Great food. Friendly staff great service. Our Salmon dish was spectacularly

The atmosphere is very nice, the food was good, but their greatest asset here is their hostess Terri, she’s an absolute riot and seems to genuinely care about your dining experience! I might have to make the 4 hour drive again just to go visit her!

My group had a nice dinner at Park 217's semi-private dining room. The staff was friendly and anxious to please. My salmon was cooked to perfection.

What a great night we had at this restaurant , from the moment we walked in until the moment we left. The staff was all friendly, professional and accommodating to various culinary needs our table had - from kids to vegetarians to 100% meat eaters. Thank-you.

After we got seated we didn't see our server for 10 minutes. When the server arrived we ordered a appetizer and entrees with a glass of wine . 25 minutes went by and we never saw our server. We flagged down the server to ask about the glass of wine. She came back with it. The salads showed up shortly but we didn't get bread like the rest of the tables - no appetizer still. I had to ask for black pepper, that took another 10 minutes. When our dinner arrived I told the server to disregard the appetizer. I requested a steak knife and sauce and that took almost 15 minutes. I thought that we were on " Candid Camera" the worst dinning room service I've ever experienced. I still left a 20% tip (donation). Also, the bread never arrived either.

Outstanding service; high quality food and beverages; relaxing atmosphere. Can recommend Park 217 without hesitation.

Booked for my wife’s birthday.When we arrived they didn’t have the reservation as they said they rarely check the site and a lot of times the reservations don’t show up. So the special occasion was not mentioned nor dealt with by the staff even after I told them why we booked. Not sure if open table passes on the info?? Anyway they had room for us. The ambiance was good but the food when quite poor. My wife had salmon which was over cooked and tasteless. I had seafood fettuccini which had a very watery sauce which was very bland. The portion size however was quite large. Our server was friendly. Overall very disappointed with the experience.

The steak was excellent, as was the salad. The bartender was friendly. And the atmosphere was good. However, I dined two days after Valentine's day. Instead the potatoes on the menu, I ended up with the Luke warm leftover potato William(?) From Valentine's. I was also offered a mint brownie for dessert - heart shaped. I'm assuming also a left over from Valentine's. Which would have been understandable, except it was the same price as the other dessert choices. If I return to butte, I will give it another go. But, I really don't want to be served leftovers and charged the same price.

Our experience was terrible. It was 7:45 pm on Valentines Day and we made reservations. When we showed up they said they didn’t have our reservations. I showed the hostess my confirmation. She was disinterested. We were seated. There were 2 other couples seated near us. All other tables were vacant. The waiter was rude. Seriously rude. We asked him to take a photo for us and he was really put out by that request. When I commented about his reluctance he (half heartedly) apologized and said it had been a long day for him. Wow.
The food was good, and the environment was comfortable, but nothing was good enough for the very, very poor service.

First, they weren't notified about our reservation, but not an issue, they weren't busy.
Ordered drinks, which seemed to take a long time to receive. Ordered our meals..

Dinner rolls were "hockey pucks" Not fresh and hard

Steaks arrived, bleeding. Send them back. The rib eye was slapped on the grill and sent back out, looked grey, was tough, and didn't even bother with fresh side dish of potatoes, which were awful. Steak Oscar crab and sauce was cold

I waited to eat my rib eye to enjoy my meal with my sister, we waited 20 minutes, and still no steak Oscar.

We decided to leave. Told the waitress, she asked if we wanted to talked to the manager, sure...

He asked what he could do, I asked him what he could do? He didn't know.

He said he could comp the meal. I said, you aren't comping the meal, because we aren't paying for this. We got up and left.

When you charge that kind of money for a meal, the rolls should be fresh, and meals should be prepared as you request and served at the SAME time so people can enjoy their meals together.

Epic FAILURE!!!

We utilized the Open Table App to reserve a table a full day and a half before our reservation, nearly 36 hours prior to the reservation. When we arrived at Park 217 the staff stated they just saw our reservation and that they did not have a table for us, that if we wanted, we could squeeze into a booth (there were five of us and the booths are not very big). As this was our daughters birthday, we did not want to change venues so decided to cram into a booth. The food was very good as usual, however, the whole missing of our reservation put a significant damper on our experience.

They serve some of the best food in Butte have a sensibly priced wine list with a reasonably varied selection and friendly service at both bar and table

Park 217 is a secret worth sharing. Family members met here on a Saturday evening for a feast of genuine Montana steak. It was well worth the trip!!
We feasted on three separate appetizers, soup, salad, and after consuming the PERFECT steak, (unfortunately) didn't leave room for dessert.
The coffee out of the French press was delicious!
