   We’ve been residents of Rockville Centre for 22 years and have enjoyed many meals at Pappa Gallo since it opened. Today, we came in for the salsa brunch—something we were excited to try after Carolina told us about it when we stopped in for a quick bite at the bar on Wednesday. As always, Carolina was warm and welcoming, and Diana, the hostess, was also lovely. Unfortunately, our experience took a disappointing turn when Maria (possibly the manager) got involved as we tried to accommodate a group of eight. Rather than working with us to find a reasonable solution, she seemed unwilling to help and even made up a story to avoid seating us together. Her attitude left a very sour impression and made us seriously reconsider whether we’d return as a group. While we’ve been loyal customers for many years, this interaction was upsetting. At this point, it seems we may be better off sitting at the bar where Carolina consistently provides outstanding service. I’m happy to share more details directly with the management.

   Papa Gallo was great . The food was 10/10 and the drinks too. Sofia was our server and she was incredible. Entertainment was perfect and really set the mood for a lively Friday night. Also shout out to Peter who was extremely attentive and recommended the best cheesecake I’ve ever had.

   A big disappointment. I went for my boyfriends birthday and when I booked inde this clear online and called twice and reminded them when dessert came to sing to him and put candle on cake. Well waiter came cake and nothing else I had to tell him to go back and bring a candle on cake and sing to him. I was embarrassed and mortified. On top of that I booked cause of live music how about the guy singing took three half hour breaks and sang a total of of three songs per break. It was a total disaster. Management needs to do better. Our waitress was also no where to be found half the night. Food was subpar but I came deal with that. The whole vibe was terrible and birthday got ruined. Wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. And the best part was I could see if it were busy where things could get hectic but it was not.

   It was a great experience. The waitress was great, the service was perfect. No rush, accommodating, friendly, and very experienced. We will be coming back .

    The servers were nice, but they don’t accommodate any changes to the menu. Asked for a common drink, the bartender said they don’t have that. When I was staring right at it. Asked to substitute white rice for yellow rice, they said they don’t do that. Asked to substitute regular fries for yuca fries, they didn’t do that either. They want you to purchase everything additional to your already overpriced meal. Nice ambiance, decent food, not great service and high prices.
