Our reservation was for 2pm; when we got there there was barely any buffett items left and they broke down the bloody mary station (which I was going to order). I had to refil my own water and ask for birthday cake. Waiter seemed to have forgotten about us and there were no busboys present.

Better service than last few times. Greater still leaves the impression that we're a bother. Server, though, was exceptional.

Not so good as was in the past! Waiter kept disappearing for long periods of time, and my Monte Christo was as if it sat for days. The gym was glazed over with the skin about a quarter of an inch deep and it was just not a pleasant situation my companion’s blueberry pancakes were good but they had sat under one of those heat lamps also. I have to say I don’t think I will go back. My companion and I used to eat there on occasion but we will no longer go back. Very bad experience especially since it wasn’t that busy and it was New Year’s day. If they were shorthanded they shouldn’t have open part of the dining room or something because I feel like you have to Have enough people or don’t open! Also the very large table next to us was so loud we could hardly talk to each other. As I said I will not be back.

Food was great, service atrocious. We were here last New Years and food and service were great. As a result we had a private party in April and a birthday dinner in October. Service at all was wonderful. Last night for New Years it was terrible. The waitress disappeared for long stretches. Food was brought to the wrong table. Soup brought without a spoon. Dessert without forks. No one, especially managers, seemed to care. Despite all of that the food was excellent. The special 5 course dinner was superb, especially the butternut squash gnocchi and the scallops. Based on last year it was not the fact that it was New Years Eve, just totally disorganized service with no supervision.

All items that we order were spectacular. The duck breast over mushrooms was a perfect medium rare, moist, tender over a bed of various fungi. The martini and manhattan were as good as you can get and with no chips of ice or watering down.
I would rank this restaurant on par with the best places we eat at in NYC.
Congratulations to the chef.

My daughters were home for the holidays and we wanted a special dinner; Paramour met our expectations and then elevated them for next time. Our waiter, Moez, was especially helpful choosing our wine and drinks and his knowledge continued on to our entrees. The food was spectacular and the ambiance was sophisticated without being stuffy. Loved everything about our evening!

Was there for my wife’s birthday.
Everything was excellent service food etc.
The only drawback was being seated right next to the only other twosome while there was plenty of open tables.

Restaurant had no record of our reservation which had been made 3 weeks ago on Open Table. I neglected to bring along restaurant reservation confirmation. They did seat us however. They were very busy due to the Christmas holiday but the food was mediocre at best. We have been to Paramour on multiple occasions but they were not up to par this time.

We had dinner at Paramour on Christmas Day and both had the prix fixe 4-course menu and available the wine pairing. Initially the 2nd course was served a little faster than we preferred but after mentioning it to Kelvin, our waiter, everything was slowed downed so that we could enjoy a leisurely dinner. Without going into all 4-courses, we both had the Black Sea Bass for our entrees and found it to be delicious as were all of the courses. The wine pairings were equally good throughout the meal. Kudos to Kelvin for his service and knowledge of the wines being served.

Had a wonderful Christmas Eve dinner at Paramour. Lobster arancini, chestnut ravioli with duck, and a perfectly-cooked filet were all delicious. Service was attentive and the wine list was very reasonably priced.

With the dining room only one-third full, you'd think you would get the drinks from the bar in a reasonable time, not 50 minutes. After the first thirty minutes had elapsed, we were told a manager would make our drinks since the bar was so busy. We did wait another 20 minutes. Although this was a special occasion, we did not want to spend over 2 1/2 hours at dinner on a weeknight. This is the second horrible service experience we have had at Paramour. It will be our last.

We went for dinner for my husband's birthday. Two of us ordered the prix fixe special. Our son is a vegetarian and ordered a large beet salad and the only vegetarian option, raviolis. The wine was half price and our pinot grigio was very good. My husband and I both ordered the chicken, which was large, tasty., and pretty. He had salad and I had the crab soup which was more corn than crab, but very tasty. There was sour dough and white bread and the sour dough was very good. Service was slow but attentive. The chocolate dessert was extremely rich and we took most of it home. They gave my husband ice cream and biscotti with a candle for his birthday, which was a nice touch and he enjoyed it.

