Wanted to like it more. Staff were all friendly and efficient. It felt more like a bar than a restaurant with some noisy drunk people screaming, and sports on TVs everywhere you looked. But I don’t mind bars, when the food and drinks are excellent. But here they were not bad, but not great either this includes the mixed drinks and Fish fries that we ordered. Maybe just a bad day.

Food was good, prices are mostly reasonable, service is good, and old fashioned salad bar was excellent. Do not order anything well done as they tend to overcook anyway. My only concern was being seated after walk-ins with an on time reservation.

Prime rib was excellent. Baked potato was over done. Salad bar was good but lighting was very bad in one section, couldn’t see the condiments. The room was very loud and hard to hear conversations. Our server was excellent.

We had a 7:00 pm reservation and arrived on time. When we checked in we were told it would be a half hour wait, even with a reservation. I asked why and was told it was because they were busy. Why make a reservation! When we were finally seated, we knew why. They don’t save tables for reserving customers. People who were seated and finished eating stayed even after paying and getting their take home boxes. One table was finished when we got there and was still there when we left. Never again

It's obviously a very popular place for locals. There was not a single parking spot in the lot. We drove thru several times to get one as someone left. All the people were friendly, but the bartender over charged us for our drinks and didn't give the correct change back when I asked about it. The Friday broiled fish was ok, kind of bland. As with everywhere the price of the 2 pc. fish was kind of high, but it did include a nice salad bar. Our waitress was very busy and never came back to ask if we wanted water or if everything was ok. If you are hoping for some conversation, this is not the place to go on a Fri. night. It was VERY loud. I'd like to try something else off their menu when it's not so busy.

This place was busy on a Friday evening, but things seemed very disorganized. We waited over 1/2 hour past our 6:00 reservation to be seated. Our server, who was great, was attempting to take care of way too many customers. Friday shrimp was excellent; Friday fish fry was not good—strange tubes of breading with little actual fish inside. Walleye fingers appetizer was dry and flavorless. Maybe other items on the menu are better.

Like always. The food and service were fantastic. We had a really good time. Food came out quickly and it was very hot. A really good experience.
