Pappardella restaurant brings to you the flavors and food of Tuscany. Established in 1983, Pappardella offers a romantic setting of timeless charm with 20 foot ceilings, French doors; a stunning mural of Florence.
Menu and service reflect the warmth and attention of the old world, as well as the diversity and techniques of today. we feature homemade pasta, artisanal pizza; other great Italian staples, like chicken parmagian, grilled branzino; scrumptious tiramisu.

The food was great — I got the bolognese and my friend got the lasagna and we started off the dinner with the meatball appetizer. The food was great, the issue was the service. It was extremely unprofessional tonight. I waited about 20 minutes to get serviced, meanwhile the table right next to me was getting serviced even though I had gotten there a good 10 minutes before they did. By the time I was offered a drink by the waitress, who didn’t introduce themselves or greet me and only asked “did you want something to drink?”, the couple next to me had already been receiving their appetizers. When the other half of my party arrived, a different waiter took over and only addressed the person I was with and didn’t speak to me directly. It felt disrespectful to say the least. We weren’t properly checked up on over the course of our meal, and it’s difficult when you’re seeing the people next to you be treated with a different level of service and care. To top it off, I was excited about the dessert and it was a main reason for me coming tonight. When we were looking through the menu, a different waitress came by and rushed us to choose with an attitude. We decided we had enough, and asked for the check. It was my first time at this establishment, and I’ve never been treated this way at any restaurant before. I had high hopes due to the reviews and me being a foodie, extremely disappointing.

Paparadelle is a good neighborhood Italian spot with good people and good food. Always busy at dinner from a loyal local clientele I have enjoyed the fish meat and pastas regularly. Thank you to the caring kind people at Paparedelle. Grazie Mille

Unfortunately the food was average. Too much sauce in my spaghetti and nothing special that made me want to go back to the restaurant.

The food was excellent and for the most part the service was as well. However something occurred that I found off. At some point during the meal, one of my guests asked for more bread (we were a party of 10 and I think there were maybe 2 or 3 baskets on the table. The server said she couldn't because "we were running low". I then asked and was given the same answer. That's unacceptable and for a table with a $900+ check, I found that totally unacceptable.

Everything I have had here is absolutely delicious. I visit almost every time I come to NYC. Must stop! Lamb is incredible. So is every special I’ve had.
