8oz Patty, Smoked Cheddar, Lettuce, Cajun Tomato Jam, Red Onions & Avocado
With Mango Salsa, Chipotle Mayo
Food excellent. Very noisy, can’t hear yourself talk.
My dinner was not very good, had chicken parm and the chicken was tough. Don't know how you get chicken to be tough but it was. I would be very skeptical about ordering it again. However, my guest had the strip steak, and it was cooked exactly how she requested it to be and it was very tender. The service was excellent and the music with Julian and Domonique was also excellent. Nice atmosphere overall. However, they need to provide a larger dance area. I know they want to fit more tables to make more money, but the reality is they had a large crowd because of the live music and the fact that people can dance. Take that away and see what happens to their business. The dance area needs to be improved as well, the floor is pretty worn in the small area they have for dancing. The place is large, but only 6 or 7 couples can dance at a time; not a good situation.
Perfect place for first time date!!!
My wife and I have been here before to see our friend’s band, Just Jamming and their volume was appropriate for a four piece band. We are also in our own rock band and I recommended Par 440 to friends of ours that we had not seen in a long time knowing that the live entertainment was a crooner with backing tracks. After waiting my turn at the reception desk some woman in a long fur coat walked right past me and the woman receptionist looked right past me and turned to her and gave her a table. I wasn’t there to make a stink and let it go. I never said anything to her. Our friends had arrived early and were at the bar and I was told that by the receptionist. We met up with them and ordered drinks and the background music was at a very respectable level and we could easily hear each other. We decided to get a table and were seated. We sat at the table and ordered our appetizers and continued to talk very easily over the music. The entertainer even came to out]r table to say hello which was nice and I told our friends a little about him. About 15 minutes later he introduced himself and started his music tracks and began to sing. Immediately, we all looked at each other and thought that the music was way too loud. Honestly, most of the crowd was in their late 60’s and 70’s and probably turned off their hearing aids because we just couldn’t take the volume. I took out my phone and measured over 100 db of sound level. Again, we’re musicians and my wife is a studio engineer and our 6 piece band is not nearly as loud as this single entertainer. Maybe he thought he was still at Atlantic City. Looking around we could see people trying to have conversations but sat silent mostly because they couldn’t either. I just couldn’t take it any longer and went to speak to the receptionist. We asked to speak to the manager after another 15 min and she came back with his card and said he’s too busy. Call him tomorrow. We packed up and left. Went to Cheesecake Factory
Everything was fine.
Music a little loud. I realize it was later but too loud. Otherwise great experience and will be back!
Great music(Eric) & dancing . Fun night. Unfortunately had to return prime rib. Tough, chewy & grisly . Could not eat it.
Otherwise food ok.
It was a great evening, even being Valentine's Day! Service was great, food was perfect and the live music was the best.
Had a drink at the bar and as always, Jeff was the best!!
Valentines Day Dinner with friends.
Fred the bartender was wonderful!
Cherie our waitress was great!
We really enjoyed ERIC the Entertainer
Great food and service! Handled Valentine's day crowd very well
Excellent service and amazing food!
Amazing staff, from hostess to waiter to server. Food was amazing. Highly recommend to all!
Beautiful service beautiful food
ERIC and the food was amazing!
Our server was great!
There were two servers for the entire restaurant, but only one was working consistently. The other would disappear, leaving one person to wait on the entire restaurant. Needless to say, the service was not very good, despite the efforts of the one person who was working.
My friend and I went for lunch and were pleasantly surprised by how comfortable and quiet the restaurant was, and how extensive the menu is. We chose several different items to share and enjoyed each one. The service was attentive and friendly and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.
Our first time at Par 440 and we're sure it won't be the last. The sushi and drinks were outstanding. The service terrific. On this Saturday night, there was a live crooner, who was super talented and super fun. We actually danced, as did many others. My only complaint is that the amplified live music was too loud (I'm a nurse, oh well) so diners sitting close to the front are advised to bring earplugs to dampen the decibel level a bit for a truly fun evening.
I drove all the to the location (25 min) and it was closed.
This was my third time here and each time the food has been excellent. Also, fabulous holiday decorations. Not at all what you would expect at a public golf course
Food was delicious. Had the pasta Bolognese. Bread came in foil, but wasn’t hot. They could have served some nice crusty Italian bread. The music was unbearably loud. Went outside for some quiet, and they blasted the music out there.
Great place for an adult night out. Live music, bar and on a golf course. What else can you ask for.
Would not recommend this place. The inside restaurant was used for a special group which meant we had to eat outside. No waiters for more than 5 minutes and the added factor that the table next to us was smoking cigars made us d crude to quickly leave. Will not make the mistake of going back there
To start at Par 440 they offer IPads rather than traditional menus. Very Millennial!!!! That said I get it my 97 year old Dad has an IPad and is quite literate with it. I had no problem using it but it was so divided into categories that at no point could you compare if you wanted a pasta, meat , seafood or burger. You had to switch between categories. Next we finally decided on our meal. We both ordered an entree on the higher end of the price scale and an appetizer. When presented with our appetizer, which was fried mozzarella topped with a sausage based marinara sauce. We had to ASK for bread. It wasn’t as if we had ordered two burgers. I ordered the stuffed lobster tail and my husband ordered the prime rib. Really no bread. When the bread arrived it was wrapped in foil and resembled yesterday’s challah bread reheated luke warm. Really we are in the Italian bread capitol of the country, yet we were served a pillsbury refrigerated dough product. As for the entrees portions very generous. Quality, taste not so much. My 3 oz lobster tail(I am being optimistic it was 3 oz) was covered in a fishy tasting breading, no crabmeat to be seen. My husband had the prime rib and although a generous portion lacked any flavor whatsoever. The mashed potatoes on the other hand were so loaded with garlic they were unpalatable. We waited an interminable amount of time to receive our check. I want to like this place the ambiance is really nice. They might make the menu smaller and concentrate on good food and not try to have a menu similar to a Jersey diner/ sushi restaurant.
