    We were there for 2 hours and had to ask for and then scramble to eat our food in the end to catch a show. The food wasn't worth waiting for.

    We were anticipating a quality meal ; ordered the $42 ribeyes - nothing special , came to the table Luke warm after a long wait and the side dishes were small portioned. I had to ask for a water refill and my Margarita drink order I specified no salt but came with salt on the rim. I ordered a Caesar salad and was not offered fresh ground pepper by the server. So this high priced meal ($139 for two) was a real disappointment as this restaurant ‘talks’ a big game but in reality they underperform. I’ll keep looking for a quality restaurant in Salem - this isn’t it. ☹️

    Chicken Marsala was overcooked w too little Marsala sauce. Shrimp scampi had much more tomato than anticipated, and it overwhelmed the scampi flavor. Shrimp were a little overcooked also. Martini is very small. Service was excellent as usual.

    Took my partner here for his birthday. White cloth restaurant without the white cloth. Amazing service, top quality foods. Beautiful presentation. Reasonable pricing for the quality. Will definitely be back

    First time here and will definitely be back. Robin was an awesome server. Even the greeter made us feel immediately welcome. Plus the steaks were cooked to perfection and I am Now a convert to the Black Manhattan!

    Another splendid meal from a splendid restaurant! The menu rotates somewhat seasonally, so what I had (Chicken Marsala) might not be available when you visit, but it was amazing! My companion's Filet was perfectly done and both of our accompaniments were delicious and not just plate-fillers. The little extras (I'll let you be surprised) make you feel quite special! Definitely make reservations on the weekend or you'll be standing on the sidewalk looking longingly through the windows.

    Gracious welcome , superb overall service, lovely wine list and craft cocktails, seasonal menu, food delicious with appropriate portion controlled servings; not gargantuan. Servers are knowledgeable about the dishes; polite without being overly effusive. Paradiso is top notch. True restaurateurs. Also, very important to my sensibilities, the lighting is beautiful and atmospheric, and the noise level is civilized. One can converse without yelling and one can hear those gathered at the table. Often loud is considered lively. It’s not.

    My partner and I visited The Grand Theater Restaurant before a show, hoping for a romantic date night. Unfortunately, our experience was less than ideal. We arrived 10 minutes early for our reservation and we had an hour and 40 minutes before our show, but the service was slow. It took quite some time for our order to be taken, and after 40 minutes, we received our appetizers. We realized that we'd miss our show or have to rush through our meal, so we requested the check. They brought our food as soon as possible and my main dish arrived lukewarm. Even the first old fashioned cocktail my husband ordered was disappointingly watered down. This was far from the romantic and pleasant date night we had envisioned. The Grand Theater Restaurant fell short of our expectations, and we left feeling unsatisfied.

    I ordered a Pisco Sour - first time I have seen it on a menu in Oregon. It came as a work of art by the bartender - beautifully presented. Unfortunately, it wasn't sour like those served in Peru. It was the sweet version that seems to be the rule here in the USA. The bruschetta was nicely done with a build your own theme. My wife's filet was supposed to be medium-well, but it was medium-rare. She decided to not send it back as it was very good (medium-rare would have been perfect for me, but she wouldn't swap). My salmon was very good with a tart apple chutney, charred sprouts, and pureed squash

    We made a reservation for our wedding anniversary. When we arrived they had a lovely booth reserved for us and we received outstanding service from start to finish. At least 3 different people checked on us constantly. We asked for something besides ketchup for our (delicious) frites and they thoughtfull chose two other sauces to dip. It wasn't fast, but it was well-paced between the appetizers and the main meal. We had the steak bites which were excellent and the special, a chicken Marsala dish. Everything was perfectly cooked, hot, and so tasty.

    Our server was outstanding, the food delicious, and the prices were quite reasonable for the quality. Although they are known for their steaks, they had a good variety of seafood and vegetarian dishes on the menu. My husband had the 8oz filet and it was cooked to perfection! They have a nice selection of wine. We had The Ridge Cabernet and it was great.

    Service was wonderful, though we were quite cramped at a table shoved into a window nook. I had included the information that it was an anniversary dinner, so it was a little off-putting from the start. The drinks were good, but the food was hit and miss - a definite disappointment at this price point. Bruschetta was good once we added some salt; the smoked salmon "spread" had nice flavor, but was quite runny. Caesar salad was decent, but rather small for the price. Shrimp entree was good, and the flavor of the chicken entree was also good, although the chicken was sadly quite overdone. Two drinks, two appetizers, one salad and two entrees + well earned tip = nearly $200.

    Solid meal. Great atmosphere. Adequate service but nothing memorable. However, the $46 pasta entree comes with nothing-no bread. No salad. Nada. The meals were incredible, but I’m on the fence if the price to value is there.

    The food was outstanding, the service attentive and well informed about food choices. We received a sample of an appetizer we weren't sure about and it convinced us to get it. The plating of the food made it more appealing. Portion sizes were large and the value for such high quality food was very good. Desserts were amazing. Unfortunately, you were out of the chocolate cookie dessert my husband wanted, but he was happy with creme brule. We got to sample a new menu that was delicious. It was a birthday celebration made memorable.

    It was our first time visiting Paradiso, but it won’t be our last. The food and cocktails were delicious. A bit pricey, but the service and quality of food was well worth it.

    One dish was perfect the other far from it. Steak Dianne came overcooked. They offered to remake it which took nearly 30mins. When it arrived it was rare to raw in places. During the wait they ignored me completely until I started asking what was going on. They did comp the meal but come on, is not hard to cook steak medium rare!!! If you go here don't order steak anything else is probably great.

    We just had dinner again there last night! Took dad this time and he loved it as much as we did. The three of us had the bruschetta with burrata and tomatoes as a starter, then we had the steamer clams and two of the tres major steak with garlic mash potatoes and asparagus. For dessert we shared the cardamom cream brûlée and the chocolate cake! Everything was excellent as usual. Our server Robyn is awesome and always takes great care of us when we’re there.

    This place is such a gem! The cocktails and entrees were stellar! I have never had such a tender well made filet mignon! The ambiance is one of a kind. And the friendly serving staff was the cherry on top of this delightful Friday evening.

    Another spectacular and delicious meal at Paradiso! The food was excellent and the server was very attentive and helpful. The drinks paired well with our meals. The atmosphere was quiet and inviting. Just right for a long enjoyable dinner with friends.
