did not complement each other whatsoever.
This is a great scene and fun patio, however when we came here for bottomless brunch no one told us before our time was up, and kicked us out of our reserved table without any warning. We paid $50 for this brunch each and weren't given the chance to order more drinks meanwhile our server was all over the place and didn't get us as many drinks as we had wanted. Next time pick a different bottomless brunch location-- you won't get your money's worth here.
Great location, ambiance, food is good, but music is a bit too loud. Not sure I'd recommend visiting with young children.
Great food, friendly staff , really cute interior and patio. Brunch was priced well especially for the Boozy brunch.
The bottomless brunch and drinks for $40 is an AMAZING deal. Plus they have football on at the bar. What more could you want? Highly recommend.
Good food, very busy but a great deal and plentiful everything
Great for outdoor sitting and eating. Kid and dog friendly place.
The $40 breakfast buffet really doesn’t worth it. Cheap options. So does the drinks. I can order items from the menu till 2:30pm
Very dog friendly! S’mores by the fire were so cute!
I was excited to visit Park and Field for a date night unfortunately it didn’t meet our expectations. We got a babysitter to watch kiddos and told our friends to meet us there for dinner and drinks. Mind you we made a reservation online. We got seated outside even though we didn’t requested to be outside. It was starting to rain and we asked what was the plan if it started pouring. They said to run inside if that was the case and she’d close our tab. Ok? The server seemed to be annoyed once we asked to be seated somewhere away from sidewalk. There were a lot of empty tables and the best response was that they were waiting for a table of 18 guests that never showed while we were there. There were toddlers playing next to us which was puzzling since it was a Saturday night past 8pm. Overall I will not come back. Good for a photo op but that is pretty much it.
It was a fun brunch. We were a group of 7 celebrating a bachelorette weekend. Food was ok - nothing was very hot or fresh. Server was not that attentive, we started to help ourselves at the bar. Overall the atmosphere is great, be sure to request a patio table if the weather is nice
It was the Bears first game but it seemed very chaotic and unorganized. Made reservations and we were not by any tv to see the game. Asked to move since there where around 6 other empty tables and were told no. Asked to remove umbrellas that blocked the one tv that was far away and they had to ask a manager. After about 15 minutes of no response we ended up leaving. The staff we talked to were nice but maybe the game caused a lot of this so not sure
The food is average but the energy is so amazing and the service was fantastic.
Had a going away party for our friends and being able to be outside and celebrate in a great atmosphere was perfect.
Short staffed- $25 food brunch was overly priced for the quality of food and variety of choices.
It was so nice to relax and enjoy my birthday there! Wish that the music was a little louder and that we would have gotten a long table, but still great? Staff was incredibly nice!!!!
Great food drinks and service! The smores and the ice cream menu were my favorite!
The ambiance is great!
To qualify, we were there for brunch on a Sunday. They have a separate buffet menu from what is on their website between 10:30am and 2:30pm on Saturdays and Sundays. $25 is just food, $40 includes alcoholic drinks. Here are a few things to improve and get 5 stars.
1. I reserved a table for 12 well in advance. Our server seemed to have trouble keeping up with the drinks included in the weekend buffet. Perhaps give your servers fewer tables/people or add more servers.
2. Our table was some chairs around a coffee table. Perhaps I am too traditional, but it would have been nicer to be sitting around an actual table.
3. The English Muffins that you make your Eggs Benedict with for the buffet need to be toasted and you need to include more hollandaise sauce on top. They were soggy and disappointing without the yummy hollandaise sauce to compensate.
Hope this helps!
This was so disappointing!! It was only buffet until 2 pm, that’s ok with us. Everything in the buffet was cold. I repeat, everything. The problem was that it should have been hot. Imagine cold pancakes and cold eggs Benedict. Exactly what you want for breakfast. We were totally bummed out and walked out hungry after paying $80. I would not go back and I would not recommend going either.
We made a reservation to celebrate my Fiancé’s birthday and spoke with management on the phone in regards to bocce court availability. We were told it was on a first come first serve basis, but there shouldn’t be an issue. however when we alll arrived both courts were reserved for another party for the entire evening. Had they been more honest with us,we would have gone elsewhere. Instead, it put a huge damper on our birthday party and made a huge inconvenience for everyone who travel out to this location.
Great menu with interesting and varied choices. Loved the Chickpea salad!
Nice hidden gem! Service was great, food was good, drinks were ok.
I was very much looking forward to checking out this spot and disappointed all around. I don’t like complaining but I’d warn anyone that thinking going here is worth your time or money.
1. Service was super slow - we did the endless brunch with mimosas (I only had 3 warm mimosas). Surprised you wouldn’t get a caraf for the table instead of them filling your tiny cup..
2. Food quality was poor, not replenished, (especially for the price) and the area was a mess, unsanitary.
3. The tap water tasted like bleach...
4. The bathrooms were pretty gross, not to mention seeing a couple come out of one together...
I wish I was making this up.
The ambience was great. The food was average in taste and required salt. I wanted a different jam then what was offered on the buffet, but they didn’t have any other choices. Seems strange since this is a brunch place. We had to ask the server for more coffee a few times.
Park & Field was amazing for a birthday celebration! We had perfect weather, delicious drinks, great food, and our server Emily couldn't have been any better! She was perfectly attentive and able to easily split the tab as people arrived and left at different times. We had a large group with many kids who loved the bubbles from Emily and space to run around. My only (minor) complaint is that we had requested to be by the bocce but were seated on the other side. Thank you Emily and Park & Field!
Such a fun place! Nina was our waitress and she was fabulous!