Family bonding and birthday celebration. Great cocktails and modern twist to seasonal food. Service was excellent. My husband and I went to Paramour for Thanksgiving. The food and service were excellent but we were taken back and hit with sticker shock at the cost of the Thanksgiving meal. We got to choose one item from three slots (appetizer, main course, and a dessert). The cost for our salad, turkey dinner and dessert was $65 each. That did not include the beverages. We both got iced tea and I got a coffee. They were $3 each and the glasses and cup were small. If we were to add wine to our meal it would have been an additional $35 each! Fortunately, neither of us drink alcohol. As I said the food was very good but I don't feel it was worth $65. It was definitely a one-time deal. If we were to return it would be a very special occasion.

We had reservations but they were not necessary. When we arrived a few minutes early for our noon reservation we entered the restaurant but there was no one there to great us. Eventually a manager came forward and informed us that he could not seat us yet because they "hadn't finished the staff meeting." So, we stood around in the foyer looking at empty tables until we got tired of standing, then we walked over to one of the tables and sat down.
By this time I was starting to feel like the staff meeting was more important than our dining experience, but eventually the hostess came over and asked us if we wanted something from the bar while we waited for a wait person. My father (it was his birthday) ordered a glass of sauvignon blanc and the hostess returned with what appeared to be a glass of merlot.
When the wait staff was released from their meeting (about 12:07 P) things changed dramatically.
Thanks in-part to my father, I can honestly say that I have been fortunate enough to dine in many of the world's best hotels and restaurants. So, when I say that our waitress "Lady" was superb I speak from experience. There are not enough superlatives to adequately describe how pleasant our dining experience was after Lady took over.
The food was excellent too.

We came into the restaurant for dinner rather early (5:30 seating) and was greeted nicely and escorted to our table set for 2. That was a nice touch, as so many restaurants sit you at a table set for 4 and pull away extra place settings. At first, our server seemed a bit rushed, and was difficult to understand. As the meal and the dinner continued he was more comfortable and engaged a little. Food was very good, and there were many other servers to support our main.
Only complaint was my main course (scallops) weren't hot.

Really delicious food! I had beet salad to start followed by Grouper. Delicious. My colleagues had raw fish appetizers that were wonderful too! Wine a little pricey - food pricey too but this is a special place! Sit on the front porch weather permitting.

I have been to Paramour for brunch, drinks and dinner many times. I used to be able to count on coming here for excellent drinks, good food and excellent service as well. Sadly, this is no longer the case. Over my last few visits service has drastically gone down hill. I decided to give Paramour another chance today and came for brunch with a good friend. Service was horrible. After ordering our food and drinks, our server never came to check on us again. We had long since finished our drinks and had even moved our empty glasses to the edge of the table with hopes that they would be noticed and refilled. Instead our server just cleared the empty glasses and didn't ask if we would like another drink or coffee. Our omelets did not come with toast. I asked for toast and was given two pieces of warm bread, with no butter or jam. Our server and none of the other employees noticed that my bread remained uneaten and that i was not given butter. Our server finally came over quite a bit later and asked if we wanted anything else. At that point we had already been with empty drinks for 20-25 minutes so we said we were fine and it would probably take too long to get anything else. During a normal brunch my friend and I are good for at least 2 drinks each and coffee/cappuccino. My guess is that the server left at least $35 on the table. A very disappointing experience. I can certainly not recommend coming here. I have been to Paramour for drinks and appetizers after work a few times earlier this year with very poor service, so I was hesitant to try coming again. I should clearly have spent my money elsewhere.

We really enjoyed the food! I recommend the grouper and the steak frites. We had the stuffed peppers but it’s a small appetizer. Something the waiter should mention to a table of 4. We would have gladly ordered two!

Reception was terrible. Hostess did not seem to acknowledge our reservation for several minutes, then greeted other guests as we waited to be seated.

Service was curt and minimal. Little checking during the meal, no offer of dessert or coffee at its end. This was for lunch on a Wed. We were the last to leave; I had to ask the bread server who was cleaning a table near us for the check.