I went with a party of 5 all first timers & they enjoyed themselves ! I thought the drinks were a little pricey , but the bartender made the best chocolate martini I ever had ! The DJ & Eric was great !
It never disappoints. Love the new tech menu. Fun.
Gerard Espo was OUTSTANDING.
SERVICE IS AWESOME. FOOD WAS DELICIOUS.
Beautiful in every way
The music was deafening and way TOO loud. Sat at table without menus or water for over 20 minutes. We got up and were leaving, when a waitress approached us and said there was a miscommunication and wanted to serve us.
After we were served, we are very quickly so eat during the band's break.
This was my 2nd visit. So impressed w this establishment. Have been telling others about it. Very nice atmosphere and great crowd!! Will definitely be returning.
I made a reservation specifically to sit outside. It was written in my reservation made in Open Table. The first thing the receptionist said was there are NO tables outside. Had I known this I would not have gone
The service was awful. I had to ask for water repeatedly. I’ve been here many times and they never have ice cubes and in hot weather this is a bit of an inconvenience
If you have outside dining you should be prepared for bugs. We all were eaten alive by bugs and ended up with numerous bites. The server disappeared and when our friend went inside to see about having the dirty plates removed they were standing inside with their arms crossed.
They offered free dessert to counter balance the lack of service. We’ve been here repeatedly and each time it gets worse. This was our last visit for mediocre food and awful service and priced high for what it is
It’s a shame because in the summer we look for places with outside dining.
You noted in your reservation "a request". This does not "guarantee" you outside seating. We cannot bump out guests that were already seated outside. We always supply ice for our beverages. This complaint is a lie. From "no table outside", to "sitting outside". Faulting us for mosquito bites is childish. We do not control weather or wildlife. Your waitress that evening has an excellent track record with us and her former employer. Feel free not to return. We will not accept your business.
Fish was good (Clams & Mussels) but the stuffed meatballs were dry and salty. It was definitely not a meat combination of Beef & Veal which you expect to find in this type restaurant.
Also, had to move inside for dinner the porch had no shade and the heat was brutal. They should definately consider sun shades.
We appreciate the praise on our fresh fish dishes. This is first we've had a complaint about our stuffed meatball being dry or salty. We can assure you that it is Beef, Pork & Veal combination. Our outside porch is a covered porch, so all day and during your reservation at 5:30. There was coverage, complete with ceiling fans. We will however bring up the sun-setter awning suggestion to cover the lower patio with the building's ownership
Food was excellent, drinks were great and we love sitting outside on a beautiful summer night! Service was great too!
The food was good with a lot of variety on the menu. The service was frustrating. We had to ask for silverware and napkins after our appetizers arrived. The waitress had little knowledge of bar choices not on the drink menu. Beer choices are very limited.
First time we went food was good, service was excellent and the environment was lovely and relaxing
Second time service was lagging and slow. There was a private party outside so the noise level kept escalating and the service took a long time. Pricey but if all else was good I wouldn’t have minded Not sure we will return anytime soon We chose Par 440 because we enjoy sitting outside in the summer and they have a lovely deck
Too loud for me. We went on a Saturday night to try out the entertainment after eating there a few times. The food is very good with a tuna that's about as good as legal seafood and better sides. The music before the entertainer was already so loud that I had to yell to be heard. Once the singer started he kept increasing the volume so that I couldn't hear anything else and the feedback was truly painful. I could take no more and had to leave. My ears were ringing for a whiIe afterwards and I may refer this to the Department of Health for unsafe sound levels.
It’s a decent place for an informal meal, but has some inflated prices for very basic dishes. The food is fine, even tasty. Our server would disappear for long periods of time, so we had to ask random employees if they could find our server for us. There are better alternatives locally.
We've been to Par 440 many times but never for brunch. Not sure if they had new staff but the waiter didn't know whether omelets came with toast or potatoes, or other very basic things - clearly no knowledge of the menu. At halfway through our meal a number of service people kept asking if we were finished - we clearly were not - they just kept coming and coming hoping to clear the table. Two of us ordered omelets and they were awful. And those potatoes were side dishes. Overall we would have been better off having breakfast at a good diner.
My husband and I really enjoyed ourselves and this was our first time. We will be back.
We made a reservation and when we got to the restaurant the host said that certain tables were already earmarked by other people having made reservations. The restaurant was empty. The host was not nice at all. When we asked for a table he grudgingly gave us one in the front. Not a good experience.
Fridays and Saturdays are busy nights. Regardless of weather or not the restaurant is "empty" upon arrival, tables are assigned, based on time of expected arrival and head count. As this is the only table we had issue with on 3/29/19, this is the Carole Barabander, reviewing us as "anonymous" was pointless. For readers, this was a party of 2 that requested a table that was reserved for 4. We accommodated them with said table at the inconvenience of the guests that were meant for that seating.
Your DJ was playing WAY TOO LOUD. We are eating not dancing at a Disco. I needed ear plugs.
Not a good ambiance at all. Food was not of good quality. Sent back your steaks and only good thing was a burger. I can get that any where and have to listen to that DJ that was so loud and annoying.
Meals were a good size & expertly presently. Great service. Especially Julie. Julian & Dominique we’re fabulous, which is what kept us there for hours!
Thank you, Mario & Staff, for a fine Saturday night out! We will definitely be back soon.
