This was a terrific evening. Our Server was outstanding and the meal was delicious. I can't thank them enough!
I came with high expectations but was disappointed. The service was poor. Waters were not refilled, plates were not taken away. It took 2 hours for lunch without appetizers. Waitress just never came back. Food was mediocre at best.
Have been there several times. Service was very painful and slow, almost to the point of ridiculous. Bar and food service extremely slow and not coordinated.
We shared four “ small plates” that were just ok . Nothing special for the price. Our waitress was not friendly or attentive.
Wedding anniversary dinner was wonderful. Every course was unique and delightful. I had not been to this venue for many years. The Paramour update was welcome. The bar appeared to be jumping. We were seated in the dining room. I was surprised that there was only one other table with guests, most of the time we were alone, which was fine; though it was a bit strange.
I cannot say enough about how good the food was and how nicely it was presented. My wife and I were impressed. The bill was hefty, but we did not hold back on enjoying great cocktails, wine, appetizers (good oysters too), secondi, mains (turbot for me, salmon for her), and dessert.
A very nice experience.
Food was great, trout and salmon and pork chop. Salads were good and octopus was excellent. Service was less attentive than previous visits, as a larger table seemed to distract our waitress.
Trout plates were very hot indicating they sat a bit in the kitchen.
Very sad to know that this restaurant is closing - love the Northeast Louis salad!
Ate on the porch as we always do weather permitting.
Delicious meal trout was excellent as was the fettuccine.
Very attentive and knowledgeable wait staff.
One of our favorites!
Easter dinner was not a prix fixe but an off the menu night. This was our second visit within 5 months, after not visiting for a few years. That was our loss as this dinner and the previous one were excellent.
Food was really nicely done— we had Caesar salad, octopus small plate, trout and veal. Wine and drink choices were good but not inexpensive. Bread was not exceptional nor was our dessert, but each were good.
A fine fine meal.
Loved the brunch and my lobster roll as always. Hope the new owners won’t change it too much. We love the food.
Service for Easter Brunch was terrible. The food was average. The terrace was gorgeous. I've heard this place is going under and the service showed that they are on limited time.
The restaurant was fine. Pricey, but good for special occasions.
This is one of my favorite restaurants to visit while up on the mainline. I hope that the "new" restaurant they are planning to open in its place is as good as this one.
Superb service. Magnificent meal.
Excellent food and service
our dinner was delicious and the servers could not have been more efficient or nicer. Prices are over the top but for a special occasion it is well worth the money.
Did not eat in the dining area due to staff shortage and large party.
The food was good and the bartender was really good but our waitress was terrible. She never brought us bread until we asked for it, and it took forever to get our food.
Everything was wonderful!! I will go back next month when I am back in town.
Was serve bad oysters and waited and hour for our main course. .. This was at lunch.. Totally disappointed...
My first time there ..took a friend for birthday brunch..service was awesome..food was great..really glad I picked this place!
One of the worst dining experiences I’ve had in a very long time. If you go, just go for drinks and apps. Go somewhere else for dinner. Wait was awful...and that is coming from someone who likes a slow dining experience. The greeting staff forgot we had arrived and the server and food was super slow to arrive. Order was mixed up and, when food finally came out, it was cold. Save your money...too many other better places for foodies!!!!
Great food. (Short rubs and pasta)Great service. Great ambiance
Food was very good but we had to wait 45 minutes for our dinner after the appetizers on a slow Tuesday night. We didn't like the atmosphere of the renovations. It now feels and looks like a modern sports bar. We used to go frequently but my wife and I both feel we wouldn't come back. It's a shame. A very nice, elegant and luxurious restaurant is now a cross between a sports bar and a diner.
Excellent visit for drinks at the bar followed by brunch the next day. I've been going to Paramour for a few years now and they have improved their service dramatically from last year's visit. The food is always excellent and tasty, even room service is impeccably done. I have recommended to friends and will continue to do so.
Food was excellent! Great presentation and great service. Small point I ordered a martini with 3 olives only got two! I retired from the hospitality business where I spent 43 years in service! It’s the smallest of details people will let goby but not forget! All in all excellent
Food had a lot of flavor and dimension. Wine list is expansive. Great menu selection
Staff was very attentive and my lobster roll was delicious. I had asked for a quiet table and the dining room was just right. Have been to Paramour many times over the years and it never disappoints.
The food was great! Both the taste and the presentation.
We did not appreciate the waiter coming every five minutes to fill up our glasses with water as that was not at all necessary. We ended up paying for water what we would have paid for a bottle of wine!
Very delicious and enjoyable brunch. Everyone liked their menu choices. Service excellent. Will definetly return for dinner and brunch.
Got an email two hours prior to my reservation saying I had canceled, which I hadn't, so I immediately called and was then told it must have been an accident, I then reconfirmed that we would be there, and asked if we still had the reservation, and was told that it would be really busy at that time. I then explained that this was indeed why I had made the reservation in the first place. I asked again if we would have a table and she didn't really know what to say, but said that she would do her best. Got there at 7:30 and was told there were no tables available so we waited about 20 mins, no big deal. The food was good overall but the tiramisu must've died in the walk-in a few days back. Thank God for chocolate covered espresso beans!!
Paramour on a Saturday of Valentine's Day and Presidents was really busy. We sat at a high top in the bar area and enjoyed drinks and small plates. The lobster roll is delicious and served with truffle fries. Entrée menu looks especially tasty and will definitely try on an occasion when we haven't had a late lunch. Service is prompt and not intrusive and able to navigate crowded spaces efficiently and effectively. Prices are relatively high, although this IS the Main Line and patrons don't seem to have any problem with that.
This was our first time there and we were pleased overall, and plan on returning. My rating is based on the fact that when we arrived we were informed that they had over-booked their reservations and they wouldn't be able to seat us for 25 minutes or so, which started the dinner off on a flat note. However, once we were seated the service from Kelvin was outstanding and our meal was delicious. Prices were about what we expected.
I like to find places that create an experience with food. Paramour did just that. I had the salmon which was cooked to perfection and my husband exclaimed the short rib was the best he’s ever had. Overall a great place.
Food was exceptional! Service was stellar! Loved it!
Fabulous food, ambiance and service. It's always a treat to go to Paramour for dinner!
Our group of five dined on scallops veal chop pasta Alfredo and pork chop
We went five for five
Excellent ambiance and service
Not an every day dining experience but absolutely for special occasions
Very awesome food is so great
